The old Jackolytes said that Bioware ought to hire her to write Jack.  ^_^

You know, you jest, but I always did get the impression that, past the initial conversation where Jack asks you if you have feelings for her, practically all of the dialogue options that led to breaking up with her made Shepard sound like a complete and utter tool. I mean, what he says if you break up with her after you have her locked in as your love interest? That "You're tough, Jack, you don't need me" thing? I always thought that sounded so damn smarmy and condescending, and it only gets worse from there.

It's weird, too, because with practically all other love interests (except for, I think, Jacob) Shepard at least seems to make some attempt at tact, at letting them down easy. Not so with Jack. Guy just sounds like an ass, and I think it may have been deliberate. Sort of a not-so-subtle way for the devs to let you know that you really have to be a tool to string Jack along and then drop her in midair like that. I mean, it's a crap thing to do to anyone, but to Jack, specifically? Who has so much trouble trusting and getting close to people? Yeah, I do kinda think they wanted you to feel like a turd for doing that. So they made you sound like one.

Agreed. You are a limited edition bastard if you dump Jack, or worse yet, turn her away before the Suicide Mission. You've successfully torn down the Great Wall of Jack and promptly trample her feelings like some rampaging Mongol horde. That wall is going right back up, twice as tall, twice as thick, and reinforced with spikes and landmines and patrolling guards.

Unf. Unf everywhere. She definitely looks Natalie Portman-esque in those pictures.

EDIT: Ah, that would explain it.  She uses Natalie Portman, Sinead O'Connor and Keira Knightley as her models.

Hey, any regulars in this thread we can talk to?

The Miranda thread is doing a campaign called #FindMiranda and we are sending posters to BioWare a la "Where is Miranda?" Priestly tweeted that he's willing to accept it on BW's behalf and we've got one of the Community Managers participating in our group. Jack's one of my favorite characters and I came up with #GetJacklaid and I'm pretty sure you guys know why.

Let me know if you guys wanna team up!

What's more amazing about those two pictures is that apparently the artist did them on an iPad. Mind, blown. lol

Haven't seen Courtenay Taylor mention anything about returning to record lines for the EC. Doesn't mean she isn't, but, as it is now, none of the new ME2 squadmates' VAs have mentioned returning to record lines for the EC.

I gotta say, I think I'd be a bit surprised if creating more content involving Miranda (in some way, shape or form) wasn't in the cards even prior to all the hoopla about the endings and the ME2 love interests. You can sort of tell: the devs really, really like Miranda (though I think it is a bit ironic that they made her so easy to kill in ME3, considering it was practically impossible to do in ME2).

If you guys are interested, I know some of the old Jacolytes have heard my work, but here you go:

http://social.biowar...7180/1#11947180

I wrote a few songs for Jack from different occasions in the game, from first meeting her, her romance scene, what lies in the future, Shepard shaping her in ways she never expected, etc. I'm planning to write one more, but I've been busy with work and need to get my guitar fixed :(

I know, she had one of the best potential lines for it too...

"If I die, I'm haunting you, Shepard!!"

WTF Bioware? :pinched: <_< :(

Because I get the feeling that resource allocation for Jack's character in ME3 was all over the place.

That would make me 100% unsatisfied with the EC, then.

Not asking for any crazy additions, but if Jack isn't in the EC for a Shep that romanced her then I couldn't care less.  I hate the StarChild, but if the emotional closure was good enough, I'd be able to overlook it.

Without Jack, that emotional closure won't happen.

Even if she appeared but was unvoiced?  What about if she appeared in still-image epilogue "plates"?  Or was mentioned by a narrator?
