Ash: You're welcome, y'know I never would have pegged you as someone who likes poetry.

Jack: Just 'cause I can blow up mechs with my mind doesn't mean I can't like sensitive ****.

Shepard: I was just...making my rounds...as usual. I-I should go.

I like that Jack "borrowed" some of Shep's N7 armor in this one.

Also I like that it's awesome. :P

Yeah that is a preety cool pic.The armor suits her. And she still comes off looking badass and sexy.Kinda reminds me of that cyborg and punk rock chick from Image Comics - Ladytron (Maxine Manchester)Posted Image

I don't think Jack would view the Alliance as being all that different from Cerberus, and for all we know she could be right. But if your Shepard is pro-Alliance she may give them the benefit of doubt because of it.

I wouldn't mind Jack rocking some armor like that.  Seems like a good mixture of her personality.

Jack might not be terribly fond of the Alliance's rules or anything but if she was willing to work with Shepard on a Cerberus ship, I have to say she'd probably have a much easier time trusting him or her on an Alliance Ship.

Hey guys, just noticed something about Jack I never saw before.

Her scars. For me, it was kinda hard to see until I got a better TV. She has a... double-reverse Y incision scar across her chest, down the length of her torso and across her naval. Jesus! I'm assuming that happened to her when she was a Cerberus test subject, too surgical to be anything else. That's... what the heck were they doing? Y incisions are only really used for autopsies. Were they rearranging organs to see if any biotically beneficial effect occured? Ever since I noticed the scar it's hard to stop thinking about it when she's in my party in game.

There's also some kind of scar on her back, but I can never get a good look at it. Anyone have a good pic?

I think this is my favorite character fan thread. Intelligent discussions, great art, and minimal sexual objectification. You guys rock.

Also, Jack gets points for having the most naturally expressive face in Mass Effect 2.

I might pop back in here more regularly, since I'm definitely a Jack fan.

I think we know who we need to get now if they ever decide to bring our girl Jack to the big screen!

That's amazing!

Also, while I'm here, never did get an opinion out of you guys on how I handled a kind-of Miranda/Jack resolution. Thoughts?

I think it was sort've stretching it. Then again, i haven't gone through the previous episodes , so i might change my opinion after i do that. Personally i don't see them getting along at all; I'd see Miranda's pride & Jack's defiant nature getting in the way.

Please, keep the OP simple >_<

Maybe a couple of screenshots, links to relevant interviews (Courtenay Taylor, Bioware writers and so on), concept arts by Matt Rhodes (from his DeviantArt account, NO illegal scans from the artbook because we don't want any trouble).

I won't be popular for saying this, but please NO fan art or fan fiction in the OP: I mean, there is already so much fan stuff out there that you either add it all or you add none. We don't want any "please add my fanart to the OP" or it will turn into a creepy shrine.

Well and good, but I still think your "Doors" story should be included in the OP.

A bit less objectifying than majority of the Miranda types, if I do say so myself. I sense the tides of war looming in. :o

Dang, people were calling her "SuZy" (Subject Zero)... boy am I glad that didn't stick, lol.

Haha, same here. "SuZy" doesn't seem to suit her at all, at least not in my opinion.

It's kind of awesome that Mr. Weekes' response to Jack's character is similar to my initial response. I wonder if he still has that same opinion about Jack when he finishes writing her story for ME3. So far, Courtenay Taylor and some other guy I can't remember choked up at Jack's ME3 story, so I'm thinking she'll show an even deeper and emotional side of her come ME3.

And the name 'Suzy' sounds too tame to be Jack.

It's not just the Miranda thread.  The threads for Ash and Kaidan consist mostly of bad photoshops and whatever character topless.  Thread Garrus is 90% fangirl squeeing (which I occasionally participate in, shame of all shames).  And don't get me started on Tali and Liara.

Sure, intelligent discussion does take place, and there are some really deep discussions going on, but it all inevitably leads back to how hot X is.

I'm just glad to find a thread about a romance character where I can chill and not feel uncomfortable because I don't want to sex up said character.

Also this one has the best art.

I agree. I am sick and tired of people wasting entire comments over and over again saying "Dat ass!" or some other objectifying bullcrap.

It shows in how many pages we have compared to the other fan threads, lol.   I do enjoy all the characters, but sometimes when going in other threads, all I see is what you mentioned; how hot X is, or I've even seen people state that Shepard isn't worthy of X character.  It's their opinion, obviously, but sometimes it's a bit much lol.
We also have good music :P

I'm really excited to see the Ashley/Jack confrontation in ME3. I can't imagine Shepard dumping Jack to go back to Ashley - for one, that's just a jerk move - and in a weird way, I think Jack is better for Shepard. Ashley actually brought out some bad qualities in him; I play mine as struggling with xenophobia (really, Garrus is the only alien that he genuinely liked, and he went and got himself killed) and other aspects of thinking he's right all the time, go Humans, 'Merica, etc. Ashley seemed to encourage these sorts of things, while Jack is more than willing to call him out on his BS. Shepard and Jack balance each other out, while Shepard and Ashley are too similar, and their negative qualities would likely continue to amplify.

I also hope Jack is able to be the 'better woman' when the catfight breaks out; I can see Ashley being initially very disdainful about this punk criminal Shepard is with, and I'd love to see Jack act super polite (in a completely sarcastic way) just to ****** Ashley off even further.

Jack: "Yes ma'am, lieutenant ma'am."

Still, I don't think the Ashley-Jack conflict will be worse than, say, Ashley-Garrus, Ashley-Thane, Ashley-Tali, and possibly Ashley-Samara/Morinth (if the latter two are romanceable in ME3).

It'll break my heart if Jack can be dumped for another romance in ME3, even if I'd never see it myself, like the fact that Jack can be rejected by Shepard in ME2. Never watched the scene, it's bad enough to know that someone, somewhere, is cruel enough to do that.

I mean, the player should always have that choice. But part of me will still die inside. :(
