I have no idea what Annihilation Field does but it sounds like it's right up Jack's alley.
Love it.

Seems to have been a lot of information dropped recently. I logged back on yesterday after uploading my latest chapter only to find out that a new DLC had been leaked that essentially negates any possibility of what I wrote being correct. First Kalros, then Javik replaces my Revenant. now the Leviathan.Great.
Bioware, de-canonising my fic, one DLC at a time.

Fury operatives use implants to fuel biotics and their incredible movement speed. These operatives wind an unpredictable path on the battlefield, moving in and out of combat before returning to unleash a sweeping biotic attack on their unsuspecting targets."
Sounds like an assassin or theif like Katsumi. Guess that's why the class looks like her.

Kasumi isn't biotic.

Shepard does a lot of crazy things. Getting disintigrated and having his consiousness transmitted across the galaxy isn't really much for a guy who came back from the dead.

Where's this new class come from? Was it announced through the night?

Still, you're theory of Ghost Shepard possibly haunting every living being in the Galaxy is almost more creepy than the inevitable Shifty Looking Cows rebellion.

I started out hating Jack too, her and Miranda. But once I did Jack and Miranda's loyalty mission I grew to like both of the characters. I still hate the fact that Jack has no shirt on in ME2, and that she is bald in ME2. I like her new look better because her chest is covered up more, and she is not completely bald at least.KingNothing125 wrote...
That's a great post by Mondo47. I agree completely.
My first couple of playthroughs of ME2, I basically ignored Jack apart from her loyalty mission, because she just screams oversexualized-aggressive-tough-girl cliche, what with her wearing no clothes, criminal record, and having overpowered biotics. The only thing worse would have been if they had given her a katana blade. Yawn, eye-roll.
But when I finally got around to talking to her, I found her to be quite a bit more interesting. I already mentioned this in another thread, but I think Jack is the most compelling LI... like she really needs someone like Shepard, and Shepard's heart really goes out to her. Their pre-sucide mission scene is very touching.
My "main" Shepard is already pretty tight with Ashley, but If I had to start all over and could only choose one LI for the entirety of the trilogy, I would choose Jack.

I like people that wear shirts as well but come on, Jack looked beautiful bald. Also kudos for reading the thread from the beginning, only 200+ pages to go.
Jack was not bald! There's hair! Though I agree, I do miss her old look, but she looks beautiful w/ any hair style.

I stand by what I said though (lol @ the katana sword bit... can't remember what, if anything, I was referencing). My first Shep, the Ashmance, was named after me and kinda looks like me, but I consider my Jack Shep to be my "main" one now.
I never minded the bald/shaved head thing. It's a look that can be pulled off, like Natalie Portman in V, Amber Rose, etc. I always disliked the amount of tattoos. Full sleeves and stuff, and especially tattoos across the chest, I don't like. Jack's a compelling enough character that I look past it, though, and now I just kinda consider them to be her clothes, lol.

Anyway, she's most likely been depowered before by being given biotic-suppressant drugs in order to keep her under control in prison. Jack must consider her biotics to be a part of her, as much as Jesse is a part of Zaeed. Her biotics have kept her alive all this time, and you can see this, because she's extremely adept with them. I don't think she would like having her biotics taken away.
EDIT: Lots of edits

Here's a question, how do you think Jack would react to being depowered? I'm sort of thinking that the energy wave in the Destroy ending damages her implants making them non-functional. Jack's fine but she's not going to be punching through mechs or moving things with her mind for the foreseeable future.
If Jack's biotic implants were targeted by the Destroy wave nothing can save civilization since the technology that startship uses to keep the crew alive would be annihlated. I think it's more probable that the High EMS red energy wave only targets Reaper tech which we know is already inside EDI and the Geth... that's why Shepard, who has far more implants than Jack (actually, I believe that Shepard is almost 2/3 synthetic after ME2) survives the wave.
However, I think that a depowered Jack would be almost scared of the Galaxy: she knows how dangerous and dirty the universe can be, and without her biotics she would be naked in front of dangers. I think it would be a nightmare for her... and that's why I'm happy that this theory is unlikely to happen.

Shepard may have more implants, but not all of his are for biotics. Pretty sure some of them just keep him alive. Biotic Shepard may have less biotic implants than Jack does, considering the stuff that went in to him was top-of-the-line, and pretty much exists because the sick bastards stuffed poor Jack full of wires.

Well, we don't know how much Cerberus experimented on a Biotic Shepard's body while rebuilding him... I think we can assume they gave him a boost or two with their experimental biotic-technology. Obviously Jack has a lot more of implants since she was designed to be the most powerful biotic in the Galaxy, but I'm pretty sure that if the implants that keep Shepard alive are still working, her biotic implants would be fine too.
Anyway, I agree with your theory: Jack is pretty skilled with weapons too, she'll probably start training hard to be as deadly as before without Biotics.
