Hey Jackolites, I finished a draft for mission related to Jack and Miranda. Bw might have screwed the game for me, but I can still dream. I'll quote myself from the Miranda thread.

Just finished the draft. This was my idea for an arc with Miranda and Jack. Phoenix Project. Just a summary,
no dialogues, but there should be potential dialogues and good lines in alot of parts,
Plot.
After dealing with Sanctuary, we receive a message from Miranda telling us to meet her ASAP, something that can't wait. We found her on the Citadel, and she tell us about some files she encountered on Horizon.
She discovered that some of the refugees with biotic potential were sent to the Phoenix Project.
Phoenix was one of her projects before Lazarus. She wasn't the cell leader there, but her mentor was the director. The objective was training biotics, accepting only volunteers. Not kidnapping nor force recruitment. However Miranda was reasigned in the early stage of the project, before their decided where to build the installations.
Shepardcan ask why the Alliance didn't found any shipment to this facility, Miranda would confess that the deleted the info, this is an issue she would want to deal with it herself, without the Alliance interfering. Specially if her mentor is involved.
At the moment they reach thesystem of where the Project Phoenix is located (I was thinking somewhere in the Voyage Cluster) they found an Alliance shuttle nearby. To our surprise Jack is on that shuttle.
We have a talk with Jackon the Normandy. She tell us that before Reaper attacks some of her students were recruited by an Allaince officer looking volunteers. She didn't give enough tought about it untill a days ago, when it was confirmed by Alliance intelligence that the officer was a Cerberus agent. Someone tipped her about the location of the base, and that's whyshe was there on the vecinity.
There could be a few clashes betwen Miranda and Jack on the Normandy. Jack can accuse Miranda being there just to erase one of her dirty secrets related to Cerberus or something like that.
Anyway, both Jack and Miranda are forced squadmates for this mission. If one or both of them are dead the mission can still be played.
Now, continuing the plot, when we reach the facilities the shuttle is attacked and disabled by some turrets. The shuttle still make it to the ground, but it can't take off anymore.
First Mission: Infiltrate the facility:
Atthe entrance of the facility we find that the Cerberus forces are fighting betwen them. We can see a group of Phoenix biotics fighting against the regular Cerberus forces (trooper, centurions, engineer, etc). The Phoenix don't have much problem dealing with them, however a new enemy appears, the Cerberus Berserker. The Berserker take out some of the Phoenix, and that's when Shepard joins the battle.
After the battle we can see that one of the Phoenx biotics is still alive. Shepard take off the Phoenix's helmet, we can see that he's a regular human, no reaper tech. Jack recognises him as one of her former students. He tell us to go to the common barracks, to help the others. Then he dies.
Lots of battle until we reach the barracks, and we find the leader of the Phoenix.
.Heexplains us that they were here by their own will. They were supposed to be training to fight against the future menace of the Reapers. They didn't really know that the reapers arrived just until a few days ago, when new "recruited" biotics arrived (refugees from Sanctuary).
He also tell us about some missing biotics. They thought they just went to another facility, or they were doing some missions for Cerberus. They did't supect if they don't see each other after the traiing. They were part of Cerberus after all, they needed to cut contact betwen them.
And he tell us about the cause of this inner conflic betwen Cerberus forces. One of the disappeared biotics escaped from an undeground lab, and tell the truth about the final stage of the Project. They were about to implant reaper technology in them, turning the Phoenix into Berserkers. They didn't belie him, when in the middle of teh discussion one of the Phoenix took off the helmet of a Cerberus tropp and saw what Cerberus did to him.
After the talk with the Phoenix we can have investigate dialogue with Miranda and Jack. Jack can talk about how the hell some of her students joined Cerberus, while Miranda would talk that if her mentor still is the Director from this cell s/he would never use reaper implants in the subjects, or recruiting by force.
Shepard would have to help the Phoenix here and deal with the Berserker. And put an end to this Cerberus facility too. He would have to disable the turrets, and investigate the undergound laboratories.
Second Mission: Disabling the turrets.
Nothing too special, just killing grunts and maybe 1 or 2 berserkers as a semi-boss.
Mission three: investigate the undergound labs.
After dealing with the turrets, we also gained access to he labs. There should be lots of berserkers there, and we should see some Phoenix being processed. We can take the decision of killing them or try to save them, but we can only save them if both Miranda and Jack are with us. Shepard and company make their way to the contol room, eliminating hordes of Cerberus troopers and berserkers.
At the end we find Miranda's mentor. There should be unique dialogue betwen them, Miranda questioning him about using repear tech, betraying what she started in this project. Jack have some comments about Cerberus insane experiments again.
However, what we found is that the directors was indoctrinated, he didn't want to do that, to turn the Phoenix in those monsters, he wanted to teach them, to develope their abilities, however the Illusive Man had different plans with them. In his last meeting withTIM, the director received a forced upgrade on Cronos. He still feels responsible for all this horror, and asks Miranda to end with his life. Before dying, he tells her that she is what Cerberus should represent, and that we also have to deal with humanity inner enemies, like what Cerberus is now.
After killing the Director an hollogram from the illusive man appears, some blah blah betwen he and Miranda, some curses from Jack too. Before TIm can talks more Miranda disables the hologram, saying something like "I wish I could cut him like this one more time."
The underground labs are destroyed, and the Phoenix personal gains the control of the facility. Shepard and the squads leaves the planet and continue the fight against Cerberus and the Repears.
Extra talk betwen Miranda and Jack. Miranda would reveal that she tipped Jack about the location. Both of them become, less agressive to each other (they aren't friends, but they don't want to kill each other now).
Romance content exclusive to Miranda and Jack:
After the mission, back on the Normandy there should be a love scene, with Miranda/Jack visiting Shepard's cabin. Full love scene for them, no crappy dance, no fade to black. Wake up and pillow talk included.
If Miranda is the LI, EDI will interrup their pillow talk, saying that an Alliance shuttle is waiting for Miss Lawson to take charge of the Phoenix.
If Jack is the LI EDI will interrup their pillow talk, saying that an Alliance shuttle is waiting to take Jack and the biotic refugees to join with her biotic students.
Earth and Ending content:
We can have a talk in person with them instead the auto dialogue of the cheap holo vid talk. We can See Miranda as the Leader of a group of Phoenix, and Jack with her students.
If our LI is Jack or Miranda, we found them with their respective squads (Phoenix or students) before making the run to the conduit. We can see them as NPC running to the beam, Shepard squad and Jack/Miranda are injured by Harbinger. He evacuates them Shepard can now say his final goodbye to Jack or Miranda. Jack or Miranda is the character who put Shepard's plate on the wall.
Miranda and Jack slides change if they are romanced, and there also should be new slides for the squadmembers. They are supposed to do something after coming back, right?
War assets Aquired.
- Phoenix squad 120 pts. (+10 if Miranda is alive, +50 if you also saved the Phoenix in the labs).
- Biotic Refugees 80 pts. (+10 if Jack is alive).
New enemy (just for this mission): Berserker.
They are strong human biotics with reaper tech. Their habilites are Anihilation field, and Charge. You better be careful with them, they could be more annoying that our beloved phantoms.
Miranda or/and Jack aren't alive? Here's the differences.
- If Miranda and Jack are dead: The Alliance will find the reports about sending biotic refugees to the Phoenix Project. You can take any squadmember you want for that mission.
- If Miranda is dead, and Jack is alive: The Alliance will find the reports, they will send you a biotic specialist to help you. Jack is a forces squadmate during the mission, but you should be able to choose the second squadmate.
- If Miranda is alive and Jack is dead: Miranda will contact you. She'll be a forces squadmember but you can choose the second squadmate.
Powers.
Miranda and Jack powers. For some reasons, I have to take out slam and warp ammo to give 2 powers to each of them. I'm using powers from mp, of course there could be new powers instead of them.
