My first playhtough I was almost certain Jack was coming aboard when Hacket did. It seemed to make since to me. She and her student squad was with the fleet. Thought I was gonna get that romance scene after all...It was depressing waking up in my bed alone before the Cerbers HQ mission :(

Exactly what I was thinking! If I were to have Jack DLC anywhere it'd be there, being the girlfriend of the first human spectre who is also a good friend of Hacket's would serve as enough pull in my book to allow her to spend the big night before D-Day w/Shep. Don't you think? What else would she do? Force Rodriguez to drink more juice??

At the very least there should be a picture of Shep's repective Li next to his/her bed. Alas... nothing of the sort.

See i wanted to see her too. But what i expected was too have a holocall with her when the normandy hooked up with the fleet. A real holo call where we both express our fears and feelings about this final battle and the hope of seeing each other gain etc.
That would have completed the relationship really well(including that holo call on earth)
But NO......

Just tweeted @masseffect and got "Thank you for the feedback! She's got quite a following! :)".

So apparently there are a lot of people who want more of this complex character.

The reply made me smile in any case :)

I plan on tweeting more. That's a great reply!

Just had funny idea for epilogue DLC if ending stands as is. They went all "against the grain" with endings, why not do something interesting with epilogue, like a fantasy sequence of how Shepard imagined his life would be like with his LI, in our case, Jack. My fantasy epilogue with them would be very Cowboy Bebop-ish ;p. I know it will never happen, but was a fun thought.

First, you must become friends with the Mondo.  Then, you may view her literature.

Oh, I love her mildly amused/pleased expression, and the attention you pay to the details of her face!  I love the way her nose is a different color than the rest of her face, it makes her look alarmingly adorable <3

EDIT: As for criticism, you appear to have excluded the faint freckling she has between her nose and her cheekbones.  Also, Jack's right eyebrow is styled in to three segments, and I can't tell if you've shown that.
EDIT x2: Jack appears to have lost her widow's peak in ME3.  Her hairline in the front is a straight line across.

Is this painted? or done on computer?  Either way its freaking awesome and Im jealous of your artistic ability.

Not really a criticism but am I the only one who wants to see the hair out of a pony tail?

So...I didn't exactly finish Mass Effect 3 again. I'm planning on doing it, but I don't think I'm gonna do it this weekend.

So I caught up on this Jack DLC convo going on right now. It's actually easily for me to come up with ideas, so I'm gonna try my hand at doing that for this.

Ok, so it was already talked about how it seems like Jack wouldn't separate from the students, seeing as they most likely need her. Doesn't Prangley lead the students if Jack's not there? I'm asking this because in order for Jack to NOT be there, I either have to kill her off in ME2 -- and f*ck that -- or start the game in ME3 as opposed to ME1, which I won't do. Personal preference.

But anyway, the idea I'm thinking of basically starts with that. All I need to know is if Prangley leads, and I'll brainstorm from there.

Separating Jack from her Biotic Bunch for some Jack-specific DLC is only as difficult as the game's writers want it to be.

She could hand them off to Kahlee Sanders for a couple weeks while she handles something too dangerous for them. Is that the option the writers would choose to go with? Who knows? That's the beauty of it... they're the writers, they do the heavy lifting, not us. That's why my DLC idea a few pages back was so simple: Jack becomes involved in some important plot that involves the war effort (Cerberus is the easiest antagonist because of her intertwined past with the organization, but obviously not the only option available). Jack wants/needs Shepard's help, they meet up, and then they go blow some stuff up, save the day, and get bizzay afterwards. Easy. Let the professionals fill in the blanks.

Alls I'm saying is that if Jack leaving her kids behind is the only hangup you have about Jack DLC, then you're not imagining hard enough, lol. Shoot, if they're so inseparable, make one or all the kids involved in the mission. Did you read all the datapads laying around Grissom? Cerberus was trying to abduct them. Have Cerberus abduct Prangley, he's obviously her star pupil, and have JackShep go rescue him. Problem solved.

Well sh*t, got there before I could. Heh.

Doesn't have to be super clear cut abduction, though. Like it just happens out of nowhere.

Unless, of course, the Alliance and C-Sec didn't root out all of the Cerberus moles left in the Citadel. In that case, the DLC should start immediately after the conversation with Jack. None of the students were with Jack, and assuming they were all on shore leave, just as she was...Yeah, maybe she just shows up somewhere else on the Citadel, probably on the Citadel (If not, wherever the students usually are) and is in the middle of being informed by Kahlee that Prangley wasn't among the students in attendance, or whatever. I'm guessing the first half of the DLC would be an investigation on the Citadel, if that were to go down.

thank you!

The freckles I'll be adding when I've smoothed out the textures a bit, I started blocking them in but apparently not dark enough heh (I can see them, but then  again, I put them there, so my brain is being all tricksy with me) and the segmented brow is there, but the hair strands are obscuring it,
As for the hair, I see what you mean, right now its just a blocked in blob of black, hoping to make the hair pop a little a with some highlights (I HATE painting hair... so tedious!) and the widows peak should be gone, most of it is just setting up for those first rows of hair that your scalp shows through when its pulled back (if that makes any sense at all)

I appreciate the feedback, everytime I ask my roomates or friends what they think, its always the same "oh, thats awesome!" response, which sure, is a nice little ego bumb, and I know they mean well but, its irritating as all hell heh.

Jack is my very favorite female character in the ME universe, I'm a little a ticked with how the romance played out (I WANTZ MOAR!), but I do appreciate the character development and the exagerated PDAs were fun ^_^

Now if Bioware can just fix the endings already, I can go back to liking ME3 and give Jack that post-reaper massacre lay she was looking forward too. (which my Shep was also looking forward to... screw saving the everyone in the galaxy, he's doing all this for some hot, bone-breaking biotic nookie!)

It's both actually ;), painted from scratch in photoshop CS4 with my old (but trusty and scratched to all hell) Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet.

I'm also curious as to what she would look like with her hair down... I guess I could mock it up for you guys if you're interested.

And thanks for the compliment!

Edit: Because I'm apparently allergic to apostrophes *sigh*.
