Something was wrong with Jack's portrayal in ME3? I've only seen her twice so far but she seemed like the same old Jack to me.

Yes, look over the past few pages.  There's stuff about the romance, and there's stuff about ME3 Jack in general.

Liara knows Jack's first name.  What else does she know?  Would Jack care to find out?  Would she go looking for her parents, for closure, or has she put all of that behind her, with her past?

I put a basic post in there about how some of us feel there's not enough difference between romance dialogue and friendship dialogue with Jack.

I'm going to wait for a day or two for things to calm down. Feel like a lot of posts are going to get buried in the mass posting on everyone on the boards.

Speaking of buried though, was my question about anyone having the PC version and modding buried? or was it just a no go from the people that still visit around these parts?

The holo. Vid was pretty interesting you could hear the desperation in her voice to communicate with shepard. Then it went back to the ol "oh I just wanna get laid" lines. Not saying I'm against it but where's the heart? And on another note where is any conversation with her that I actually feel that she would show vulnerability to any kind of emotions? I understand the fact shes doing her. **** I'm doing me but there should be more of an even ground. I'm not asking for the world, but I would like something.

Modding within the ME universe is very minimal. Bioware/EA locks down their system fairly well. More reason Bethesda is now superior.

Really? I've seen a rather large number of reskin videos involving ME and ME2 allowing the popular same sex relationships that werent possible, even seen ones like Miranda and Jack cuddling on the bed together. >_<

Did the newest game get a better protection in comparison? Just trying to find a way to make more scenes with Jack even if its only fan made. Palate swapping her ME3 look for another squad mate or if it would be able to work the ME3 ones back into ME2 despite the older design.

Reskins are pretty simple, mod-wise. Jump over to Skyrim Nexus to see what a real modding community looks like.

Pretty much, EA doesn't want to lose DLC money to modders. Only thing I can think of.

Mods = DLC for consoles. This is what they should do.
Best mods (rated by fans) become DLC for the console editions.
It would be a good way to get money from fans and some wierd/funny conetnet besides generic map/weapon packs

Also, regardless of the fact that we should have had some deeper conversations with Jack if romanced
"You just want to peel me out of an Alliance uniform" has to be her best line of dialogue.
Courtney Taylor is a master of voice acting and the way she says the line is awesome.

I think if Bioware had a bigger budget for the dialogue, that we would get more out of Jack because her VA was incredible, but she can only do so much from what written, you know what I mean? It's not like she can't pull off making Jack sound sincere or worried about Shepard, she has to go off what's written in front of her, so if there was more I think we would be a bit happier with Jack and we could discuss future possibilities with her (plus it doesn't help that the ending doesn't leave that much room for interpretation and what the future holds for them, lmao.)

Wouldn't that be a problem with the voice actor director, then?

Basically, or where their priorities are concerning their budget.

Two things.

First to those who've played TOR and the Agent class, do you guys feel there are any similarities between Jack and Kaliyo? There are a hell of a lot of similarities (rough childhood, same general physical appearence, love of violence etc.). I almost feel like Jack should have turned out drastically different depending on how you concluded the loyalty mission from ME2. And that Renegade Jack somehow wound up in TOR.

Curious for anyone's input on this.

Secondly, does anyone know (and I'm sure this has been asked before in an endlessly annoying fashion) does anyone know if there are any 'grand' Shep-Jack fan fics out there stretching ME2-ME3? I can never find any on FanFiction.net and with that ending...

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Considering how little Jack material there is in ME3, I can't say I'm surprised that ME2 had little effect on her if you encouraged her destructive behavior. You could say that Jack knew who she wanted to be, and she became that person despite Shepard, not because of him (though encouraging Jack to let go of her past did help).  I guess it amounts to personal opinion whether or not it's okay for a character to develop on its own with its own idea of who it wants to be.

As for ME2-ME3 Jack/Shepard fic, there's only one that I know of, and it involves a complicated love triangle between Shepard, Ashley and Jack.  That's not the only part of the fic, but if you're not in to that, and you only want to see Jack and Shepard being cute and kicking ass, I don't know of anything.

Nightfable, I like what I'm seeing. Jack/Shepard cutesiness is the best. Is that a single image, or part of your comic?

Aw, man...I can't handle seeing sad Jack pictures on DA, because they always upset me too much to leave feedback and comments :crying:

EDIT: Now I need to look at some happy Jack art.
