I'd read fic where Jack is depowered, but I'd be more interested if the depower-ment was only temporary. I think her biotics express a lot about who she is. I think that, like her tattoos, they are a way that she can express herself. And, I consider them integral to her. Just like Jesse is to Zaeed, I wouldn't consider her truly whole without her biotics. I think she'd feel that something is missing from herself, without her biotics.

Completely agree. As I stated before, I consider Jack to be much like a breathing art piece, and without her biotics she would be like a version of The Last Supper painted without a color. Something would be missing.

Hey guys I have a curiosity. You know, some of those fan-cuts of the Endings, like "Refusal - Happy Ending" or "Destroy - Geth & EDI lives" etc.?

Do you know if there's something like that involving Jack somehow? Honestly I'm not a huge fan of those (I don't mind the EC) but I was just curious.

I don't even know what those fics are.  Are they like happier versions of what was given in the EC?  Where can I find them?

Not fics, juts differnet cuts of the endings. Something like this, there are some out there.

I'm thinking Jack without full-tilt biotics for a few weeks after the fighting on Earth. It's not that she doesn't have her powers anymore, she's just gone from being able to blow apart an Atlas mech with a flick of her wrist to stuggling to move a cardboard box across the floor.

London

Rodriguez: Ma'am, why's your assault rifle apart?

Jack: (soldering wires on a circuit board)  Needed the paladium from the kinetic coil.

Rodriguez: So what exactly are you working on?

Jack: Building a replacement amp.

Rodriguez: I don't think we'll need to throw anyone across a room for awhile.

Jack: (muttering while piecing together another part) ...just doesn't feel right not having everything working the way it shoud.

Rodriguez: How long have you had your powers?

Jack: I've been able to toss ****heads around with my brain for as long as I can remember.

Rodriguez: So, this is just because you're feeling powerless?

Jack: (sighs) We won, but Earth's a mess, the fleet ran off to who knows where, and nobody's seen or heard from Shepard for weeks. I've been able to throw a guy around a room for as long as I can remember and now I can't lift a ****ing coffee mug without feeling like a Krogan sat on me. Might not be able to bring back the fleet or find by idiot boyfriend, but this is something that I can fix.

Finally found out what Annihilation Field does:

Annihilation Field: "Spin this fiery effect around you to burn nearby enemies. When active, the field can be recast to blast a short-range area and to detonate combos"

Pretty much anyone who gets too close will start having a really bad day.

Sounds like a tech power, not a biotic power.

No, if you haven't seen it already, it's like the adept is surrounding itself in this biotic mist, pretty cool.  The character reminds me of Nightcrawler, with the way it can dodge and it's heavy melee attack.

Jack: The hell's that?

Shepard: Monomolecular blade, they've issuing them to N7 operatives.

Jack: Looks like one the toothpicks those Cerberus cheerleaders carry.

Shepard: I thought Miranda was the "Cerberus cheerleader"?

Jack: Lawson doesn't go flipping around with a ****ing letter opener thinking she can fight with it.

Shepard: Don't they have that biotic damping field in their palm?

Jack: That fancy hand cannon can't do much when you don't have a hand to use it. (Opens footlocker revealing a small pile of Phantom swords)

Attention Jack fans!

The Romance DLC Survey ends today at 3pm EST.  Yesterday we were sitting  at whopping 7,500 responses! We're trying to get as close to 10K as we can!

If you haven't yet taken it, and are interested, PLEASE pop over there and take the survey (see link in my sig).  It will only take 5 minutes of your time...unless you like to make comments. ;)

Results will be analyzed statistically, summarized into a report, and sent to  Bioware.  If you want to be heard on this issue, this is the best way to do it!

Please take the survey and spread the word:  https://www.surveymo...omancedlcsurvey

This will be my last spam of your thread.  Thanks for being tolerant! <3

Please keep spamming this thread with the results though, I voted and am pretty curious about the outcome!

(Hoping Liara didn't stole the cake even there...)

Courtenay Taylor is on the Mass Effect Comic-Con panel if anyone didn't know.

http://www.newsarama...ent-future.html

Will apparently make an announcement at the end of the panel.

Are you sure? The article doesn't say anything about voice actors at all... or did she announced it over twitter?

Yeah, she was there. No announcement concerning ME2 characters, which I was expecting. Hopefully in the next few months, but I don't know how long I'll keep my interest, to be honest.

Yeah, she was there. I walked just behind her, Raphael, and Kimberly down the hallway after the panel was over. Man, was I pissed that my phone was dead and I couldn't take a picture.

Kinda disappointed there wasn't really any big news in the panel, Jack related or otherwise, but still, I'm so happy I finally went to SDCC.

I guess it's not a bad thing if they ignore the ME2 characters. Keeps me from spending any more money on the series.

I can agree with you.  I've got Bioware points just sitting there and frankly unless they do something with Jack, the endings have me too apathetic to even care about any dlc.  I haven't touched the game since April.  I keep trying to get the motivation but then decide that playing Fallout 3 would be a better use of my time.

Those are awesome, PMC! I was wondering what Ms. Taylor was doing at Comic Con. Rana must have incredible tolerance for heat, because that suit must not be very cool, and this is the second time she's worn it to SDCC in the summer heat.
