One thing I've been doing a lot of since beating ME3 was having ideas pop into my head...story revisions, things they could've done that would've been better for the story. One of them is introducing important characters as early as possible, to ensure we spend as much time with them as we want to.
What do you guys think if one of the Cerberus sidequests in ME1 (and they all should have had this level of importance) introduced Jack? Maybe you stumble across her destroying it and you can either team up and help her take Cerberus out, or take her out and send her to jail. I suppose if you're super Renegade, you could even kill her. Yeah, that would work too, since in this revised version of Mass Effect, we'd want our choices to have bigger impacts.
I'm posting this because Jack should've gotten more content. Just in ME3, she seemed like a fun character. Imagine if they had developed that over the course of 3 games.

Same here. And to be honest, I think that's about as much as we can realistically expect (the idea of Jack of becoming a full-fledged squadmate was, frankly, always going to be unfeasible, I think). And for me, a Jack-centric DLC wouldn't even have to be as lengthy as Lair of the Shadow Broker (which is honestly ridiculously long and introduces several new characters, locations, achievements, upgrades and gameplay mechanics, which I'm sure must have ballooned up the cost of making the DLC). I'd be fine with, like, a mission of regular length - say, 20-30 minutes - with Jack as a squadmate (or at the very least, a major player), then some catch-up on the Normandy.KingNothing125 wrote...
I would accept a LotSB-style DLC mission (of appropriate length) where she's your temporary companion like Liara in LotSB, and more Citadel encounters.
(Hell, I'd be fine with no mission and just catch-up on the Normandy, but I doubt a lot of people would be willing to purchase that)
If something like that happened, it'd be fun if they rejigged Jack's powers a bit. The returning squadmates from ME2 (Garrus, Tali and Liara) all had the same three powers they had there plus a new one, but ME3 Liara already has Warp Ammo, so maybe switch Jack's for something else. Something like Slam would fit, but Javik already has it.

After reading a bit o' Weekes's twitter, I've come to the conclusion that it'd be damn near impossible to introduce a new general-use squad member. Which, I mean, kinda eradicates the whole "Javik wasn't planned" deal, but more importantly - Jack'll never be on my Normandy?! Aww man.
General-use squad member? What? Can you explain your post, please?
Ah, sorry. What I meant was "full squad member," rather than a temp one. But I'd actually be fine with a temporary arrangement, come to think of it. We can always hope!

I'd give her Biotic Dome, both as a tip of the hat to her doing the biotic bubble in ME2 and her squad's support role in ME3. Evolving it so that enemies entering the bubble automatically have warp cast on them can set up tons of biotic explosions it can also be turned into a more defensive power.
As for abilities:
- Pull
- Biotic Dome
- Warp Ammo
gotta throw shockwave in there or else she wont be able to detonate her own combos

i wish bioware would do something, even if it was a prequel mission as given the ending, i cant see it happening any other way, or maybe they could reinvent the cannon, no well then i will live in my head.
XD
to sum up WE NEED MORE JACK!

She has D E A T H tattooed on her fingers. She should take the E or the A and get a tat that spells out "shEpard" or "shepArd" that loops around her finger like a ring.
What? Too cheesey?lol
This was obviously before we knew about the N7 on her butt, but still... I like the sappy gesture
I was reminded of a few days ago, when we were talking about how the letters are backwards on her left hand because the artists just mirrored her hand texture and how, in-universe, DEATH is probably not mirrored. That means the ring finger on her left hand has a T on it, so making a tattoo ring out of "Shepard" wouldn't work.
Luckily, my Jack Shepard's first name is Anthony. She could get that tattooed on her ring finger, or even just "Tony".
Headcanon, make it so.

I'm unconvinced that she'd get something like the N7. She gets tattoos as representations of pain loss and triumph, almost as a defiant gesture of 'I survived this, and you can't do sh!t about it'. Unless she really thought she'd lost Shepard, I can't imagine she'd get inked for him. getting inked for the Collectors, yes. getting inked for slaughtering Cerberus mooks, or nuking Pragia, yes. But unless she thought Shepard had truly turned on her or he'd been killed, she wouldn't get one for him.
idk i think i can see her tattoos as symbolizing moments that had an impact in her life both good and bad. and a romance with Shepard could qualify as being significant enough chapter in her life to warrant getting a tattoo

I disagree, remember her talk about the tattoos, when she said some of none of your business - that might not necessarily relate to something negative, like pain and loss. There must of been some positive influence somewhere throughout her life, regardless of it being a person or something else - maybe when she was around a deserted place and saw no trace of life, but then in the distance, is a single flower blooming.
It could be many things.

(It's not like there always has to be a ritualistic justification for the process by which she decides to get tattooed or what tattoos to get, though. She does say that she gets some tattoos because "why the **** not?", and she also offers to pay for her kids getting inked after Grissom Academy. I think it's safe to say that she does get some tattoos just because she likes them or wants to)
I actually really like the fact that she got an N7 tattoo instead of something like Shepard's name, because I think it sort of fits the idea of Jack as a character who expresses what she feels overtly, but not explicitly. So something like an N7 tattoo is about Shepard, but not about Shepard. If that makes sense.

Ugh, Christ. I'd forgotten how well Mondo47 writes Jack. The reproduction of Jack's voice and personality is perfect and total.KingNothing125 wrote...
I disagree, respectfully of course. Kills and stuff like nuking Teltin are indeed ink-worthy, but I think romancing Shep is a life-changing event for her. "I survived this and you can't do sh*t about it" absolutely is important to her, but what about "This changed me, and I want to remember it"? I mean, look at her in ME3. All being responsible with kids and Alliance regs (though the uniform regs, not so much) and junk... Shep changed her life (and it's even possible she actually loves the ******... maybe the first time that's ever happened). Something that big and important might be worth the epidermal realestate.
I like this story about her tats.

Ain't it? I'm sad Mondo isn't around anymore, 'specially since I wasn't around when all her stuff was new, lol. It was only a month or so ago that I even discovered her blog at all. It's great. I love the stories about their kid, Miranda
