"...Even the ostensibly progressive BioWare drops the ball, with their portrayal of Jack in Mass Effect 2. As this 1Up article points out, the only way to effectively cure her post-traumatic stress disorder is to literally f*ck it out of her. If you play as a female Shepard or just decide not to romance her, her character's story doesn't come to any kind of conclusion."
I think the palm of my hand is sore from bashing my fist into it.

I know we've touched upon this subject many times, but I'm going through this cracked article, titled "5 Prejudices That Video Games Can't Seem To Get Over" and came across this:

Why would you care about the opinions of people who are so ignorant of the material they're trying to write about?

Are they serious? "**** it out of her?"

I don't, actually. I only go to that site to get a few laughs.
There's a bit in that same article about Jacob Taylor too, that I laughed at. I'm not taking any of it seriously -- I never do when the goal is to laugh. But if I wanted to, I'd just look at the date that article was published and say.
"Well ****. I'm not even surprised that this keeps coming up, anymore."

You don't "**** it out" of Jack, ignorant article. Did they see the romance scene? If they wanna head-cannon it that way, whatever. Seriously, I thought people would realize what that scene express, what her whole romance arc expresses, jesus.
On one hand, I wanna say no, they aren't being serious. At least not entirely. That entire website is for straight up humor.
On the other hand, they usually have most of their articles linked to some sources. Most of them are legit.
Either way, I wouldn't get heated about it. Even if they still believe in the magic stick (please forgive me for that 50 Cent reference) curing Jack. No matter how much we try to explain this to them, either they don't exactly understand it, or they do, and don't care.
And then there's the deal about appearances.

And wow, Courtenay Taylors voice isn't the only great thing about her, she seems to be a damn nice and interesting person too.

"Let's stop pulling from the "Greatest Hits" and cook up some more interesting flamebait."
"You may as well of said that ME2 is supporting murder, genocide, and ethnic cleansing."
Ah, the internet. Have an opinion on something you know nothing about, to the internet my friend!

I really wish that there was some interaction between Miranda and Jack in ME3. Jack's finally found a place of her own and a cause that she believes in, sort of like ME2 Miranda and Cerberus. Miranda's had the organization who she thought was trying to help humanity turn into a Bond villain. Both of them have changed between games and it would be neat to see how that changes the dynamic between them. They're never going to be friends but they might be able to understand where the other's coming from.

What's funny is that when I had Jack and Miranda with me during the Collector Ship mission there was a cutscene where Miranda fell down and Jack helped her back up.
That unfortunately happens in the game no matter who you have. I had them first time through and thought it was hilarious Jack helping up Miranda. Then my second playthrough, Grunt helped up Tali and I was sad it wasn't squad specific. Still a funny moment though.

If Jack had kids, would they know her as Jack, or as Jennifer?
Something tells me her real name might only get recognition from her kids, and no one else.

So that's a no, then?
It would just stay as something Liara found out and now she and Shepard knows?
