You get some time for target practice with Garurs, on the Citadel. What other things do you think Shepard and romanced Jack would do on a date? I kind of remember someone saying in the old Jack thread, that Shepard and romanced Jack might sneak somewhere they're not supposed to be, or break in, and enjoy each other there.
Yeah I know, I just had a funny mental image in my mind and seeing Jack make fun of Shepard. I wouldn't mind them going "pirate" for a few hours.

Shepard nows the kind of entertainment Jack likes.
One Space Station.
One Sacred Hanar Moon.
I hope everyone gets the reference lol

The worst part about them is all the Sad Love Interest art that's being made. Sad Jack...I can't handle seeing Sad Jack. If I have to, I'll commission some Happy Jack art myself.
Speaking of Happy Jack:

I've tried writing for other characters, but they don't have the same impact on me as Jack does, I relate better to her, which reflects on my music tributes to her.

I'm writing some new Jack material - I'm trying to make it sound happy - more so after ME3. If they were to have a happy ending together, though my music is sort of mellow. I'll see what happens, haha.

spiros, we'll need Happy Ending music to go with the Happy Ending fanart. You know what made Mondo's Shepard/Jack fanfic so great? She recommended songs to go with some of her stories. That had such an incredible enhancing effect.

I was definitely a little disappointed in the Jack romance for 3. But, in my head, I'm telling myself that they did indeed do what Bromanov said. Just wish they confirmed it and showed something a little more romantic then "they go dancing". I'm not asking for anything explicit, even just a quick cut of them going into a back room or even going aboard the Normandy then cutting to black would work for me. Also, wish they showed Jack's emotional side a little more. I think in a situation like these, especially during the com when you're back on Earth, she would have been willing to let her walls down for Shepard just a bit.
If I had to guess, it's because they're not technically alone. Hell, it was never just the two of them in the entire damn game.
Letting down her walls would probably require Shepard to be the only one within earshot and sight. But that's just me.

Well, gee. You think Shepard and Jack couldn't find some private time behind one of the Makos, before heading off to the final battle? It's not as if Jack's students don't know about their teacher being with the Legendary Commander Shepard, Savior of the Citadel. The entire galaxy is wired for the internet. Everyone must know. And, seeing as how that was a major military function at the end, and word travels quickly in situations like that, you might have a harder time finding someone who doesn't know that Jack is with Shepard. So, since there's no privacy for them to find anywhere, they might as well just make out in front of everyone. These are my thoughts on the matter.

Just cause people know doesnt mean she would be ok with letting the walls down in front of people....Making out though ya she should be able to do that. But any emotional stuff ya I doubt she would want that out

Yeah, what he said.
And judging from the banter that the students say when you pass by them during the Grissom Academy mission, Jack never talked about Shepard around the kids. All they know is that her teacher just straight made out with the savior of the Citadel, and all that bull.
But yeah, now that I think of it, it's probably possible that the students, of all people, would probably be the first to know about Jack's emotional love for Shepard, considering the love she has for them. Sh*t like that would probably take time though, however small.
1 or 2 years of being loved against 23 or 24 years of being screwed over has to be taken into account. Old habits are going to die hard.
EDIT: I'm glad I caught that piece about Aresh in the game. Anyone else read about what happened to him?

Not much to say that has not already been said. Just wanted to add my piece.
Things started out so good. The Academy mission was excellent, and the progress that Jack made as a character was amazing. Loved the new attitude, loved the hair, loved the new direction she was taking her life in.
And then.....that's it. One brief meeting on the citadel and one short phone call.... To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.
With the added effect of the game's strange ending, I'm finding that I can't even enjoy a second playthrough like I did with ME1 and 2. It's an excellent game and a great series but it just seems pointless now. I really don't understand how Bioware could just write off the me2 characters so easily. It stings extra bad when you see what happens in relationships with other characters like liara and ashley

I didn't hate the Jack romance scenes in ME3, but I went in with my expectations low, given how many possible love interests there are, some of them are bound to get short shrift. It could have been better (Liara), but on the other hand it definitely could have been worse (Jacob! Geez, people who romanced him really got screwed over).Ninjapino wrote...

Given that a big part of Jack's romance in ME2 was breaking through her devil-may-care exterior to her real feelings underneath, it would have been nice for there to be at least one small moment with some of the latter, instead of just showing the former. But I can rationalize that Jack only lets her guard down with Shepard in private, and we really only saw them together in public. And I think it can be reasonably assumed that they had some private time together after the date in Purgatory, that the writers just decided not to depict for whatever reason.

Funnily enough, I had a few ideas recently about what Jack and Shepard might have got up to during their downtime. One such idea involved a dare contest with Garrus, the outcome of which was Jack and Shepard doing this to Miranda (replace the word house with office): roosterteeth.com/comics/strip.php

I actually think the Jacob romance was superior, because in a game that was billed as the end of a trilogy...it ENDED. Even though it was pretty ****ty how it ended, at least those who took Jacob as a romantic option were able to see that relationship play out in it's entirety. Same with Thane.
Jack's relationship in ME3 is more like......hey, great to see you again, but now I gotta go fight the war! When this is over we are gonna figure all this out and it'll be great and i'm gonna get laid aaaaaand.....now sheppard is dead (maybe). THE END.
To me, the jack/shep ending was much more abrupt and less satisfying. What happens is less important than knowing that the relationship took it's next step. Whatever that step happens to be

I agree. When Jack disappears after the dancing scene, I said aloud, "That's it?" No walk back to the Normandy? No fooling around in Shepard's cabin? No people in the CIC wondering why the Normandy is shaking itself apart?

@spiros,
Sounds sunny, bright, airy, happy, and hopeful. That last one is obvious. Everything I'd hope an ending for Jack and Shepard would be. Everything I'd hope an ending for any LI would be, really.
Where do you guys see Jack and Shepard after ME3, assuming a "Good" End? Where are they? What are they doing?
How do you guys think the various ME3 Normandy crewmembers would react to hearing about Shepard dating Jack? What do you think Vega's reaction would be? Vega's always good for a humorous take on things.
Vega (at Shepard, who is working at the weapon table): "Hey, Commander, you got someone on your arm?"
Shepard: "Yeah. You could say that."
Vega: "Who? Do I know 'em?"
Shepard: "Maybe. She's the galaxy's most dangerous criminal, and the most powerful human biotic."
Vega (dropping off of the pull-up bar): "Wait. The bald chick? With the tattoos? I used to see her Wanted posters all over the place."
Shepard (at Vega): "She's got some hair now. And she's with the Alliance."
Vega (shaking his head): "Alliance must be real desperate with these Reapers around. Permission to speak freely, sir?"
Shepard: "Go ahead."
Vega (at Cortez): "Cortez, I can't figure this guy out. He's the biggest do-gooder you ever did see, and he's dating someone who knocks over mercenary companies for fun."
Cortez: "Takes all kinds, Vega."
