^I think Shepard starts out just trying to understand Jack, because she is so far removed from his experiences. If nothing else he's trying to assess the danger she represents. Eventually he comes to trust her as a squadmate, and goes with her to Pragia because he wants to help her. But as he learns more about her, he start caring for her as more than a teammate.

From Jack's perspective, it's no surprise she doesn't expect to have feelings for anyone, especially not a Boy Scout like Shepard.

Side note: I cannot bring myself to romance Miranda. Every time I plan on it, I get up to the point of initiating the romance and say "eff this, I'm romancing Tali." Every time.

Sadly, I have way too curly of hair, so I'm only able to rock the "Mr. T" type mohawk at best unless I wanted to buy a straightener and use it everyday.  My best friend is a female with a mohawk, though, and she just wears a wig when she goes to work.

Also, @Chaplain Tappman, noticed your signature.......King of battle > queens any day.  :D  Hooah!

The biggest problem my mohawk had was that my hair curves in the middle of my head, so if I didn't spike it up it looked kind of like a squirrel was sitting on my head.

And the king don't put it where the queen don't want it.

I love that type of hair, Jack could rock that, just add the tattoo's on the side and bam.   Depending on what type of hair she gets, I wonder what Bioware excuse is going to be to how she grew that much hair in whatever time frame.  The hair on my head grows abnormally fast, so I couldn't rock the moahawk for too long because of the sides growing going from bald to buzz in like 1 week lmao.  Maybe Jack has the same issue ;) lol

I didn't much care for that picture, I would have rathered the I think it was FemShep 1 short hairstyle. I guess the answer to how her hair would grow so fast would be the same as BW's answer to everything, "Its the future" aka "A wizard did it" lol.

I have the same problem, fortunately I have a hair trimmer that goes all the way down to 1 millimeter, works great for keeping your sides really short. (Heck, I use it to shave my face too!)

Perhaps Jack just got tired of trimming her hair every week.

Shepard: Jack have you seen my razor?

Jack: No! Why ask?

Shepard: Well I haven't shaved  in a while.

Jack: So what? You've got the whole scruffy look going for you.

Shepard: Can I borrow yours then?

Jack: Went missing after the refit. But you can use my spare.

Shepard: Alright (Jack pulls out a large knife) What the hell is that?

Jack: Turian combat talon, took if off one of those ****-brained Blue Suns mercs on Purgatory. Gets nice and close, just as long as you don't cut your ****ing jaw off.

Shepard: You shaved your head with this?

Jack: Just for the last month, and not all of it, it's damn hard to get the back of my head without gouging my brains out. That's why I have the new haircut.

That reminds me of Riddick, during the first movie (Pitch Black), there's a scene where he uses his knife to shave his head with some type of gooey substance.

Now that you bring up Riddick all I can see is Jack sitting down in The Illusive Man's chair muttering to herself "You keep what you kill"

And next to her is TIM with Jack's shaving knife sticking out his chest. In the distance, every indoctrinated Cerberus operative bows down to Jack. :o

In regards to Jack crying, I doubt we'll be seeing that from her again. I'd imagine a line of her jokingly saying to Shepard, "you've seen me cry, you KNOW I can't let you live now."

"Don't you mention this to ANYONE!"

There's been a few tweets stating Courtenay Taylor crying in the booth, so I'm assuming those were related towards Jack in ME3.

It's like her head has darker skin tone compared to the rest of her body
Might be the lighting.

I've been doing my Canon playthrough (still in ME1) and I noticed while being on the Presidium, that it would be interesting having Jack walking through there with Shepard. She'd probably say the same thing about the Presidium, that she did about Illium, "Lot's of soft people".

No kidding.  Deem abs!

Definitely not as pretty as with that tattoo though, but still beautiful of course.

My first thought was, "wow, she is...incredibly scantily clad." Funny how I don't notice it as much with the tattoos and scars - they make her look as if she's wrapped up in a mural, I guess. Not surprised about the muscles, considering our first glimpse of her involves punching a mech to death.

"My blood! She punched out ALL my blood!'

I actually really like the naked look for her. I certainly appreciate her ink, but she's just too much of it. It looks like she's wearing clothes, which dulls the shock of her being naked all the time.

I prefer the tattoo's, but that's probably because of what they represent for her and the value of them. Either way, I find it looks funny, just too used to the tattoo's. If she was designed differently, then who knows (less tattoo's, more skin, maybe different hairstyle too).

I prefer the tattoos because a, I like tattoos, and b, not having them accentuates how ridiculous her strapshirt is.

I prefer the tattoos too. But I would still like her character just as much if she didn't have them.
And I definitely agree that "not having them accentuates how ridiculous her strapshirt is."^

That screenshot is also funny looking because her body is modded to have no tattoos, but her neck and head are not... kinda weird to only have tattoos above the neck line of the strap-bra. You can mod those off too just as easily (I assume TexMod was used).

I'm so used to seeing Jack with ink that seeing her without it just seems wrong.

On the subject of crying, I sort of want a locker scene like we had in ME1 where Jack's there for Shepard.

Jack: Hey.

Shepard. Hey.

Jack: You alright? Been out of it for a few days.

Shepard: I have no idea what I'm doing. The Reapers are everywhere, Earth's gone, and there's nothing I can do to stop them.

Jack: ****. You sound like a ****.

Shepard: What?

Jack: You heard me. You might think that you're the ****ing hero here who has save everyone by himself. You're wrong. You have a kickass ship, a crew that's ready to fight and you have me. I don't care if I have to drag you kicking and screaming 'till those flying toasters bite it but I'm with you Shepard. (offers Shepard a hand up)

Shepard: (takes Jack's hand) What would I do without you?

Jack: (smiles)  Sit around an wonder why your life is so ****ing boring?

You must remember that Shepard seen to change people accourding to what liara say about miranda been a less of a cold person, she might be a different character in me3 if u romance her, that would be part of the character development. I know this is not a good example but me1 liara change from me2 liara. I would be glad happy that jack change for the better cause she was only act like because how she always been screwed over in her life and shepard finally walk in and change her dont u think that she deserve a lil happiness and dont always walk around mad at the world and this where jack is more mature walks in

I actually expect all the characters to change to some degree or another in ME3.  It may be posted in this very thread, but I seem to recall Casey saying that Jack would react to Shepard depending on how Shep treated her.  If that's the case, my broShep is in trouble.  My femshep on the other hand treated her quite well, in a "mother/troubled teenage daughter" sort of way.
