I thought that Jack's redesign was to make her look a little more subdued, or, at least, at-peace with herself. Does a mohawk signify that?

Totally. Especially if it's pink.

Honestly I would rather see her character model largely unchanged. Hair, not important. Hair on her at this point is for the people who actually argued that Jack was an ugly character when in fact she is one of the most beautiful. I support BW since they want her to soften a fraction and mature. But maturity doesn't necessarily function as an outside change. Jack should in no way be made to change her appearance. She's lithe and powerful, fragile with an unbreakable will. She is the beauty of contradiction. I would hope that as her character grew after the events of ME 2, the only real outward change she may have decided was a catsuit with cuts in it to still display her tats. Jack is a very unique character, one of the most original I've seen in years. The rebel, killer, woman, lover, and all around antihero. I hope and pray that BW doesn't bend to the will of people who think outward beauty as the definitive. I hope and pray that BW will continue to keep all things that made Jack Jack.

Are we sure she's getting hair at all tho?  Wearing mor than a belt across the nipples could also be a redesign that makes her look more subdued.

That way she can keep her sexy shaved head look :)

Wasn't it mentioned that she's getting hair that's shaved on the sides and long in the back?

Perhaps I'm not "in the know" but i thought all that was confirmed was that Jack's character model had gone through a redisgin.  So did Kaiden, but his hair remains the same.  Or perhaps I'm just holding out hope because I think very short or shaved heads are kinda sexy on a woman :)

I too think Jack would look better as she is, shaved head 'an all!

I hope Jack will wear something like her alternate appearance, without that silly visor of course.
And those badass boots. Please, we already have too many women running on high heels.

Damnit... the gaming industry already lacks girls with shaved heads... they didn't have to remove one of the only ones.  Guess it's back to watching V for Vendetta and the Alien films...

Same here.  People seem to think I'm odd because I love girls with short, stylized hair, but I think it's sexy as hell.  Seriously, you put two twins next to each other and give one short hair or a mohawk or something and I'm picking that one every time.  (assuming I have a chance with these women.....as long as I'm giving hypotheticals only, right?)

God, I hated that visor....I seriously thought that was her best outfit, but those sunglasses or whatever they were supposed to be just ruined it.....they looked dumb as hell.

Indeed... though,  I really loved her full make up in blackswan...  it was swoon worthy indeed.

I'm pretty sure Bioware wont change her too radically, maybe the'll have her hair grow out a bit and your probably right about the change in outfit as for her personality I'm sure it will be similar to the change in Garrus and in Tali  from me1 to me2 and that is what I'm really looking forward to in me3 just how the events of me2 effected her

as for softening her and making her mature I'm fine with that as long as Bioware presents it in a realistic way....and Bioware usually does a fantastic job of that so no worries.

God yes plz. I dont want her punk attitude ruined by some high heels. (sorry if that sounds superficial. i guess its the little designer in me crying. She could wear anything and still be herself, i jsut prefer she doesnt)

Heck, Jack was my favorite romance in ME2. I hope they don't change her too awful much. I'm kind of on the fence about her ponytail with shaved sides look though, if that turns out what it is. I really liked her shaved head look. But I suppose I can wait until some images are released.

Same voice actress. Similar abilities. Same character arch. Same Personality. I'm guessing Jack'll get a similar haircut.

I'm with both of you on that.
I admit I fell in love with Jack's appearance when I first saw glimpses of her in trailers and such. And then her personality turned out to be epic, which made me love her character more!

Slurms, I think the 1st one or the 3rd one would be best if she goes with a full mohawk, just cuz the fringe in the face makes it more feminine looking.

I don't want to derail the conversation but... Jack and Juhani have different tastes ;-)

But yes, the similarity is even more evident when Juhani equips one of those silly sci-fi visors.

I'm hoping that nothing drastic is done. I mean, it just wouldn't feel like Jack if little is left of who she is. Looking at BW's direction in ME, it offers hope that minimal changes may occur.

Hi there... looking forward to see Jack raiding the terminus with her pirate gang, or whatever she should be doing in ME3..

I already have this route prepared. On my renegade Male Shepard playthrough, Ive got the Normandy turned as much into a pirate ship as possible.

Romanced Jack (first mate in charge of executions) and killed everyone else off except:
Zaeed (a merc so Im sure he's down for some space piracy as backup muscle)
Kasumi (to hack and dissable other ships, break into bank accounts ect...)
Morinth (to seduce other Captains and pilots to facilitate easier space-jacking)
and I still have Grunt in cold storage in case something happens to Zaeed :)

What do you mean different tastes? They both start off as pissed off and powerful super beings. And eventually reveal that they've had awful lives. They struggle with anger issues more than any other characters, and eventually calm down. In fact, Juhani eventually becomes a excellently controlled Jedi.
