Miranda (and Jack) don't show up because they didn't crash with the Normandy. Sigh, silly random twitter user.

That or the silly random twitter user and Gamble were referring to some epilogue slides not displaying properly. Miranda and Jack never show up when I do Destroy. Jacob does though, without fail.

Well, the Normandy apparently picked up everyone else on the crew, so I see no reason why Miranda and Jack couldn't have been picked up, espicially when they're Shep's LI. I give the Normandy leaving the beam to when you have to make the choice of Destroy/Control/Synthesis/Refuse about an hour in plot, so pleanty of time to grab them and got over to the Citadel for the cutscene.

I think they should have had Jack or Miranda find Shepard during/before the run for the beam if they were romanced. Then they could take part in the beam run, be the one in the evac convo and then be part of the memorial.

Ditto. Could have had them jump down the ledge and start running with you all "I changed my mind Shepard" or something, though, You'd probably have to come up with a bit better reason for Jack to show up there. I just cam't see her leaving the Biotic Kids, as much as I like the idea of her joining in on the beam run. idk

Jack fans-- do you have thoughts on what you'd want to see in a Romance DLC?

If so, please jump over to the thread I linked earlier, and make your suggestions. I'm compiling a list for all characters for Bioware.

Also, don't forget to vote on the polls, if interested :)

I would have liked to see Jack and her squad (and all other previous/current squad members that were on earth) meet up with you the same way Anderson did at the end for that final push to the beam. The reason could be simply because Anderson or Hackett orders all forces in the area to assault the beam and would have been a great way to see all your squad members and the different species you gathered and united come together for the final push with Jack (Or whatever LI you had) by your side as you charge into the beam of Star brat and Harbinger's Anti-Dreadnaut laser beams which managed to give you a tan and scuff your pads a bit.

In other news I was beyond dissapointed with the EC's Jack content, or rather the lack of it. No speach from her VA and just a couple of screenshots of her. The part that was most dissapointing was when she didn't get laid, don't get me wrong my dumb ass didn't get killed because I chose the destroy ending but I managed to bury myself and the cell phone reception is bad in there so I can't order a pizza or anything while I wait for the alliance to dig out the king of the boy scouts so I can play Pirate on the SR2 with Jack as first mate.

...Did you really just say that? And, lol. :D

I was actually thinking the entirety of Priority: Earth could have been that way. Having more friends such as Miranda and Kasumi and Jack would result in the mission being a lot easier with a cutscene every so often of one of them appearing, taking out a few enemies in a nice tribute to the character, and then continuing on to wherever.

Like, Jack could be passing through somewhere with the Biotic Squad and they'll take out a Banshee and a Brute for you as they pass.

Or Zaeed will run through guns blazzing when you get surrounded by Husks while Grunt wrestles a Brute.

Priority: Earth should have been a culmination of all your War Assets fighting for you and helping you. Having everyone dead would result in more opponents and a harder time progressing in the level while having almost everyone still alive makes the mission so much easier for everyone involved.

It was originally supposed to be like that. Or, something like that. But they instead just made it a standard mission, and, ultimately, your allies would only come to aid you in an abstract way through EMS, and in cutscenes. It's a damn shame.

It is. Would have liked to see more of Kasumi and Jack and Miri doing something. We only have a vague understanding of what Jack was doing. Everyone else we're left in the dark about.

I was really hoping that the final battle would be a sort of "Avengers Assemble!" moment where we got the remaining squadmembers from all three games together to join Shepard on the march to the beam.

This is what should have happened. Jack, Grunt, Miranda, they all should have been there by my side.

Honestly, I was pessimistic about the EC from the start, but the one thing I did think it would get right was showing our war assets in action, given that they had some of the dialogue recorded for it already. The one thing I actually expected from it and it managed to disappoint. Shame.

Away from the pile of crap that is the EC for me now, into more Jack discussion!
In ME3 all your squaddies have 2 apearances and each clothing set has it's own traits, so in your opinion if Jack was available as a squad member in ME3 what alternate clothing would she have and what would their enhancements be?
Second question; If she was a squad member what weapon sets would she have? In ME2 she already had a class specialisation that gave the option of using Shotguns and Pistols but in ME3 would you change it and if you did what weapons would you give her? (sticking to ME3's 2 weapon rule of course)
Lastly what abilities would you give her to level up? In ME2 she was given a vanguard-esque class with Shockwave, Pull, Warp Ammo and the "Subject Zero" passive upgrades, but ME3 allows for 4 active powers and the passive class upgrade so even if you kept her powers the same you would need to add another. How would you set out her abilities to cope with her ME3 style?

Edit: Beware the wall of text!

For me her default clothing would give her a 25% power damage boost and her alternate would give a 25% power recharge boost but I'm not sure of how it would look, some of the squad members change from casual clothing to combat clothing and armour but Jack isn't the type of person would would wear a big steel suit like Vega does so she would need alternate clothing. I thought about using her original appearance but in my mind it wouldn't work especially with her new hair so a new set of clothes it would be for me, yet I couldn't possibly say what they would look like.
As for her weapon set it's really difficult to put  a weapon set to a character that has biotics as her main weapon instead of conventional weaponry, the old layout of shotgun and pistol was quite a good idea as Jack likes to kill people (In her own words "Every time somebody else dies, I figure my chances of survival go up.") and the shotgun gave her a close combat option to coupole with her high biotic output while she used the pistol as a precision weapon in lieu of rifles. I feel that this weapon set would suit her still, and I myself would give her the either the Carnifex or Paladin if I have bought it along with the Graal or Claymore because they seem to be more her style than say the Geth shotgun or Wraith.
Finally her skillset, firstly I consider Jack to be an adept who can use a shotgun rather than ME2's protrayal of her being a vanguard who only uses the biotic side of he skills. Because of this I would have to say no ammo types for her, another squad member or shepard himself can use a squad ammo if really needed, just give her a full set of powerful biotic abilities. Her skill set for me would be as follows; Shockwave, Slam, Throw and Warp. I chose to replace her old "warp ammo" skill with slam and add in Throw because it gives her a more deicisive and offensive biotic aresenal which is what her character actually uses. Warp may not seem too offensive in comparison to throwing someone into a wall like he got hit by a train but it would to an advanced biotic. This would allow Jack to use warp on an enemy that her other powers might not affect or be very useful on and then detonate it inflicting massive damage and causing havoc which is very much Jacks style.

Any Jackolytes want to share their opinions?

Please call the best artist you know and ask him to draw the Avengers Assemble moment with all the squadmates/former squadmates that are on Earth ready to battle!

Jack's alternative clothes? I don't know, they put so much effort in re-designing her, I think they'll just change the color of the jacket or something like that. But if they add alternative clothes, it would be nice to see a reference to her DLC alternative costume from ME2, the 80s one

Weapons? Who need weapons? I think her style would be heavy on Biotics, so she need light weapons to not slowdown her Power Recharge time. Maybe a very big, nasty Pistol? A new non-Cerberus Talon with a vintage look that comes as a bonus weapon with her DLC would be cool.

Also, I approve the fact that she could be the first SP character to use the Striker, even if the Power Recharge would suffer from that.

Her powers from ME2 are nice, but she need Slam (that's what she does to the YMIRs on the Purgatory, yet she never had that power in-game) and a new power that resemble her "Biotic Punch" would be pretty cool, maybe as her "bonus power" that you can chose for Shepard after some conversations with her.

Allright guys, this thread got sticked   in General Discussion, so there's a possibility to get what we want. Go show your support/suggestion!

http://social.biowar.../index/12861904

EDIT: the fact that it got sticked in the General Discussion forum (the most available here on the BSN) could mean that BioWare is actually looking for some data about Jack/Miranda fans. I think that enough voices there would be very useful!

Maybe a light-armor, means no helmet, camouflage pants with military boots  and a thin chest-armor ( arms free).
Mabybe +10% Health, +10% Power/Force and +5% Weapon-DMG.
Normal cloth: +10 % Recharge and 15% power-DMG

... what weapon sets would she have?

Shotgun + Assault Rifle, Shotgun prefered.

Lastly what abilities would you give her to level up?

Warp-Ammo,Pull, Shockwave, Carnage + Passives.
Pull + Shockwave to lift enemy up and for detonations. Warp-Ammo+ Carnage to focus more on her weapon-ability, so that she is more than a vanguard and less then a adept.

I think Jack would look awesome in some real armor. Full armor. But, with large swathes of weave mesh clearly visible at the joints, because we know that she prefers mobility. Maybe it'd even have the Alliance Systems logo on it, and some white scratchings on it, like she's customized it aesthetically. If Bioware could find a way to give her intelligent enough AI to authentically depict the way she likes to close in to melee while flinging people around, I think that that armor set should give her a bonus to barrier strength. If not, power bonus damage.

A second set of armor, I'd love to see the "biker Jack" set of armor from ME2 return, only this time without the visor. Never cover up Jack's most beautiful features. This set should have power recharge bonus.

As for powerset, if we can give her some smart AI, I think she'd do well with a mix of Vanguard/Phoenix Vanguard powers. If not, Warp, Slam, Shockwave, and, I still a power should be added just for her, that combines Pull+the human Adept/Vanguard's heavy melee. It would only work against unprotected enemies, but it would pull the target (non-special targets) to Jack, and then send them flying back with a heavy biotic punch. Her class power should be similar to Liara's class power, wherein it lowers the cooldown of a single power to almost 0.

I've always wanted to see Jack in full armor. Maybe something akin to the medium armors that Vanguards could equip in the first game. She could also wear something resembling the Alliance armors that Ashley and Liara wear in ME3, but perhaps physically modified in some way to better reflect her personality (maybe graffiti'd up or something).

As far as weapons and powers go, all three returning squadmates from ME2 retained the same weapon proficiencies and powers from that game, and had a new power added to the inventory, so I would presume that the same would apply to Jack. The wrinkle is that Liara already has one of Jack's unique powers (Warp Ammo), so Jack should have a new power that replaces that and another power that brings the total count to four. Biotic Sphere from MP meshes pretty well with the idea of Jack as a Vanguard-like close quarter combatant who uses shotguns, plus it would allow her to easily set off biotic explosions. And like I said before, there's also Lash and Smash, which really fit well with Jack's...well, everything, pretty much.

I wish.  The AI Isn't good enough for that, though.  It was just beginning to get good in ME3, with Phantoms and Guardians.

Well yeah the AI is pretty stupid, and therefore Jack would need some hardcore passive defensive buffs so she just doesn't get killed instantly, but multiplayer at least showed that you can have more than one person charge in the same game :P

Why not make the Single player AI version of biotic charge more like that ability Kasumi had in ME2. So far as once the attack is completed she could 'Charge' back to cover or something?

BTW, Jack + Lash = Full of Win.

That could work, good call.

Banshees also already kind of "charge" across the map. Not too much of a stretch to have one of your squad do it too.
