Judging from Pink's history with drugs and her punk hairstyles, she has always kind of reminded me of Jack. "Sober" is another one of Pink's songs which fits Jack a lot.Goat_Shepard wrote...
Wow, Pink sounds very close to how I imagine Jack singing. Very uncanny.fainmaca wrote...
Okay. Mentioned this a couple of times about a year ago, but now I've found a video to back it up!
I once said that Pink's song 'I'm Not Dead' fit the tattooed biotic perfectly. Well here's a vid to prove it! www.youtube.com/watch

lol seriously? Idk how you listen to words and write dialogue at the same time, but Weekes has surprised me in the past. I admit I used to listen to Pink when I was much younger, so Patrick saying that amuses me .axl99 wrote...
Funny P!nk is mentioned here.

Anyway I think you could have expected someone would do something like this considering the topic:

Me like.

Totally Jack. If I had more time I'd shoop it but you get the idea.
And something ME3 related, does this look familiar?

It's bad enough Jack doesn't get to punch anyone outside of cut-scenes, but if Shepard literally takes her moves and she's still relegated to cinematic badassery in ME3, Bioware won't hear the end of it.

That's clearly OPEN PALM & CLOSED FIST Techniques from Jade Empire.
Bioware stole from it. Do your research please!
Also, what would Jack say if asked,
Q. If you were given the chance of fixing your past, if you could erase it completety and start over. If you could have a mostly normal life without all the horrors you have experienced. Would you accept?
I personally think she would be a bit offended as the question implies she's a freak and not normal. On the other hand I don't think anyone would deny the choice regardless of how much they enjoy their power. I could imagine an Alternate Universe where Jack ends up at JUMP ZERO and eventualy becoming an Allaince Corsair while Kaidan ends up in the Ceberus Death Camp. Maybe they both end up with Shepard reagrdless.
What would a PSYCHO Kaidan sound like?

Well, Bioware can't steal what they own. I was saying Shepard clearly stole Jack's biotic punch abilities and is just now implementing them in ME3.Confused-Shepard wrote...

I do need to play JE, though, thanks for the reminder.
Are we talking complete memory wipe or selective like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? Yes to the latter, but I'm not Jack. She says she wants those memories gone but I don't think she'd get rid of them at the price of her identity, even though she doesn't even know her identity. Sh!t, it's complicated. She seems to have an "apple by any other name is still an apple" philosophy so I think she herself would say no if it meant going under the knife and all that junk, but who knows. Also, what would Jack say if asked,

It's scary that they could have easily switched places. My answer is simple that Jack would be a female version of Kaidan and vice versa, that's why I empathize with Jack despite never having those experiences, because it seems like a logical disposition to have after facing so much adversity. What would a PSYCHO Kaidan sound like?

That screenshot with Shepard looks more like a biotic slap than a biotic punch.
Jack: What is that?
Shepard: a biotic punch?
Jack: ****, you even fight like a ****.
Shepard: It's an open palm strike, a tried and true way-
Jack: -to look like a your a ****ing schoolgirl fighting on the playground. When you're that close to some dumb ****head you don't smack him away, you punch his goddamn head off!
Shepard: Then how come I've only ever seen you do that once?
Jack: Because usually if they get that close they're already dead.
Shepard: Good point.

actually jack's wrong an open palm strike can be just as deadly than a punch not to say a jack's biotic punch isn't deadly. here

I was listening to a lot of Disturbed the other weekend, and I feel their song "Numb" really fits the darker, sadder parts of Jack's backstory, particularly the whole "little girl crying in her cell" part. Check out the lyrics at some point if you are a Jackolyte. It's actually really cool how well they fit parts of her life and personality.

Now you made it more interesting. You could do a go back in time and make it so that the doctor who lied to Jack's mother gets a shotgun colonoscopy and Jack has a healthy childhood and life in generel, goes to JUMP ZERO, joins the military, meets this handsome, able bodied, hot shot, super soldier Commander Shepard and the rest is history.
OR, you could put her in that ETERNAL SUNSHINE machine and basically remove her entire past. Because her entire life has been a living hell. I mean she was literally born in the concentration camp. This would render her a blank slate similar to Grunt. You could of course give he fake memories but what would the point be except for a more positive outlook on life and less anger. She would still be a wanted fugitive.
In short, my guess is that she would say NO because neither of those cases would be Jack. It's all a product of nurture, the environment you grow up in. The best that can be done for her is to re-insate her faith in humanity and at least try to give her a better life. By that I mean military life with decent pay & tons of perks such that you can live somewhat luxuriously and not constantly on the run for your life fighting criminals and thugs. Or hell become a Specter... COMPLETE IMMUNITY FROM EVERYTHING EVER. I BLEW UP A SYSTEM JACK AND JUST GOT A SLAP ON THE WRIST. SERIOUSLY, THE PERKS ARE INSANE!!
Hillarious idea for ME 3:
Cerberus catches Shepard and puts him in a dream machine that makes him beleive he's an average american living in 22nd Century sub-urbia. His Love Interest is his stereotypical (Think 1950's & 60's) housewife.
Jack in an apron making pancakes and calling Shepard sweetie.
Shepards's Reaction: HAHAHAHA!!! OH GOD! YOU CERBERUS PEOPLE ARE SO STUPID! AS IF! HAHAHA!

I haven't seen the complete Adept punch, so he might clench his fist as he lunges forward. Either way, Shepard and Jack are both basically using Force Push letting the biotics do most of the work, so the tightness of their grip probably matters less than the speed of their strike. We know that biotics use choreography to cast their biotics, so that raises the question as to the resulting biotic differences between the open hand v.s the clenched fistSoccer FeverMan wrote...

That's one of my favorite Disturbed songs. It is indeed cool how well they fit together, just about all the lyrics, actually, the elevating anger after each verse. Great post.NecronPariah wrote...
So, I've lurked in these Jack threads for quite a while, and since I saw the comments on songs that fit Jack, I figured I might as well put in my two cents.

My 0.02 is a song by Tool called Cold & Ugly. Reminds me of Jack.
Sounds good to me. Not sure how a shotgun could be used during a colonoscopy, though. What if it was loaded?Confused-Shepard wrote...

Exactly. Since her past made her into who she is now, deleting it would leave her with a baseless reputation and a partial history of violence and emotions she has no answers for. I think if asked she would say that doesn't change what happened, that the brutality of the universe would still remain no matter how deep you bury your head in sand.OR, you could put her in that ETERNAL SUNSHINE machine and basically remove her entire past. I loled even though I can't remember what this is from. Star Trek or the Twilight Zone or maybe The Outer Limits? Bah idk.Hillarious idea for ME 3:

I've thinking about Jack's story lately, and I can't seem to get this song out of my head. It's called 'Lazarus' by the band Circa Survive. The awesome thing is that the lyrics fit Jack's story perfectly, and the name 'Lazarus' reminds me of TIM's Lazarus Project.
Love this, thanks for sharing. The lyrics really do fit Jack's story.
Never heard of this group, gonna check out some more songs
I would share some songs that I think fit Jack, but I lean more to instrumental type music, usually without lyrics, so I don't know if anyone would get the same vibe as me

I'd say the Scimitar fits best... Jack is aggressive and Vanguardy. The rapid-fire Scimitar complements that... it's great for getting in people's faces and spraying them with shrapnel.
Gameplay-wise, it's relatively weak against armor, but Jack's Warp Ammo power helps with that.
