Pit Bulls are widely considered by dog lovers to be very sweet and docile animals, but they are trained and conditioned to be fighters, or killers, just like Jack: a presumably normal little girl until she was swiped from her parents and raised to be a killer. Even after escaping captivity, she retains her volatile temperament, just like a rescued fighting dog. They both need intensive care and careful socializing so they no longer pose a danger to themselves and others.
Quite a bit more accurate than your typical horoscope, I would say.

Just curious, did any of you romance Jack on your first playthrough? I didn't really fall for her till my second playthrough, well actually it was the end of my first playthrough. I ended up romancing Miri and after the SM, I went down to the cargo hold and ended up talking to her, which locked in the romance scene somehow. So I went back up to my cabin and the romance scene came up and well, that's when it happened. I didn't even hear the Murtock speech or anything really till my second playthrough of actually romancing her, so it was even better then I expected and I can't even romance anyone now, she's just too special.
I bought ME2 without knowing anything about Mass Effect. Jack was my first Mass Effect romance and it was awesome!
Sure a thought about a moment if I should choose Tali or Miranda.
But Jack is just very unique, her design is like a breeze of fresh air, I love her background story and of course that she is the LI who doesn't jump on Shepard immediately. It's like you have to work for that romance and the conclusion was very rewarding.
Jack was made for my Paragon.

Tell the truth, Jack wasn't my Shep's first LI. I bought Mass Effect after ME2 came out, but waited on buying the sequel until I'd completed the first one so I could do the import thing. So I played through the first game, and on my initial playthrough I went with Liara, mostly because I'm juvenile and 'hehehe blue boobies' kept running through my mind (so I act my shoe size instead of my age, I don't care). but then I played ME2, and met Jack. My Shep was intrigued from the instant that cryo-vault popped open (loved the whole 'whaaa?' moment there). And then she starts making it clear she isn't going to swoon for me like the dozens of women I'd bumped into before now, so that heightened the interest. I did consider Tali, but after playing ME1 she just feels too much like a little sister rather than an LI, you know? Miranda did not interest me in the slightest. I sided with Jack on the whole 'boo! Cerberus sucks!' attitude. Of course, after taking Miri on the SM and seeing her tell TIM to shove it, I gained a new perspective on the character and grew to respect her, although I have not romanced her in any of my dozen ME2 playthroughs. After romancing Jack, I proceeded to do a playthough where I did not initiate any romance whatsoever in ME1 just so that Jack was the only LI for that Shepard. so I've now done three ME1 playthroughs, one with Liara as LI, two with no Li, and twelve ME2 playthroughs, each one with Paragon Jackmance. Some call me a Jackolyte. Me, I like to think of myself as a Jackaholic!

Sorry, another question. What animal do you guys think represents Jack? The reason I'm asking this, is because of the song I'm currently writing. I'm trying to implement some animal sound of some sort in the song and I'm also representing the song to her "Warm Feelings" she gets when she fights.
Hmm... difficult to answer. If you're referring purely to the sound that I'd associate with her, then I'd say you need to look at felines in general. When she's happy, feels safe, like at the end of her paragon scene, I'd say that she purrs like a housecat, but then you look at her purgatory breakout scene and she'd definately roar like a tiger.
For personality, I agree with the pit bull/ fighting dog analogies. She's dangerous to be around because that's what she knows, and it will take patience, kindness and a firm determination to get her to be otherwise.
For appearance, my first inclination is to say tiger again, but that's not accurate. Tigers have stripes to blend in. Jack looks the way she is to stand out, to send a message. Any animal who has a colourful threat display would apply here. They send out these clear visual messages to say 'stay back! I'm dangerous!' and that's just what the tats, clothes and shaved look are meant to do.

The honey badger. The most fearless animal in the world, they take what they want and maul anything that causes them offence. There's a video on youtube showing a scene from a documentary that shows one fighting a poisonous snake, after the snake bites the hb it kills the snake and the venom (which would kill a man) puts the hb to sleep for a little while before he wakes up and eats the dead snake.
Honey Badger vs Snake and a bit of nurturing too
They've got a guttural growl that I think sounds good, depending on the type of music you're after it might be a good fit.

That's really awesome. I liked how you focused on the dark side of Shepard's work (even if s/he is paragon). I always felt bad for Tela Vasir. Granted, she used some really nasty methods to get her job done, but she wasn't like on Saren's level or anything. She wasn't a bad guy or at least any worse than any of the other spectres I've heard of or run across before. Not saying that makes it right, just that I know where she's coming from and can't really blame her.

I romanced Liara for the same reason lol, I was so juvenile back then...at 18 years old
Can't say Jack interested me right away. For 2 or 3 playthroughs I was so overloaded with the combined badassery of Garrus/Tali/Thane/Samara/Mordin/Legion that Jack was just this cool crazy person who swore a lot. I'd find out from her LM that she had this other rather sad side to herself, but I still thought her romance would be renegade-ish. I blame myself for getting into the hype before ME2 was releases, and being convinced she was for "bad boys". And then because the other characters were more "spectacular" and approachable than Jack, I didn't really pay her any mind. Once that drug wore off, and I finally saw these Awesome Godlike characters as normal squaddies, I could sit back and think "hmm, what's with this Jack character anyway---WHHHAAAAAA?".

Hahahah! Jack is classified as one of the most fearless creatures in the animal kingdom, she really doesn't give a sh!t. Look she just passed out from taking a rocket to the face, but she's gonna get right back up and start killing all over again because she's a bloodthirsty little bastardNinjapino wrote...
