I always found that scene where Traynor pipes up and gives the location to Sanctuary a bit...well, awkward. The whole exchange with Shepard ("Let's prioritize and fight Cerberus now. So, uh, anybody in this room know where they are?" "Um, over there" "BRILLIANT LET'S GO")...it's a bit silly, the way it flows. That could've used a bit more development, I feel.

The unintentional comedy scale is off the charts for that scene. I think if Shepard had actually asked Traynor if she'd found anything would have fit a lot better, instead of Edi bringing it up. Traynor had already proven herself to be very resourceful earlier.

You can just FEEL Liara's eyes boring into Traynor when she does that. 

you know i got that same vibe at the end in the destroy ending where Traynor was fondly touching my name plate and looking up while Liara was luriking in the back of the group. i thought her eyes would go all black and the last thing Traynor would hear is "Embrace Eternity" lol

Actually, that's a thought. With the exception of Thane in ME3, it doesn't seem like any of the ME2 love interests are ever aware of it if Shepard had a love interest in the previous game (it's an especially awkward conceit in the case of Garrus and Tali, given that they served on the Normandy at the same time as Ashley/Kaidan/Liara). Jack gets pretty pissed at you in ME2 if you try to romance her while simultaneously romancing someone else. Wonder how a meeting/conversation on the matter between her, Shepard and Ashley/Liara would go down.

Jack: Yeah.

(Shepard bursts through the door out of breath only to notice that there isn't any blood, ruptured bulkheads, or flying funiture)

Jack: Any particular reason why you look like you're about to **** yourself?

Shepard: Joker said you two were talking.

Ash:  Yeah, about books.

Shepard: Oh. Uh, I- I should go.

Jack: Yep.

I also get the feeling Ashleigh and Jack would get along swimingly even in the ME1 Ashleigh to ME2/ME3 Jack playthrough. Happens to be my main playthrough's series of events actually.

So this could be a...whole lot of nothing, I guess, but I happened to drop by Mike Gamble's Twitter yesterday and noticed this exchange:



So that "we're looking into that one..." is about Miranda, naturally, but it occurs to me that if the ending slides are any indication, what applies to Miranda could apply to Jack, as well. So...yeah. Any thoughts? Speculation? Might we see Miranda/Jack in that scene (or at least, something in that vein) at some point? Would we call that the Extended Extended Cut?

I doubt there will be an Extended Extended Cut, but if that is a foreshadowing that some content involving the ME2 romances that were put aside is coming, I'm all for it.

I'll wait the Sand Diego Comic Con to start getting excited, anyway. And hope that whatever Miranda gets, Jack will also get it. It would pisses me off even more if they decide to give only ONE romance something more and leave their best character in the darkness.

What? I thought Jack and Miranda were intentionally not in that scene, because they're elsewhere. And I like that Jack isn't in that scene, because, like I said earlier, I think that it would be far too formal for her.

I'm okay with the Stargazing scene too. That's why I'd prefer something involving ME2 LIs during the main campaign. The ending is fixed as it is.

I actually just started to replay ME2 (I started the whole series over again) and I cannot wait to recruit Jack


On a side note I just listened to the song Sailed Away by Saving Able. Remind me a lot of Jacks feelings towards shep during ME2.
