Wouldn't that just undo any good from having Jack spare Aresh, from Jack's POV it would seem hypocritical.

I don't see it that way. She disdains Aresh for wanting to restart the place, and by having her spare him, she acknowledges after the mission (on ship) that she thinks she's above that for not killing him.

Me deciding to kill him because I thought he deserved it is different. I'm not doing it to be a murderer, and I wasn't about to let her do it for that reason either.

 FWIW Miranda is high on my list of squadmates I want back. Other than the fact that I could "connect" to Jack on a friendly/romantic level moreso than Miri, I do like her for very much the same reasons. Strong, fiercely independent woman who makes no apologies for being who she is (unsurpising that the two of them quickly had a problem with each other).

I feel the same way, basically, though Miranda is the one I tend to be drawn to a bit more. But Jack is cool in my book as well. They're pretty similar, really, in certain respects, once you get past the superficial stuff.

So, as you say, of course they don't get along

That may be your logic, but I doubt that anyone else would view it that way. If this person needs to die, then dead is dead, doesn't matter who does it. For any reason you can think of that he deserves to die, her reason is better. If you would classify what she was going to do as murder, then Shepard turning around and doing it would be murder as well.

Its not like your protecting her from killing, because as soon as you leave you ask her to go kill a bunch of people. The only way you can call yourself protecting her in that spot, is to let him walk away. "Do what I say, not as I do" has always rang rather hollow.

I admit I'm almost upset that Miranda did not make it out of my suicide mission alive - I think seeing her interactions with Jack in ME3 would be fascinating. Plus that glorious moment if she stays loyal for Cerberus and tries to get in our way, I can imagine Jack hopping up and down and saying, "Can I kill her? Please? Pleeeaaase?" and my Shepard just nodding.

I do like to think that, despite my Shepard and Jack not getting along with Miranda, that she died a hero in the Collector Base, so they shared a toast in her honour.

Yea i think that Jack would always have a hate spot for Miranda just because of what she said after the loyal mission. I dont think Jack would ever forget that unless Miranda admit that she was wrong but we all know she not going to do that. and i also wondering what if there a samara vs morinoth with jack and miranda >=). lol i will choose jack of course >=)

I don't know if someone has already posted this or not! This is the page of one of the guys who have worked on the Blur trailers of Mass Effect 2 and the first shot is Jack. It was used only for a flash-video half hidden in the main page. Obviously they were given old concept art, since the Blur design does not match Jack's in-game look... but it's awesome nonetheless www.eklettica.com/masseffect2.html

Woah, still a pretty face.  I really like the "HUMAN" tattoo with the skull on her back.  Thanks for sharing!

-EDIT-  Such a great view of her tattoo's as well.  On a curious note, we don't ever see if she has tattoo's on her legs right? Now I want her to wear a pair of shorts in ME3, lmao.

That feat is impressive if you did that on accident.

She was not loyal (sided with Jack during their confrontation), and was the only one to die during the final segment where everyone stays behind to hold the door while Shepard goes off to take down the reaper.

I only heard the voice, never actually saw the NPC it was coming from. It was some random background person while you are being escorted to the stranded leader, Griffin.

Yeah, until we hear some more news with Jack, this thread will probably be quiet, but I don't mind.  I'd rather it stay silent for a few days, rather than repeating the same topics over and over again.
