Honestly guys..The way they treated Jack or lack there of left me even more depressed than the endings...
Is it all a popularity contest to Bioware? Why would they spend so much developing the character then just forget about it?

I think you need a shepard who didn't romance her to get the special dialogue for the squadmates.Rip The Reaper wrote...
Can anyone else NOT get the special squadmate dialog Jack has when you meet her in ME3???

They did this because fans of romances from ME1 made big fuss about how they are disappointed about lack of their romance option in ME2.And most of all I just dont understand. Why did they do this?
I don't think that should be a problem. She is the most powerful biotic of her times and this is school for biotics. Her boss looks like open-minded person and she saw that now Jack is reasonable and kind person. But, it makes me wonder about who got Jack that job, how, and why.

Really?
I think one of her employers ended up with a black eye for making it seem like they were following her. You know, like on Real Steel.

It seems that they hired people that reply for the most of twitts and they are taking notes what people ask for. They even ask to specify your feedback if they are not sure what you ask for. For example when I asked them for "more Jack" they asked " What sorts of scenarios would you like to see?".

The thing that kills me about Jack (and Miranda) is that there's SO much damn room on the Normandy, there's absolutely no reason why BioWare couldn't have set them up on the ship for the whole game.
There's also no reason why they couldn't have been squaddies, but I really don't see what would've been so hard about having Jack set up a base of operations on the ship. It just would've taken a little writing to explain it and VIOLA!

Aside from an ending fix, my next request would be to have more Jack in ME3.
I mean, I really just think they should do more with all of the LIs, and that would only mean they have to do Miri and Jack for the ME2 sqaud. Maybe give us some bonus mission or something where you have to do something with your LI, and they become a squaddie.

You could say that Kahlee Sanders and the Alliance were willing to drop their recruitment standards for Jack, because they knew the Reapers were coming, they knew Jack had first-hand experience dealing with Reaper monstrosities, and they needed those kids ready as soon as possible. Reckless, yeah, and possibly unethical, yeah. It's war.

There's not enough emotion. There's not enough time with Jack. There's no alone time with Jack. The total difference between all Jack friendship dialogue and all Jack romance dialogue is five lines and a Paragon interrupt. Everyone gets to dance with Jack, but dancing with her when she's romanced grants the Paramour achievement, which is almost insulting. Something is off with the voice direction, and not even Ms. Taylor could save it. Jack is apathetic about Shepard possibly dying, when the last time he risked dying, she came to him to pour out her emotions at him. Jack is apathetic about Shepard choosing to break up with her, and no dialogue afterward acknowledges her feelings of hurt, disappointment, anger, or betrayal. Shepard sounds completely uninterested in Jack. The Jack romance feels empty. It feels like it was given token treatment only.

My soul
Burns
With a fire of darkness
Quenched only in the pain
Of loneliness
I hold my breath waiting
Until spots appear black as the past
And fill my lungs up with lies of hope
I mark myself
Black and jagged
To cover the scars
That make me a monster
A warning
This is not a place of honor
No esteemed dead are buried here

I absolutely loved the reunion on Grissom Academy. Her re-design could not have ended up better IMO. Shep getting punched for leaving her to be locked down on Earth felt spot on for her character. Also the N7 tattoo was priceless. She seemed to have grown since ME2 which I liked.
But... then she just disappears. Thinking I would find her on the ship I went straight down to her old spot. Feeling pretty confused when she wasn't there... or anywhere on the Normandy. So yeah... huh. Okay, I guess. I was still very confident that I would get a lot more time with her later... that is... until I meet up with her at the bar and got the Rekindled Romance "achievement". What? I actually felt dumbfounded. All I could think was "Is that all there is?"
Afterwards I watch my favorite streamer play the game and I find out that there is almost no difference from having her befriended or romanced. Shepard still gets punched.
And when I reach to the point where I meet admirals of the Migrant Fleet. I find out Tali has become an admiral (which was a little cool). I never saw the final roster for the Squad so I was somewhat surprised Tali suddenly was an option (or requirement) for the missions thereafter. Then I finally united the Geth and Quarians and she was still on the ship. The century old conflict was over... but an admiral doesn't need to stay within the Migrant Fleet to prepare for the Reapers? Wut?
Why is it that an admiral can be selfish enough to ignore the Migrant Fleet and drop everything to fly with the Normandy but Jack can't do the same? Really? Then you ad up the ten second hologram on Earth. One word. Disappointed. The romance was just so lacking and unsatisfactory for me and obviously for everyone else here. Though the people who romanced Jacob and Thane really got the short end of the straw.
A lot of people here wrote more in depth on Jack so I'm not going repeat everything. But I got the feeling everyone felt the same way I do. Her presentation was spot on. We just want more of her, or a lot more you could say. Sadly, I would buy DLC that would address this issue. If it was done right of course. BioWare knows there is easy money to be made there.
Though I will confess that I romanced Miranda my first time through the second game. I realized during my second run that I should have chosen Jack all along. Yeah I know. She's just such a distinct character from all the rest IMO and the voice actress did a fabulous job with her!
I feel I have rambled on long enough. Thanks to anyone who took the time to read.

Thanks, I'm gonna use it, but I would prefer campaign DLC. It's hard to make post-campaign DLC when in most of endings Sheppard dies and even when he survive, he is almost dead. Also there is no to much to do after campaign - it's hard to imagine Sheppard going on any mission after he killed Reapers.
Yeah I'm hitting a mental block on direction for my Aftermath fic since the Reaper threat is gone. Having a few Reapers that were say in the Outer Rim or in an area not occupied by a Relay seems like a cop-out to keep the threat there though its now within limits to be less of a galatic threat. Making a sudden new enemy seems like I'm pulling some crappy Yuuzhan Vong invasion type move which is what I feel ruined the Star Wars novels for me.
So rebuilding the galaxy, maintaining the new alliances, eliminating Cerberus holdouts, keeping the Krogan and Rachni from conquering the galaxy are not enough to do?

At Grissom Academy, Jack says, "You could have stayed. Instead you went off to play soldier."
... stayed where? When? We're probably never going to find out, will have to rely on fanfiction, and that sucks. Did Shepard just send everyone off to do errands on Omega, then told Edi, "Earth Edi, now!"
Did Shepard drop off people in certain places, one at a time? Did Shepard sneak away? Leave a note for Jack? Did they argue about it?
Answers, damn it! Why don't we have ANY?

I think Jack was referring to the end of ME2, meaning Shep could've stayed with her, cruising the galaxy, etc.
Instead, he went back to earth to face the music.

Ooh. I would read the **** out of a fic that deals with any and all conversations between Jack and Shepard about him turning himself in.

Well, I've got nothing better to do, and I'm just about finishing a ME1 playthrough. I could take a crack at it, but it'd be a standalone fic.

Yeah, it's first time when after finishing the game, I just can't wait for a new DLC. For me DLC about Jack is even more important than fixed ending.

I'd love to read it.
How did their relationship change after Arrival? Was Jack just starting to get more comfortable with Shepard? Was Shepard slightly pulling away, becoming more distant, or vague whenever anyone brought up anything about the future? Did he tell her what he planned on doing and they argued about it? Did he send everyone off on Omega for groceries and then hightail it out of there, leaving only a note?
Did she try to contact him while he was locked up? Did she search the news for mentions of him? How long was it until the Alliance hit her up for teaching at Grissom academy? What did she do in the mean time?
Questions. Need. Any. Answers. Now.
