Shepard's Flasback
An image of Liara flashes in Shepard's vision
Jack: (suddenly appears) What the ****'s going on?!
Shepard: Jack? What are you doing here?
Jack: Not really here ******, I'm a figment of your subconscious. Y'know the part that wants to know what the hell little miss blue over there is doing in your final thoughts?
Shepard: I'm dying?
Jack: How the hell should I know? You're the moron that decided to listen to a reject from some stupid sci-fi vid.
Shepard: I have no idea why Liara popped into my head Jack.
Jack: You ever think that she ****ed something up while she was screwing around inside your head?
Shepard: Shouldn't my subconscious be showing me how much I love the real Jack?
Jack: Look buddy, you're possibly going to kick the bucket and you're thinking of some other chick. Real Jack isn't here to kick your ass so I'm the next best thing.
Shepard: I must be going insane.
Jack: Don't think so, you're weird Shepard not crazy.

Man how much I love that kind of inner monologue. Some of the best "going out with a bang" scenes I can remember are introduced by that kind of dialogue... one of the greatest moment in Deadpool history, IIRC, was played just like that back in the days when Kelly was making the character unforgettable (late 90s).
I would gladly assist to something like that instead of thos black-and-white cheesy flashbacks... and if they don't fix those pictures it'll be ridicolous that Shepard was thinking of Liara in his dying moments no matter what were your choices. What if you have a Shepard that actually can't stand Liara and hated her with all his heart during all the damn trilogy?

You don't get to roleplay it that Shepard dislike Liara. It's just one of those things that the game doesn't let you do. Like, Shepard has to be human. Shepard has to be N7. Shepard has to be 30-ish. Shepard has to like Liara. You have to resort to headcanon to get Shepard to tell Liara to **** off. <_<

Love this, I pictured this scene perfectly in my head, bahaha. Just picturing the look on her face. Send this to Bioware!

Well in Mass Effect 3, using a Renegade dialogue choice every time she comes in your cabin without asking at least keep her at bay and doesn't give an uncomfortably amount of space to her relationship.
Fact is, I don't mind Liara-Shepard's friendship, but the forced relationship become far too much in ME3, when Shepard is under a lot of stress and she keep pretending to be there to cheer him up. It's ok for Shepard to be N7/human and 30-ish, those are indispensable features for the story (face it, all those 20-something looking FemShep out there are sincerely out-of-character for a war vet), but why force Liara's friendship/romance? It doesn't make sense to let you chose how your Shepard react to 95% of the people he met only to force on you one single relationship.
Jesus, in ME3 you can kill Wrex and Mordin but you can't tell Liara to stay in her freakin room.

Just because Cortney Taylor can't say anything doesn't mean she isn't lending her voice. Although I am getting a feeling from her twitter than she hasn't gone up to Canada to do any voice work yet. (I hope I'm wrong)

Yes, I was speculating, but it is suspicious to me that Ms. Taylor said that she can't say anything regarding the EC, while the VAs of ME1/ME3 squadmates have explicitly mentioned that they're returning to record lines. Also, none of the VAs of the other ME2 characters have mentioned returning to record lines. Again, suspicious, speculation, and my pessimism acting up.
EDIT: I'll say it now, I played the ME games for the characters, not the gameplay or the plot. I wasn't satisfied with what I received of my favorite characters in ME3, and if the EC doesn't address them at all, I'll be passing on it and all future Bioware content. Not that Bioware should feel threatened by this, just saying it.

I just don't like that the ME1 and 3 squad are able to tweet about their work, but ME2 doesn't. Sort of how the upcoming trailers were before ME3 came out. There was barley any mention of them coming back, but a few short clips during the last trailer, but I understood why at that point - I'm just relating it to what is happening now, concerning the EC.
Hopefully she will be, but I'm not putting my expectations up for that content.
I'd say she's going to be back. But then again I'm being optimistic considering that Patrick Weekes and John Dombrow are the one's spearheading the Extended Cut instead of Mac and Casey. I'm also hoping that Bioware's presentation at Comic Con will have a teaser for the DLC, or maybe a teaser for some new DLC:
Shepard: (over radio) Hey Jack, not to rush you or anything but some barrier support would really help right now!
Jack: 'Case you didn't notice there's a ****ing Reaper in our way!
Shepard: Can't you just punch through it?!
Jack: Oh sure, a Reaper's the same thing as a bunch of crappy security mechs! Do you want me to pull a couple of 'em out of the goddamn sky while I'm at it?
Shepard: (sarcastically) That'd be great!
Garrus: Sounds like someone's sleeping on the couch tonight.
Shepard: Can it Vakarian.

Interesting though how Bioware have gone from making Mass Effect which won OXM's Best ending of the year in 2007, to creating Mass Effect 3 which had such a horrific response that they have had to redesign the ending.

The EC content has been indicated to just add closure to the ending of ME3 and Courtenay Taylor has not said anything about any more ME studio work so don't get your hopes up for spending more time with Jack or even hearing her voice.

They're clarifying the ending, not redesigning it. And Bioware has tried to pass off the controversy regarding the ending as a selling point. They're laughing all the way to the bank.

Going from having him and Mac Walters working together to just having Mac as lead writer really changed the way the game's story was told. If you look at his work with Mass Effect: Evolution he's pretty good at starting a story but once you get towards the end it just seems like he's in a rush to tie up plot points so he can finish the story.

They are redesigning the ending to include “additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes.”. It's Bioware's hope that it will add clarity, but if it does or not will only be determined when it's released.

No, you're not the only one, but this is what we got. A polished turd is still a turd, but...this is what we got.

ME1 and 2 had Drew Karpyshyn as one of the lead writers. He worked on KOTOR , Jade Empire, and was also responsible for the earlier ME novels. He had a pretty good idea for an ending but left Bioware after TOR was finished.

The Dark energy ending was far better than the space magic ending (or "polished turd" if you're Bromanov) we got left with, but Jack still wouldn't get laid after.

Me too. What makes ME2 unique for me, as I said before, is the fact that the characters work so great that you can't find a flaw in the entire game. They're all so damn awesome that even Jacob makes his own blandness "his thing". The whole concept was so good it changed my way to approach videogames permanently.
It's ironic that they wanted something more "intimate" in ME3 and ended up using more shallow characters that made the Normandy looks far less "home" than in ME2. I played 5 times in a row ME2 in like two weeks last year, because even hearing the same lines again and again from the characters were so satisfying, while I'm currently playing my first Insanity walktrough in ME3 and I have the game since the release date.
Also, it's no coincidence that even the best ME3 Priority Missions involves lots from ME2 characters: Mordin on Tuchanka and Legion on Rannoch.
To cut it short: EC needs to add something to ME2 LIs (at this point, a scene without lines could work, even if it wouldn't be much), but then we need some more ME2-centered DLC dammit.

Awesome as always. Are you good with pencils/tablets too? It would be so great to see these lines becomes comic strips. (It would be better to see this in the actual game, but there's still hope for something like that)
