well that revaluation is all kinds of heartbreaking, maybe she could have like a secret stash somewhere on a far off moon. but on a happier note....biotic airdrop FTW, good thing Shepard didnt accidentally get spaced again that wouldve be awkward lol

I see the scenes in my mind, and then I write them. ;) Glad you liked it. now i just need to convince Bioware to expand/remake ME3 and add this scene in.... plus every other scene about Jack that I've written.

well for what its worth "Into The Unknown" is probably the best Jack fics i've ever read (only "Things Worth Keeping" has the same level of Jack pure awesomeness) and IS the best overall Mass Effect experience you can have in pure literature form while still having those same feeling of i had while playing Mass Effect 2.

with that said reading that near zero gunfight in "The Eye..." i think your Shepard should invest in a Dead Space 2 RIG, with that he'll never have to worry about losing his footing and breathing in space...althought he might wanna avoid crazy dudes with screwdrivers

Edit: speaking of which it would of been pretty awesome to have had a Dead Space 2 and Mass Effect 3 little cross brand promotion thing like they did with Dragon Age and Kingdoms of Amalur. i mean it makes alittle more sense then the others to me atleast

Agreed "Into the Unknown" Is basically awesomeness reincarnated in word form. I am rather impatiently waiting for the next part lol. No rush though

You guys are insatiable! I gave you Krogan Battlemech vs Indoctrinated Yahg. KROGAN BATTLEMECH VS INDOCTRINATED YAHG! How much more do you want? Posted Image

I'm sure I'll find a way to work it in. Just need to get an opportunity to have Shepard receive the tech.

u also gave us the a fight with the mother of all thresher maws before i had even heard of Kalros ^_^. your a pioneer my friend im sure any new game mechanics added to ME3 you've either thought of or better implement into your story as you see fit.

but i think im allittle hyped up on the omniblade cause i just did the Cerberus Assault and killed Kai-Leng by cloaking up behind him and b***h slapping his ass with my omniblade

I was surprised when I watched that trailer only days after publishing the chapter with the All-Thresher. Another coincidence is that I have a massive device planned for later in the story that I was going to call the Crucible (But its nowhere near as lame, or contrived) I may need to change the name, though the concept of the object will remain the same. I just don't want it to be dragged down by the lameness of the canon article.

As for the omni-blade... I prefer the omni-shield, TBH. It lets me do stuff like Grunt's airdrop in chapter 27. everyone should crush an enemy soldier with their shield by dropping from a great height at least once.

Plus bear in mind that shep had a blade on his battlemech, way back on Tuchanka.

yea nothing says hello like 2ton krogan and hits 12ft energy shield lol. i kind of like the idea of a using the omni-tool like a gauntlet. sort of like punching someone in the face with overload or incinerate lol

i wish they had gone with the dark energy plot cause even discounted they horrible ending we got it just seems like a waste of a good plot. and since ive done abit of research and fiction involving dark energy so that whole premise appeals to me infinitely more then a space magic kid

and since we havent mentioned Jack in a couple of posts, from reading the last of part 2 of "The Eye.." after the biotic air drop and listening to "The Long Walk", i feel like if she were in the game id want her to have something similar to the asari justicars biotic bubble in multiplayer. but implemented in a way were it wont be stuck just beign a defensive only power. maybe be able to drop it on a targets head like stasis but it balances out abit by not freezing enemies

I have a question.

During my first ME3 playthrough Miranda died because in ME2 I played a Paragrade and was unable to make her loyal again after siding with Jack. I found out that's because Miranda always dies if she was not loyal in ME2.

I'm going to replay ME2 again soon, and I'm wondering if the same happens to Jack (her dying in ME3 if she was not loyal in ME2)

I played a ME3 career where I pissed off Jack in ME2 just to see what happens. There are 0 consequences for it. Everything plays out just like loyal non-romanced Jack.

Thanks! I guess I'll have to side with Miranda this time in order to get both Miranda and Jack alive by the end of ME3.

seeing those pictures in the sub deck reminded me of a conversation i had with someone bout the tone of the games. just a minor observation that ME3 has a more somber tone and ME2 is abit more vibrant. which in effect shows with Jack, her original appearance has her tats are more vivid and eye catching while now their more in the background sort of speak and modest i guess would be the word. i appreciate the look they went for the ground the game in a kind of realism but i prefer the my Jack in all her glory, tan and colorful lol

I'm hoping to see this face in Shepard's flashback (if Bioware decides to fix that), plus some future content with Shepard involving himself in her old "room" aboard the Normandy -

I'd love to hear Jack's thoughts about this sudden turn of events in her life, how she went from being a notorious criminal, to being one of Shepard's chosen. Years ago, if you told her she'd be saving millions of human lives by going on a suicide mission with the Savior of the Citadel, she'd probably sock you one. And if you told her, at the height of her criminal career, that she'd eventually date the galaxy's biggest Boy Scout, she'd probably laugh in your face.

I totally second this, even if it's more probably that they will use a ME3 screenshot if they're gonna change the flashback.

Well, she have a couple of breath-taking smiles in ME3, after all. I wonder if someone got some great screenshots from ME3 as well. With 5 minutes of screentime, it's not much of a search after all... sigh.

This is her best ME3 smile.  She looks very happy and hopeful.

That was one of the things I was expecting in ME3, especially because of what she's been through/represents compared to the other crewmates.  The way she's changed in such little time and how drastic, it makes me wonder how she deals with it.  Just seeing her smile more makes me really curious.  I bet she's come up with a bunch of nicknames for all her students, plus the teachers, haha.

"**** Shepard,  I don't know how you do it, it's hard to show a smile with all the **** that's happening around the galaxy."

I love that, though I still wish the later scenes weren't so focused on the physical aspect, but we've already discussed that.

I think that look right there would be perfect for her flashback scene as well.
