Hey... do you guys know if any of these artists (or anyone else, TBH) would be interested in drawing up some art for my fic? I really wanna try to get some of my stuff put into a visual medium.

(***SPOILER: What I really wanna get done first is an image of a Krogan in a Battlemech fighting an Indoctrinated Yahg in a 'vampire vs werewolf' pose( Chapter 39), but I have more than a few Jack moments I'd love to see in image form, such as the TIM choice confrontation in The Pit (37) or when she's been partially mind-controlled by Cerberus (7). Heck, I'd even like to see her protecting Miranda and shepard's kids in chapter 27, although i have other scenes from that chapter that probably deserve to be drawn first. Maybe the scene from 28 where she's blinded and Shepard's cleaning her face....***)

Anyway, if you could point me in any direction/you're interested in giving it a go yourself, let me know!

I really liked conversations with Jack at Grissom Academy, she still has a lot of the bravado that she did in ME2 and the paragon interupt on the shuttle ride back to the Normandy is great. The only thing is that she's stuck in that mode for the rest of the game.

The whole "no strings attached"  conversation during the date scene on the Citadel really doesn't fit with the fact that Shepard reaffirmed the relationship back at the academy. I'd have prefered if they had Jack expess a little bit of the "softer" side that she had in the ME2 romance scene:

Jack: Hey.

Shepard: Are you doing paperwork?

Jack: Yeah, it's what I do for fun now that I'm "respectable". I blame you for this Shepard.

Shepard: You look good though, military life suits you.

Jack: (smirks) You just want to see me in one of those Alliance uniforms don't you?

Shepard: Jack, what's going on? I know you didn't email me just so we can go back and forth.

Jack: Been thinking about us, where we're going. We're ****ing great together, but you've got the Normandy and I've got my guys, what if something happens? I don't want to lose you.

Shepard: I don't want to lose you either.

Jack:  Then maybe we should call it off. We got a job to do, and we can't keep worrying about what's going to happen.

Shepard: Jack, no matter what the future holds I'll always want you in my life. I love you.

Jack: I love you too, but if the **** hits the fan it's going to suck.

Shepard: I told you already, it might suck but it's been one hell of a ride.

Jack: (smiles) It sure has. You're sure about this though?  Last chance to back out, no strings attached.

Shepard: (wraps arms around Jack) I'm staying right here, no matter what.

Jack: God, you make the best mistakes (kisses Shepard)

Does anyone have a succinct list of things pissed you off about Jack's romance in ME3?

I only have two:

1) Could have been a bit more emotional and maybe a bit less physical/sexual.
2) Needed more of her damn it.

I would pay 30$ for DLC where Jack join to my team and there are few missions focused around her... but only if they gonna do something about ending of the game. Now I don't wanna touch this game again.

Would we have to choose between less physical/more emotional? As was said before, Jack probably does enjoy physical intimacy, and Jack can express her emotions through physical intimacy.

In my opinion, the problems are that:
1) Jack has inadequate screen time and inadequate lines (probably the worst of these)
2) Jack and Shepard have inadequate time together for romance material
3) There isn't enough difference between romance dialogue and friendship dialogue
4) When romanced, at times Jack seems almost passive towards Shepard (see the holo-conversation dialogue)

They had the ending debacle on CNN.. We're winning I think, just keep holding the line!

Maybe we can get romance DLC if that happens to.

Oh, no need to pick one or the other! I just need some more reasons than what I posted.

Good luck, Nightfable. I've seen lots of pictures of Jack on DA where the artist said they gave up on drawing all of her tattoos, not that I blame them.

It's difficult, but it's worth it. The tough part will be imagining the ones on her legs...
