No no, it isn't incorrect. I only meant the quote itself is an intentional misquote of "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger". Intentionally misquoted as "stranger" for hilarity. So it's correct. That was why I called it a "misquote" instead of a misquote (sorry, sometimes I can be ambiguous).

I think you need to recheck your definition of what a psychopath is.

But you are right.
Jack is definitely not a psychopath.

Ah, yes, I guess I only referred to a small niche within psychopathy. I guess you don't have to be "crazy" to be a psychopath, but I don't see Jack fitting anywhere within psychopathy anyway.

I think the problem is the ME2 trailer, where she is called a psychopath, it's misleading and not true.
Jack is just a women who tries to cope with her longterm abuse.
But maybe they didn't know what to call her, in the trailer.
What would you have called her? One word, to describe Jack. Not easy ^^

So I'm doing my first playthrough with a Shepard who's all about rules and professionalism. He's not the biggest fan of Cerberus, but he doesn't lie awake at night worrying about working with the organization the way some of my other Shepards do. And he can't stand Jack's attitude (read: her lawlessness). Have you guys ever RP'ed a Shep who just didn't like Jack? Most of mine have either loved her, or been respectfully terrified of her.

All my Shep's love Jack, but most of them try to keep things professional between them or just friends, whichever way you want to look at it. Even my renegade/dick Shep's love her in there own messed up way.

Why does that look make her seem more dignified? Maybe because she does it so well...

That or reading the thread really has amped up the anxiety for an ME3 reveal for her.

It depends if she wants to. With the drugs and the permanent damage they caused along with everything else, and her lifestyle, it's basically up to Jack and a lot of effort/time.  It'd be a really interesting development to see as you're killing hoards of Reaper minions.

Well, even Jack says she's crazy, so it's probably a general term for her being a odd-ball, or describing the extraordinary way she "copes with her longterm abuse", as you stated. I would have called her "The Survivalist", cuz it's true and makes you think.

I'm sortof with Slotts, I can't not like Jack cuz I can't roleplay hating someone I like and vice versa. It's why I may never play a Cerberus lackey.

Oooh, I know. I loved Far cry 2 and am on the edge of my seat for numero 3! Admittedly, there are a few other upcoming games I have similar feelings for....like Skyrim and Gears 3

Jack is awesome. My main Shep stayed loyal to Ash, and I have one I plan to bring into 3 with Tali just because, but every other Male Shep (of which there are about 6) I play is with Jack. A friend of mine told me he hated Jack, I punched him in the face, lol, not really but I felt like it. She's a character that everyone who takes the time to get to know at least respects and most people will love. It is a rare thing to have a character in a video game you really have to work at to get to know and Jack is that, I love that she isn't a 'fan-girl' for the first human Spectre, like everyone else seems to be.
