I would be OK with keeping the Collector base (well not really, it is Reaper tech after all) if you could give it to the Alliance/Council... but I'm fairly certain you're handing it over to Cerberus, as it was the Illusive Man who asked you to save it, and the cutscene at the end shows him and a bunch of Cerberus ops studying the blueprint hologram of the base.

I wouldnt like it if it was forced on the player that Shepard never went to the Council/Alliance and gave them the IFF so they can kick Cerberus out of there. It seems logical to me. But then Shep wasforced to work for Cerberus an entire game. BW is hard to predict.

Anyway, I was more wondering how you guys would see Jack reacting about all that. Would she understand Shep's motives (if hes not pro-cerberus)?

Somehow im expecting she wont. Stubborn girl.

I seriously sat there for a bit and had to think about this decision. It took me a while, but in the end I figured I'd rather SOMEBODY have the tech. My Shepard hates Cerberus (yep, Akuze), but I figure that the Reapers are coming. I want somebody to have that tech, even if it is someone that will use it against the rest of the races in the end, at least for the time being somebody will have an edge. I know, probably going to bite my ass in the end, though.

Just like you my Shep has the Akuze background. Its part of why I see Jack trusting him (Im sure she wasnt expecting to find someone worth her time on a Cerberus ship). I hope they can keep that trust even if he saves the base (of all ppl why do we have to give that place to those who have the best record in experiments gone wrong ). I would definitly understand if she is pissed at first tho.


My main FemShep romanced Garrus and im excited about the continuation of that in mE3 but I have to say I starting to be even more curious about what will happen with Jack. If she has time to heal herself maybe they will be able to just enjoy life a bit next time they meet.

Someone said they would like if she turns out a bit like Starbuck a while ago. I think it would be nice. Anyway it will be surprising im sure. If she forgives my sheploo for keeping the base.

I don't remember what she says after you keep the base, but it wouldn't surprise me if she swore

But she'll get over it. You and her can go Cerberus killing in ME3 to make up for it.

Wow. Courtenay Taylor's been a busy woman. She just finished yet another audition. Not sure what it's for, but hopefully for more VA or film work so we can see more of her .

It's funny how the fascination with Jack bleeds unto Courtenay. She was one of the main reasons I went through Alpha Protocol (which was a great game, but beyond terrible on pc).

I'm really looking forward to this supposedly iconic character she's supposed to play. Hopefully she'll be able to spill the beans soon.

Well your forgetting something important, Shepard could go tell someone about it, but by the time they cut through all the red tape and beaucracy, while studying the ship, EDI, the IFF and question everyone they could get their hands on. Cerberus would have set up shop or taken everything not nailed to the floor. Then when they did decide to do something, the biggest problem would be that the Omega relay is in the Terminus. meaning they could never send a large force in, so they could only throw bug bites at the base. it would be a real stetch of the imagination to believe that Shepard could give that base to anyone but Cerberus.

Given that, I don't think Jack would be keen on it.

I figured it might not be the best way to keep her happy. If she says nothing id even be a bit disappointed Hopefully it wont go too wrong tho.

Well I could always come back and change my ME2 ending if it turns out way different then what I want in ME3. Or make a different renegade Shep to keep the base. Depending on how much time I have.

While we're discussing Cerberus in relation to Jack, I wonder how things will play out between Jack and Miranda now that Cerberus and TIM are clearly the bad guys. Jack will probably be like, "What did I tell ya, b*tch?." Another girlfight may be in the works (Samara-Morinth-esque where one kills the other). However, I also wonder if Miranda will actually admit to Jack that she was wrong about Cerberus being the good guys she thought they were.

I can see Miranda eventually apologizing to Sole Survivor Shepard (especially if Shepard is male and Miranda's in a romance with him) or admitting that what Cerberus did on Akuze and to Toombs was wrong... but she'll never appologize to Jack. I think that rivalry is too deeply ingrained.

The worst part is that they're in a pretty similar situation, considering both of their pasts: molded by an authority into something powerful they never really wanted to be. And yet Miranda can't empathize with Jack at all (which is quite hilarious, considering Jack is always made out to be a "psycho" of the crew).

Since Bioware mentioned something about our backgrounds still playing a role in ME3, I hope they can implement something with the whole Akuze situation, specifically going there and seeing what Jack would say. 

Jack:  "Seems like Cerberus fvcked you up too, eh Shep" 
Miranda: "This was clearly not Cerberus' fault!" or I can see her saying "You were clearly a mistake"    <--- lol (even though I do really like Miranda, some of her lines just make me want to yell!)

Holy crap!  That's some Jack dedication right there!  I dig it.   I only have two tattoos right now and one of them is the Spectre ensignia, but I'd say yours beats mine.

A few pages back people were talking about how cool it would be to have  Zaeed & Jack have a "Storytelling" rivalry. This is my first take on it; Anyone got inspirational shorts stories that could help me get some more of these out, just PM me.

Took me way too long to get this done, hopefully i can gradually cut down on the production time needed.

Its a little late , I'd like to get some details in writing but i need to get ready for tomorrow...
