I think he was refering to the couple that had sex with her then used her.

Yeah, I just wanted to show my appreciation for Jack, hope shes going to be awesome in ME3. Oh, and one thing I wanted to mention, I'm happy that the devs said that shes going to get some more hair, I liked her shaved hair in ME2 but there is nothing wrong with a little bit variety, I'd love to see her sporting a short undercut.

actually I was referring to the beginning of mass effect 3...
and was a bit tired...

Bonte15 said he hoped jack didn't feel like she did with her last boyfriend left her with Shepard leaving her.. I assumed he meant when Shepard is detained by the alliance that she could feel this way
I was saying i doubted Jack could compare the two relationships but it could happen

Somebody brought up a good point the other day: So far for the confirmed squadmates list there's been an adept (Liara), an engineer (Tali), an infiltrator (Garrus), the VS will be either a soldier or a sentinel, and Vega's probably a soldier (since he was using the widow. Plus, I mean, look at the guy).

It's interesting to note that nobody's really filled the role of part combat, part biotics that the Vanguard does.

So make it happen Bioware. Jack'll fill that hole you so desperately need filled. She knows a thing or two about that.

When you first get Jack she destroys three heavy mechs no problem. Then, in game, she throws out a few shockwaves, does a few pulls, and I keep having to spend medi-gels to revive her.

On BSN, minorities are loud. Some are louder than others, and Kaidan-fans are probably the loudest. I don't mind, but it just means you can't take polls like those seriously, since it's more of a race of who gets the most votes out of a small devoted pack than a real poll of the populace.

Cutscene Power To The Max. If Jack was as powerful in gameplay as she supposedly should be, she'd wreck absolutely everything. But I guess it's for the best that she can't take down three YMIR's in the blink of an eye outside the cutscenes, right?

Someone in the old thread posted that if Jack's gameplay abilities matched her cutscene performance, the only job for Shepard would be to hold Jack's drink for her. I always found it funny picturing that.

I was reading the old thread and I noticed it was the only character related thread not to get locked, ironic really.

Btw, if Jack could pull off what she could in cut-scenes, oh man.. that would be unfair to other characters hahaha.

Considering how tedious fighting YMIRs is, I certinally wouldn't object if Jack occasionally rampaged her way through them.

Though shockwave if fun. I like having her bounce an enemy out of cover, then hiting them with my sniper rifle while they're still in the air. Teamwork!

Also, between Jack, Garrus, and Infiltrator Shepard, I always have ammo appropriate for whatever threat I'm facing.

After seeing the biotic bubble in ME2 I could see Jack using her abilities to turn into a rolling biotic hamster ball of death.

Only LI based character thread. Samara and Joker are the only non LI's that have ever sparked any kind of discussion though. Another interesting avatar pic Spiros, I still like the one with Jack with her shades better.

You know how Jack say's she'll haunt you if she dies, (when she's about to go unconcious) I wonder.. will they add a variation to that if she's your LI?  "Shepard, you as*hole, do you see me taking bullets here?"  with a pissed but sarcastic tone of sorts, I don't know.  I love all her sayings when she uses a power or see's a new group of enemies.   I hope they keep "Fly B*tch!!!" because that one is my favourite - Courtenay made it sound so perfect, just the right amount of "FLYYYYY" then the way she says B*tch, ah too good.

I get that you don't make Squadis more powerful than the Protagonist, but Jack's bonuspower is a big joke.
It's useful of course, but she is maybe the most powerful human biotic, give her an awesome finisher!
If it's an balance issue, slap a big cooldown on it, for all I care.

Personally I feel there needs to be more variation in the playstyle of different squadmates because right now they're glorified extra powers. Jack would have been a perfect candidate for a glass cannon (insane amounts of damage with really low health). Unfortunately, she's just glass. If it weren't for Pull (and the fact that Jack is one of my favorite characters) she'd be stuck on the Normandy.

Same with everyone. Garrus taking on 3 merc bands solo. Samara flying around. Legion mowing down husks with reckless abandon. Thane neck snapping (he turned neck breaking into an art-form based on his dossier, but nooo can't do that more than once). I'm still waiting for Miranda to shoot a mechs head off at all, much less at 100 yards. Bunch of big-talkers who can't do anything in a real fight. Grunt is relatively the biggest pvssy out of all of them.

I can't really think of anything i'd want her to have except Warp because of the global cooldowns. Give her Throw or Singularity or Slam and I'm going to ignore it for Pull because it's just better. They probably should have given her Slam as a "omg so much power" factor but I'm glad they didn't, it's damn useless.

It was actually 4 mechs but yeah you're right.

Here's what I don't get about this Murtock fellow. If what Jack says is true, he used her for sex and biotics but was too much of a coward to express his plans and his feelings? So these two were fvck buddies, but he loved her, yet he didn't show that until he killed himself for her?
