The only interesting squad mate in ME3 was Javik. And he was DLC.

Sadly I didnt even find Javik that interesting. Sure the Prothean's naturally ability to "feel" their surroundings was interesting but as a character I found Javik really lacking in any redeeming qualities on my first play through with him. Though I guess I cant fault the guy for being a bit of an ass seeing how long he was in stasis to be woken up again, his race destroyed, and the same Reaper threat looming to wipe out life just as it was when he went into stasis. EDI was amusing some times but after I played with her in the white outfit and got the visual of certain...well... certain things that make Miranda's ass comments tame I couldnt really use EDI anymore. Though it certainly explained Joker's attitude a bit more. :D

For me ME2 is the best in the series. The character development just trumped the entire story. It was fun getting together the rag tag team and kicking ass. If ME3 had all the squaddies from ME2 it would easily be the best in the series. But alas bioware failed. If they couldn't keep up with all the characters they shouldn't of created so damn many!!!

I just hope we will see someone interesting in ME4. I didn't like team in ME3. Garrus was cool, but I had real problem to choose second squadmate because all of them were "meh".

I've always really liked Liara and Tali as well as Garrus, so I typically took them along with me. I don't really care about James...it's not that I dislike him, I just found I never really connected with his character in any way. Ashley -- I've never liked her. Even from ME1.

I do wish we got to take Wrex and Grunt with us, they were my favourite characters after Jack.

To be honest, I LIKE 90% of the ME characters who are your squadmates across the 3 games. The only ones I've never really found myself interested in were James, Kaidan, Ashley and Jacob. They just felt like they had boring back-stories and fairly lifeless personalities.

The problem with James and Jacob is we need to access other non-core game material to get more insight into their backgrounds. Sadly things like Mass Effect Galaxy are on iOS products only that limited access to them, or not everyone is reading the comics. Hell as of Feb '12, they stopped selling ME Galaxy on the App store, so if you didnt get Jacob's backstory game you cant get it now. Not sure if there are any plans to re-release it or not.

Try as I might though I cant really like Kaidan or Ashley despite 5 years of play and further interaction through ME3 now. I am at least willing to let Ashley survive a few save files though now, as before I normal would send her off to die pretty much every time.

haha. good!

I'm thinking about making a Shepard to romance her again. IDK what happened to my Jack save. lol

I really loved her character development in ME3 the look, her being a teacher now, thinking of the students as family, etc while still keeping her same attitude and personality that make her so awesome in ME2. (Wish the Ashley writers would have taken note of how you do character development)

It's actually been one of my favorite missions of the game so far now that I had Jack in it (didn't have her in my first playthrough).

Hey guys. The new chapter is up, with a massive chunk of Jackness at the end. Please, let me know what you think.

If you like, I could post the Jack scene here.

Fainmaca Out.

The Jack scene was epic!! You write her so well, and she's such a badass. I laughed out loud at what she did to Shepard at the end of the fight. Sure is something Jack would say/do, lmao! I'm looking forward to more scenes between them. Keep it up!!

I was listening to a compilation of the lines all the characters have for the dream sequences, and I didn't hear a single line from Jack.  Does she even have any lines for those sequences?

Thanks! That scene physically exhausted me, as I was pacing around the room so much while trying to figure out how to write it down. After I was done, my brain was mush. Currently on a couple of days' break while I recover.

Haha, I can imagine! I wonder how you do it, I can barely put an English sentence together. Have you thought of writing an original novel? You sure have the passion and the skill for writing epic stories.

Visii is trying to round up thoughts on how people felt about the romances in ME3. What they liked, what you think could or should be improved through DLC.

http://social.biowar.../index/10853184

I contributed a little while ago. I talked of course about Jack in my letter - I'm posting in this thread aren't I :P Well I do think we should do what we can to make our voices heard. I have had a twitter account since last year but I only started using it a little over a week ago. Goes to show how strongly I felt about the issue we all have. If BioWare really says they are listening to their fans then I guess I'm going to find out this year. I have never in my life felt as compelled to get my voice heard to a game company like now, which feels a little weird, have to admit.

English is not my native tongue, even though I feel I write better in english... funny. But I certainly hope BioWare reads what I wrote. I can't say it would hurt if any one of you do the same because these letters are going straight to BioWare this coming PAX.

It doesn't take long to write. So I urge you all to do it.

Perseverance, mostly. Plus an intense love for everything to do with this franchise up until the Arrival DLC. I am currently sitting on a novel I plan to finish writing and publish, but I need to make room in my head to work on it. currently there's too many images of what will happen in this fic for me to do any other projects. Got plenty more Jack scenes coming up I really want to get to writing.

This is just another reminder, to all those who romanced a ME2 LI.

We're gathering together feedback about the romances and presenting it at PAX! So, have something to say about the way Jack/Thane/Miranda/Jacob/Samara was treated? Wish you could have seen more of them? Didn't like how the romance turned out?

Send me a PM and your letter will be printed out and presented!

This is your chance to be heard!

Listened again to the holo-conversation with Jack at the end of ME3.  She sounds scared and worried, which is revealing.  Jack has to appear badass at all times.  It carries over in to the romance-specific line, too, where her choice of words serves to make her sound apathetic, but the line as a whole has a personal sound to it.  It definitely wouldn't have worked if Ms. Taylor hadn't been doing the voice acting.

Bioware doesn't care about Jack people.

The ME2 squad had the coolest characters they had so much depth to them that the only ME1 squadie to compaire was Wrex.

Bioware don't care about any ME2 people except Miranda and Mordin people, and the former people continue to act like that got treated the worst in ME3. It reminds me a lot of Miri's self-centered additude that made me hate her so much.

Jack's new look was great, I loved the detail in her Scars on her head and across her  throat,  and down the back of her neck. It was so wicked. I wished I could tell her "I'm back Jack, and I've come to take you home with me. Ya want to go to our bedroom on the Normandy?"

The Lack of Romanced Jack content stopped me from importing my Shep that was with her. That Shep had romanced Ash in ME1 and cheated on her in ME2 with Jack. I was hoping for some tension and lots of drama between Ash and Jack in ME3,  until I'd discoved talking with Ash was the most dullest thing ever, it took the Zaeed/Kasumi conversastions to an ultimate low.

I'd now be happy with this showdown between Jack and Ash. Something where I could say something like "Enough this is how we settle this, you two fight to the death, no firearms allowed got it?"
Ash goes to open her month in protest but nothing comes out,  Jack hits her with a biotic blast and pink mist sparys everywhere as Ash gets smeared on the walls by Jack.
Jack walks over and says "Thanks, that was fun, even though you made it one sided extremly fun"

Ash always stayed in the same part of the Normandy and did nothing. The Normandy wouldn't loss anything if Jack painted the walls with Ash,  it would only gain greatness.

I would add Legion. But I'm not sure if Miranda was treated right. Her fans are rather disappointed.

But overall I agree with you. :) I hoped for some action between Jack and other LI, even tho I'm not a fan of dramas like that. I just would love to see how Jack would handle this. Actually I would like to see Jack in many difficult situations, just to learn about her personality as much as I can. :)
