Heh. That's great. I'd seen Miranda's slide altered to include Shepard like that before. First time I see it with Jack.Dr. Doctor wrote...
Now that's more like it.
The difference between Jack's slide and Miranda's slide has always jumped out at me a little bit. The poses, the body language...as I recall, Miranda appears to be holding her hands together up to her chest. It's a very hopeful, expectant pose, almost as if she's praying for Shepard to return. Jack, on the other hand, seems to be standing with her arms crossed over her front. It's a very Jack-like pose, one that may perhaps denote a bit of impatience of annoyance. Looking at her, I think I can almost hear her going, "Where the hell are you, ******?" in her mind.

I'd want it to be Biotic focused but Cerberus is important to the plot so that could also work.spiros9110 wrote...
If Jack was to be in future DLC, do you guys want it to be relevant to Cerberus or to stray away from that type of arc? Something Biotic focused? I'm already assuming a lot of us want something for her romance arc/scene - more the emotional aspect, but that's been discussed.

i always thought their should have been more anit biotic sentiment in the ME universe then what we got considering there was alot of biotic related side quest in ME1.
There is. The story just doesn't cover it. Non-asari biotics are extremely rare, despite what the game lets on. Multiplayer probably doesn't help. People take a look at multiplayer and probably assume every other person is biotic.
As for what type of DLC I'd like to see Jack in, maybe something about wiping out remnants of Cerberus. Fanatics, the type that don't need Reaper spare parts in 'em to agree with TIM.

you would think it woule be more fleshed out in game considering there was enough to build on it. plus some of the decisions i made in ME1 concerning how to deal with out of control biotics was a reflection of what i would do if Jack were in that position
it would be pretty fun to go bunker to bunker wiping out cerberus like in ME1 where you stumble into Toombs

Anyway, yeah. Jack and other human biotics would face discrimination.

Bioware removed discrimination as a major topic in the ME setting. By ME2, it's reduced to a joke character, and a sidequest. It's too bad. I liked being able to play xenophobe Shepard. I won't forgive them for removing roleplay elements in their attempts to constantly refine and redefine the paragon/renegade system.

heh Jack would hand some people their asses if they openly mouthed off bout her students. a good dlc plot would be investigating cerberus abduction of biotic since they were doing that at grissom academy, it would be nice to try and rescue some of the students that couldnt get away.

Do you think TIM, who is also indoctrinated, will just let them fight the Reapers side-by-side with the Alliance, scattered all over the Galaxy, without doing something about it?

i would find it quite amusing if in the destroy ending if they let your love interest narrate the galaxies recovery efforts instead of Hackett Jacks would be hilarious

Jack: So we came, we saw, and we kicked their ass. 'Cept we kind of ****ed up the relays, and the Citadel, and most of us probably aren't getting home anytime soon. Anyway moving on...
(camera cuts to London)
Jack: While London Bridge might have fallen down, got stomped on by killer robots, and blown up the guys in the art department said showing that picture would "be too depressing" so they whipped up a picture of a shiny new city.
(camera cuts to Tuchanka)
Jack: Krogan building ****? Hey, that's not the picture I ordered!
Tech: Sorry. (switches to picture of Wrex, Eve, and the baby Krogan)
Jack: I don't care who you are that little Krogan is ****ing adorabe.
(camera cuts to Jack's romance slide)
Jack: My ****** boyfriend decided that hitting the on button for the Crucible wasn't a good idea and shot the freaking power coupling instead. He was to busy getting fixed up so he couldn't make the photoshoot so I'm stuck here looking like I'm lonely.
(camera cuts to Shepard breathes scene)
Jack: Is he dead? Is he alive? Ain't ambiguity a ****?

Hey, so I'm doing a proper ME2-3 replay, and one of the things I want to do is concentrate on Jack's character (getting to know her better, since I love how she winds up in ME3). So I'm taking her on all missions (her and Miri where I can), but are there any great places on hub worlds to talk to her? I don't think I've done many of them and I'd like to hit up the good ones at least...
Citadel has a sad bit about her time on Purgatory, Omega is nice. Tuchanka is nice with Grunt. I like her banter with Samara on Illium.

A mission or just any time on Illium?

One last question. Is there a best squaddie to bring on her loyalty mission? It's my second favorite one (MordinFTW), but I'd love to know if there's a way to make it even better...

I like bringing Mordin there. Despite having done some questionable things himself, he still thinks that what went on there was despicable.

Mordin's good for that mission. His Incinerate is a great counter to the Pyros (automatically makes them explode) as well as the armor that the krogan and vorcha mercs pack. And he provides the standard banter that all squadmates do regarding the experiments on Pragia. From a storytelling standpoint, Miranda also works pretty well as a squadmate (you could see it as feeding into the catalyst for her fight with Jack later, and there's some tense dialogue between her and Jack as Miranda is naturally inclined to defend Cerberus throughout the mission), and her powers are also well suited for the enemies you face (Warp will take care of armor and barriers, Overload will blow up the Pyros).krukow wrote...

I usually run with Jack and Miranda as my team. Miranda Overloads a target's shields, Jack follows up with Pull, Miranda throws Warp and then there are explosions everywhere.

A cerberus op (Miranda or Jacob) make for good banter. I'm sure Grunt has something funny to always say. During Purgatory he yells out "I don't wanna miss this".

Hey, that's my thread for a couple fo weeks ago... didn't know it was still kickin'! Nice pictures you're finding about Jack/Shepard... some pic/song comboes are stunning. Even if, I have to amdit that for me "best of the thread" still remains Shaleist with this post:

I was on full-immersion with the "Jack = Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" thing and that post hit me like a punch in the stomach and made me realize how important and beautiful even the "soft side" of the Jack/Shep romance is.
That being said, keep on rockin' the thread Jackolytes!
