I'm a Miranda fan but I love Jack! People call me a ****** for romancing females and aliens as male Shepard but I think they forget this is just a game, and Ithe stories are incredible. I love Jack because she's tough and lives by her instincts, and that's what I do.  When Shepard says he doesn't see her as the thinking type, I thought he was insulting her, but she's survived this long trusting her feelings, so I see it as a compliment. She doesn't fall in love with you just cuz you saved her or gave her a wink, which was a nice change. I'm tired of people liking Shepard for no reason! <_<

Anyway, the relationship feels more real because of that, and I also like how Shepard tries to go in for a kiss like he did with Miranda only she shoves him off, that made me laugh

And I hope Jack is still on the Normandy for Mass Effect 3, and that a Reaper doesn't blow it up within the first 5 minutes

@ Natali-major-momscream: Welcome to the Jack thread! Many of us share your opinions, especially the "I'm tired of people falling in love with Shepard with no reasons". Jack is different because the first thing she does is insulting him :-)

There are parts I don't like in every romance, but I could tell that BioWare took a lot of care with Jack's. I love Miranda, but when she said she was in love with you it reminded me of my boyfriends in middleschool who would say they love me after 2 weeks of dating I think Jack and Shepard love each other but instead of saying it like they're worried the other will become disinterested, they show it in their body language and commitment to each other, and also by reading between the lines, rather than just saying those stupid words that have become an obligation rather than an exclaimation of affection.

Haha, I remember twitching and thinking "Ouch, she has a point. I do sound like a ****..."

I may have not realized it, but I had fallen for her from the very first moment.

True. I'm just using deductive reasoning from shallow information. They want a smaller squad than 12, and it seems that Mordin, Legion, Zaeed, Thane, Jacob, Samara, Morinth, and Kasumi are temporary or non-existent. So maybe Vega/Garrus/Grunt/ and Jack/Tali/Miranda. I could easily see Miranda being involved in the story which would make a new female squaddie more balancing. Who knows, apparently squadmates don't even work like they did in the first 2 games, but what I see is a bunch of "permanent" squaddies that are either very loyal and/or they are good fighters. They don't have much pull with their respective species so thus they are best served as Shepard's bodyguards/boot-shiners.

I believe it's the Kirk effect, but really, many of the romances suffer from this. They feel hurried, and/or try to be funny, romantic, and snarky all in one conversation. Jack's are relatively long, and progress with good consistency, imo.

It's funny cuz it's true about a lot of the paragon options, "my name is Shepard. You're in a bad situation and I'm going to get you out of here."

I wonder if she even knew you were there for her. The whole thing was kind of hectic, to put it lightly.

Yeah I didn't realize it either. That whole first playthrough was kind of a blur.

Jack's eyebrows are dark brown. But I don't imagine Jack would be opposed to dyeing her hair.

I'll admit, I want her to have a funky hair color partially because we have too many dark-haired women as it is.

I think red (or "blood red") would probably work, too. As long as it fits her personality, I'm fine. Don't let us down Bioware!

I would prefer brunette, but who knows. They had some crazy ideas with her hair colour in the concept stages right, so they might refer back to one of those. I wonder if they're going to do something creative with her hair, since she has those tattoo's up there.

I wasn't a big fan of Jack at first, but once I started playing my MShep and he got to know her, I can see the appeal,will definitely be keeping her as my main LI in ME3 for Marcus Shepard

I don't think the kills that Jack considered "good ones" were negative to her, she enjoys killing.

Haha, yeah I wouldn't mind something like that.  Maybe if there was a scenario where Shepard ends up sacrifing himself for Jack to defeat the "last" Reaper or something (I know, cheesy - just for the sake of the suggestion), they end up showing a scene, where you see Jack and a distinctive tattoo representing Shepard at the end or something.
