Legion: Shhheppard hic , commander. We do not understand why you're such a ... buzzkill.

Jack : Yeah! Sheppard, commander buzzkill!

Legion: LALZ

Shep: Is he drunk? I mean "It" ... I mean "They" ? Why did you ... HOW did
you... It doesn't make sense they're computer programs , that's not even
possible!

Legion: Beginning extranet search protocol : Boobs

Jack : LALZ

Shep: That. Is. It. I never leaving you two unsupervised.

Jack : Hit it Legion !

Legion : *Plays* Drumcorps - Down

Shep : Jack , Legion isn't your personal Jukebox either .... Jack? ... JACK!

---Later that evening , when Shep & Jack have both pass out *Play* A perfect circle -Thomas ---

"Yes.. Everyone's been leading very interesting lives in Shepard's absence."

Since Jack is obviously one of the "everyone", just thought I'd pop this tweet in here.

I think she might be looking for her Mom and have a temp mission to that effect.

I've always thought that idea would be interesting because of the conversations those two could have concerning family, love, and other topics that Jack might not be to fond of thinking/talking about because of her past. Could add an element of Shepard's background as well, since mine was Earthborn and didn't have a family, he might not be able to reassure her of the importance of family.

It might be more suited for fanfiction though, since those are able to go into greater detail.

That feat is impressive if you did that on accident.

She was not loyal (sided with Jack during their confrontation), and was the only one to die during the final segment where everyone stays behind to hold the door while Shepard goes off to take down the reaper.

Seriously? I was under the impression she survives everything except being with you to fight the Human Reaper. Her plot armor is pretty impressive so I figured she was almost invincible.

Miranda also ''accidentally'' died in my canon playthrough (2nd playthrough), I didn't know that getting her killed is  hard?

I sure hope that events that took place during the romance & loyalty mission affects the "interesting" tidbit. Seems to me like it would make for very different types of outlooks on life after that.

We can but hope. With all this MP hype, I wonder how much of the core game is getting sidelined.

Eh. I don't really like this idea so much. Don't get me wrong, I want Jack to grow and I enjoy that she's slowly becoming more trusting of people but this seems to be a stretch for her character. I get the impression that after the loyalty mission Jack lets the past be past and is able to finally move on in life. Searching for her mother would kind of detract from that growth in that she's still in a state of unrest about her past.

I agree with you idoless. Plus, in my mind Jack's mom is an anti-alliance/anti-biotic protester and I don't want my little bubble to burst.

I'm sure others will say the same of their favourite characters, but;

I've always thought that Jack was a very complex & nuanced character. I can see a Paragon-ish outcome where she could try to move on and be more trustful of others , but i have no doubt that a Renegade romance & Loyalty mission wouldn't be the same. In fact it would push her to the polar opposite : Angry , remorseful and even more on a path of self destruction.

Considering the choice made ,I wouldn't want a one size-fits all Jack for Me3. And i'd say the same of others . Similarly ,Tali comes to mind as a character with a lot of potential for varied Me3 outcomes.

So, something I've been thinking about lately.

In Jack's LOTSB documents, in the transcript that shows her being taken from her mother, her mother is identified only as UW. Could be (and probably is)... unidentified woman, but we do know a certain Doctor on Eden Prime with the last name of W...

Dr. Warren. Thank the maker!

>_> Just a random thought. That's reaching back into ME1, though... then again, Admiral Kahoku DID mention Jack in Mass Effect 1, so...

As to what Jack might be up to in Mass Effect 3? Well... I'm not so sure I want her to go find her mother. It kind of sends a strange message, that one can survive hell and all its' demons, but they can't live as a complete human being without making contact with their biological parent. It bothers me, like those kids who after years of happy family life, their parents tell the child that they were adopted, and then the kid goes off on some parent/soul searching quest. There IS a reason their biological parent isn't in their life, usually a good one, and it's probably not as fantastic as, I-was-kidnapped-by-a-pro-human-terrorist-cell-for-the-express-purpose-of-creating-a-biotic-super-soldier.

What purpose could it serve? It would only remind Jack and her mother (and any other family members) that Cerberus had stole whatever chance she'd had to be "normal". I mean, a reunion would probably be emotional, cloyingly so, but the "message" I got from Jack's loyalty mission, dead Aresh or not, was that you can kill the past or put it behind you but either way, it's past.

Proposed situation: Jack seeks out a mother (and family) who...
- may not be alive.
- might be better off not knowing what she's suffered, it being too painful to dredge up old memories.
- who might not accept her, and she, them.

Not to say that the answers to those issues aren't worth finding out, but to do it all for the sake of closure that Jack has already gotten with her past? That's like Jack's loyalty mission, The Remake!

If this is addressed in the next game, I hope there's some other avenues that she can explore aside from this.

Oh, well my ME1 memories are a little fuzzy, but Admiral Kahoku sends you a transmission while you're on the Normandy.... I think you have to be going to a certain area to get it. He said that Cerberus, an "Aliance splinter group" was doing testing to create some kind of biotic super-soldier.

They've retconned the "Alliance splinter group" bit out of existence for ME2, but the rest of it points to Jack. Tela Vasir, during LOTSB also confirms it, when she said, "Kidnapping kids for biotic death camps? Silencing Admirals that ask too many questions?"

If I could find a clip of on it on Youtube, I'd post it...

That wouldn't make sense in the timeline though, since she escaped as a child and the facility shut down way before the events of ME1. I don't remember ever hearing that line, I'll check it out though.

I wish there was a good compilation of Jack's romance scenes on Youtube... the only decent one I found literally has like every line she's ever said and explores all dialogue options... which is nice, but it gets grating to hear the same thing over and over...

Now that I have a camera, next Male Shep I play, I'll record those scenes myself.

So, Isabela/Varric/Alistair from DA2 get their own comic book adventures (see DA2 forums). Now I demand a comic book with Jack, Miranda and Garrus for the lulz!
