First time poster, long time player and Jack fan from the first conversation.

I've been following this thread for a bit and just wanted to chime in and say that I'm a bit disappointed that being a renegade in ME2 had no effect on Jack in ME3. Seeing her mature is great, don't get me wrong but deep down I think I would have liked to see her overseeing a pirate fleet. Am I alone in this thought?

Yeah, it would be cool but also it would make game too complex if renegade/paragon would have influence on how companions develop in next game. ;)

They could have fit Jack in to the Cerberus missions. They could have fit Jack in to the missions with Aria to recruit the pirates. But, they didn't. I guess they really just want you to accept that Jack knew who she wanted to be, and that she became that person anyway. After all, doesn't Jack tell Shepard that "no one tells her what to do" if you encourage her to kill Aresh?

l would be even more dissapointed if there would be one mission with her in team. I mean it would be like taking only one bite of the most delicious cake on the world and never again be able to eat more of it. :D Now at least I have hope for some DLC with her as proper companion.

I've got a few compliments and seen another person actually even using my sig (**** yeah) so I thought I'd share.

It's a two piece sig. Just stack one part on top of the other for the desired effect.

Thanks, I'm gonna use it, but I would prefer campaign DLC. It's hard to make post-campaign DLC when in most of endings Sheppard dies and even when he survive, he is almost dead ;). Also there is no to much to do after campaign - it's hard to imagine Sheppard going on any mission after he killed Reapers.

Seeing what they did with some of the other characters I'm happy to see that she was still around by the end.

How would that work if you already finished the game? Just curious.

Just like Kasumi for example. If you already finished the game you have to start a new game+ or just a new game to recruit her. They already stated that most likely all DLCs will be happening before ending.

Yeah I'm hitting a mental block on direction for my Aftermath fic since the Reaper threat is gone. Having a few Reapers that were say in the Outer Rim or in an area not occupied by a Relay seems like a cop-out to keep the threat there though its now within limits to be less of a galatic threat. Making a sudden new enemy seems like I'm pulling some crappy Yuuzhan Vong invasion type move which is what I feel ruined the Star Wars novels for me.

Had a request for a thinner lite version. So in honor of Jack I figured, "Hey, why the **** not?"

Well by saying "post-campaign DLC" I'm also saying "fix the ending" without being all in your face about it. Still, I don't disagree with you one bit. I'll take campaign DLC too. There's a certain cot in lower engineering that nobody's using.

After ME2 I was found quite often in the old "jack thread". Now Im lurking around this one. At first I was so happy with the changes I saw with Jack at Grissom's. And then there was the citadel... And I still had hope.
They would meet again before the end I said to myself. They'll get a special scene, a lot more dialogue. After all, in the Dev Journals they spoke about the LI's, and said they would not so much focus on building new relationships, but flesh out the one's you already had. There would be "consequences" and new "dept" to your established relations..

What they forgot to mention was that this is only the case for your ME1 options. Pretty much every ME2 option gets minimum screen time. I would almost think that is Bioware thought they would get away with scrapping those characters all together, they would have...

After finishing ME2, I replayed ME1 without any LI at all, just to make sure there would be no "consequences" in ME3 for "cheating". And no matter what kind of play-trough I was making with ME2, I always chose Jack as a LI. She just felt the most real, and really pulled my heartstrings.

Jack got a great new look in ME3, and her first impression was awesome. But after that, I got really disappointed with how minimal their effort was in fleshing out her character. And most of all I just dont understand. Why did they do this?

This is what everyone with a ME2 love interest want to know. It's like the Devs put so much time fleshing out the love story around VS and liara (especially liara), that they ran out of time to really do anything with everyone else.

go to profile -> forum settings and put %20 around the link for the sig (without the weird random spawing code)

Kahlee Sanders thinks swearing is unprofessional, so she doesn't let Jack swear. But she does let Jack wear a gauze-wrap top that shows her midriff, as well as the shape of her nipples. Jack doesn't like to cover up. She likes for her tattoos to be visible. But, it makes me wonder about who got Jack that job, how, and why. Did Shepard's buddies pull some strings? If not, how was she contacted? Did Jack put herself out there to the Alliance? What were her thoughts, in deliberating accepting the job? Whatever, I'm glad that Jack found something she loves to do.

Yeah, I'm glad she's found a positive goal through all the bull**** she's been through. I think Anderson might of pulled a few strings to get her in, knowing she worked with Shepard (hopefully he put in a good word, regardless of their relationship).

I don't think she went out looking for this specifically, but if and when the opportunity presented itself, she might of remembered moments on Pragia and when she heard about the alliance "starting up somewhere else". It might of clicked in her mind and since she definitely has a different outlook on life (at least from the way I view it after the SM), she probably thought "Hey, why the **** not?" "Shepard's a boy scout after all, might as well see what all this Alliance vibe is all about."
