That is...a lot sooner than I expected. I fully thought (hoped might be a more accurate term, perhaps) that it would be coming at some point in August or September. Now I'm not quite sure what to expect. But then, I suppose I never was.

I checked with a moderator, we can discuss the chances of Jack getting into EC here...they are mainly focused on keeping EC discussion in the General discussion and spoiler story discussion in the sticky.

So, I feel like Cartman did waiting for the Wii...except I am passing around saying come'on...come'on...Give us Jack..give us..JACK!!!

I do think we have a good shot of getting at least a silent scene of jack...or maybe we will hear about what happens to her after everything goes down...the new head of Grimsom academy possibly...

There's this, but, considering the short time of the EC's development, I don't think we'll receive a scene with her.  Maybe we'll get an epilogue slide voiced by Ms. Taylor.

Truth be told I could live with an epilogue slide of her. I found that fan created epilouge slide with her very satifsying. It reminded me of that famous WWII picture of the salior and nurse.

Hey guys, just asking a favour - if possible can anyone record or let me know in this thread if there is any Jack content in the EC? My disc one broke and I don't really care to get it fixed (shows how much ME3 means to me, compared to 1 and 2, lol). I'd just love to know if Jack gets a concluding ending (doesn't necessarily be happy or sad)

I'll just throw out a guess...
We'll get some cut scenes to show who lived/died through the final push on Earth...probably general to ALL ME2/3 squad members.
And if we're lucky they'll have some scene where the LI's/squad that are on Earth *not the Normandy* may even go rescue Shep if he did the whole 'stay alive' thing.  Have the 'wistful' scene with some more piano music if he died.

Naturally, I would wish for more, but I'd settle for that.

It would be nice to get some sort of reunion with Shepard, though. Even if it's just a 4-second long cutscene or something.

We really ought to have started a #FindShepardintherubble campaign.

EDIT: Also pulling for Jack's face showing up in the flashback. The thing is 1.9 GB in size. Couldn't be that difficult to sneak in something like that, yeah?

Hudson mentioned the ~2 gigs of the EC as if they were restricted in what they could do.  And they were, because he explicitly says they had to keep it at or below 2 gigs because it's the limit for DLC uploads to the 360 marketplace (that itself bothers me, but whatever).  What I'm trying to say is, I'm not hopeful for little things for little characters, because the bigger stuff for the bigger plot (and bigger characters) had to fit first in to the 2 gigs. EDIT: So, it wasn't a matter of, "We've done everything we want to do, and, oh look!  It just happens to be 2 gigs", it's, "We gotta fit everything in 2 gigs".

Shouldn't be a reunion with the ME2 squad with the Normandy ME3 rejects actually.  Me2 squad is divided into fighting on the ground in Earth or being up in the fleets *Kasumi/Jacob*.  I wouldn't want it any other way...

Apparently the EC material is going to start kicking in even before you get to Earth (I honestly expected it to start after the ending cutscenes that are in the game now. I wonder how that's gonna work). My guess is that picture might be from a scene of the squad remembering the fallen before heading back to Earth (and if so, Christ do I hope there's something for Thane in there).

Far as Jack goes...some sort of epilogue is very, very likely, I think, especially if the epilogues are text (a la the ones you saw in Dragon Age: Origins). Cutscene material is trickier. Like I said, I could see her face showing up in the flashbacks, perhaps. Some silent cutscenes, if we're lucky. Sure would be nice to get, at least, like one damn line or something. At least a "Shepard..." or whatever. I'm not picky.

You know, speaking of flashbacks, I've been thinking off and on for a while that a good way (at least, I think it's a good way) to get around the fact that some love interests aren't around for them to feature in things like love scenes near the end of the game would have been to have...flashback scenes. It probably sounds weird, I know, but think of it. It would've been a nice and easy way to feature a love scene with Jack or Miranda or Thane or Kelly (or, uh, Jacob, I guess) prior to the raid on Cerberus HQ without messing up the plot/structure of the game up to that point. Just have Shepard reminisce about some night or other he/she spent with an absent love interest at some point (could be from a point after ME2 but prior to Arrival, for instance) before going to bed and having the third nightmare. Hell, they could've had Jack in her ME2 look or something.

It's a thought, anyway.

I'm sick of feeling like I messed up because I chose Jack and now wake up to a depressingly empty bed. it's like the game is beating me over the head with a sign that says 'You done f**ked up.'

meh...I dident need a sex scene ...a holo call with a Damn convo wheel would have been fine and dandy.
Also you dident **** up..everybody else who did not take the time to find out how awesome and deep Jack is as a character ****ed up.

Yeah, it's kind of...I mean, I wouldn't say the game is telling you that you screwed up, per sé.Hell, at least Jack is a full-fledged Paramour, just as she was in ME2. The poor Jacob and Thane people got shafted beyond horribly in this regard.

But there is a kind of...jarring disconnect in the way that some of the scenes that would feature romance content (if you had an aboard-the-Normandy love interest) play out with a Shepard who romanced Jack or Miranda (I suppose we could mention Thane here, as well). For all intents and purposes, Shepard is essentially portrayed as being single, excepting the fact that he's unwilling to flirt or romance other characters. It would've been nice if they'd striven for a happy medium of sorts between Forever Alone Shepard and Snuggling With Love Interest Shepard.

I always thought the "staring at the picture of the ME1 love interest" scene from ME2 was exceedingly touching and tastefully done. Something like that in ME3 would've been nice.

Well my Shep will be sticking to his guns on synthesis as the best solution, so a touching romantic reunion won't happen. But I will be looking forward to seeing how they conclude the romance arc with Shepard KIA.

I plan to take over anything that I think they fall short on in this new ending by writing an epilogue FF piece. I was about to start on it a couple days ago, but I'll wait it out to see what they do/change.
