i know people with a demeanor and appearance like Jack's (tattoos come pre-made). Comic-con..they wouldnt jell in a crowd like that. Not at all.

haha, neither would I. I've never been to anything even remotely similar to comicon. But I'm enough of a Jack fan that I'd do it now (go I mean, not cosplay Jack lol).

Nah, 'twas just a dirty metaphor....

So, cosplay eh? Don't know much about that, aside from Jia Jem....don't think there is much of a cosplay community in th UK....I dunno could be wrong though

Good Luck and Stay Safe

I don't think there's much of a cosplay scene anywhere really. I've never even seen a csoplay in person (unless you count halloween costumes).

ME2 in general had that problem... characters wearing headgear even when it's not required. Walking around Zakera Ward? Slumming it at Afterlife? Hope you took off your breather helmet while you were still on the Normandy, otherwise you'll look rather out of place.:pinched:

Defintely something that was better about ME1: you could take off helmets/headgear whenever you wanted. Hopefully that gets implemented into ME3.

Just dropping in to say high.

I seem to be one of the few people around who loves all the characters (seriously, I do), and now that we've seen the new character designs for Ash, Kaidan, Garrus and the Brand New Mr. Vega, I am majorly looking forward to the return of Jack.

Paragon Romance in ME2 did a good job of putting her on on the path to finding some real happiness in life, I'd like to see ME3 do just as good a job as ME2.

EPIC FAIL

So you do or don't have curves? :D

At least you meet the girl qualification though. It'd still be better than that one dude who cosplayed Jack once (can't find a picture, but that's probably a good thing[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/joyful.png[/smilie]). I'm sure that guy is probably on these forums (so no offense if you're reading this[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/whistling.png[/smilie]); it looked bad[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/sick.png[/smilie], but it was damn funny.

Duude, are you talking about the immortal Patrick Weekes? Like, the guy who's writing for Jack nowadays?

You do gots mad skillz, brah. Thanks for the upload, it's kindof a sad song.

And of course I'd request you don't wait that long but meh, I won't nag.

Man, if Jack isn't a permanent squad member in ME3 I'm gonna be pissed.

Course, I figure, she has to be. Why set her up as a romance and then keep her away in the final game of the trilogy?

Easy, the same reason Thane/Jacob/Miranda are (probably) being kept away.

Yeah, that's the pic.
That isn't really Patrick Weekes though is it? I mean, I thought he hated Jack in ME2. Doesn't seem like something a Jack hater would go through the trouble to do... unless to make Jack look like a fat man.

Edit: Okay, I looked it up. It is Patrick Weekes... for some kind of halloween thing. I assume he did it because he thought Jack was scary looking. He has said some negative things about Jack after all.

lol he said Jack was a character he "loathed", that doesn't make him a "Jack hater" as we know them. I'll give the writing staff a little more credit than that.

Besides, the way I see it, he wrote Mordin, and Mordin had the best dialogue in ME2. Therefor, since he now has a hand in writing Jack, Jack will have the best dialogue in ME3.

This problem goes back to ME1 even. At least they let Shepard change for the Samara loyalty mission.

Jacks eyewear would have worked better if they made them semi-transparent and cast shadows on her face.

I think this is the reason some characters just wear the breather masks instead of full helmets, lets you see their face in dialogue(even if they look silly)

@Epantiras

Funny, I've somehow overlooked how unrealistic skin exposure in space is. How does one survive the cold like that? Maybe Jack uses her biotics to regulate her body temperature or something... biotic heating and cooling so Jack never has a problem with the weather... I don't think ME biotics affect temperatures though. If biotics can't keep you warm, then we don't need to breathe either. Mass effect really is silly sometimes.

Heh, well done, Madam. I'll also take the oppertunity to say I'm looking forward to the next installment of your comic.

The cold is less of an issue than cosmic rays. Our atmosphere protects us from all sorts of harmful radiation that.

Though it's not just in space. There's plenty of planets Shepard and Co. visit that have toxic atmospheres. That's probably not so great for the skin or eyes. I find it funny that Grunt -- who should be one of the more resiliant squadmembers -- wears a helmet while Jack, Samara and Miranada run about flaunting their goods. Granted, Grunt's arms are still bare, but at least he knows to protect his eyes and lungs.

Also, there's flotilla, where there are cultural prohibitions against exposed skin. Garrus is the only squadmember I take with me to the flotilla, as he's willing to properly cover up. Fortunetly it makes sense from a story point of view, as well.

Anyways! I'd be really bothered if the devs were to claim that it's biotics that keep Jack from being exposed to the harshness of space/toxic atmospheres/extreme temperatures. The science in 'Mass Effect' is dodgy enough without becoming outright magic. She's able to manipulate gravity with her brain, but that shouldn't be the answer to everything.

I kinda think the lack of clothing is jack's thing you. she kind of fluants what you can't have and she likes having the power to do so. Her tatoos are also to beutiful to cover up I think. She's like a dangerous animal flashing their warning colors with all those awsome colors and patterns.
