I would like more talking. Her last scene was very emotional without it, but the rest of it was taken up by kissing and I'd like them to talk a bit more, before anything else. The only romance scene with less dialogue and more... everything else was Miranda's I think. In fact... I think Jack has the shortest romance scene!

On a separate note, I was on the Thane thread and I posted the link to Thane's jealousy scene. All the LI's have one. Tali for instance goes, "This means a lot to me, but I don't want to... share you... Lets talk again, once you've made that clear to Miranda". But Thane, Garrus, Miranda and Jacob don't mention the other person by name.

Has anyone heard Jack's dialogue in that instance?

Only ever romanced Jack on my playthroughs. I once got into the romance with tali by mistake, but when she started saying she didn't want to share me i backed out quickly. That's one thing I hope they make absolutely clear in ME3. i don't want any of my bros or hos suddenly going all gooey eyed over me because of what i thought was an innocent comment.

Just looked over the conflict dialogue between Jack and Miranda, suddenly not so sure that I've managed to make the resolution between the two in my fic all that believeable. There's a lot of anger there, so I think i may have made the resolution a little too brisk. what do you two think would make the pair finally decide to put up with one another?

also, in another observation, all three of ManShep's romances are jeopardised by Squad conflicts, but none of femsheps. seems a little unfair. reckon we'll see FemShep risking the loss of her beau through siding with the wrong person in ME3?

Now I'm wondering what Jack says when Shepard says, "You mean Tali/Miranda?"  Probably something even more abrasive...

Even though I'm primarily a Talimancer, I'm still miffed that all of the ME2-only squadmates get sidelined for the ME1 characters. I feel bad for Martin Shepard whose LI was Jack. Hopefully, when the final game comes out, Miranda and Jack(at the very least) will be promoted to permanent squadmates. The Tali & Garrus fans shouldn't be the only ones to have our cake, and eat it too.

I'd just settle for them devoting one slot on the team roster to the player's specific Love Interest character. if they didn't have one, they get Conrad Verner.

Oh, he meant only one mission. That's unfortunate, but I honestly wasn't expecting much more. With the whole, "anyone can die" thing, they really limited themselves.

I swear, if Beattie doesn't end up getting Mordin's role...I'm going to be fairly disappointed.

I'll be frank, nothing about Me3 has really got me excited. Casey keeps saying that this is 'the best place to start the series from' and all that crap, which really winds me up, but I've yet to see him prove it. Nothing about what I've seen so far, be it trailer, leaked footage or press release, has topped what i experienced with ME2. I'm afraid the second in the trilogy may have been Bioware's peak.
Not having old VAs reprise their roles when they're willing to do so and short-changing the majority of their fanbase just further adds insult to injury.

Your buddy Anderson pulled some strings and gave me the option to "pay my debt to society" by working here. Sounded better than spending time in the slammer and I figured it would kill time while you got your **** together.

Shepard: Jack, when Hackett asked me to rescue Kenson I had no idea-

Jack: Quit it, if I was pissed off with you you'd know it.

Shepard: Its just that after we heard reports of colonies going dark I thought that I'd never see you again. I didn't want how we left things to be it for us.

Jack: Same here, after we heard about Earth from the refugee ships I thought you went and got yourself killed. (laughs) Look at us, first time we see eachother in months and we're acting like a couple of ****ing saps.

Shepard: (hugs Jack) I missed you.

Jack:  Missed you too, (pokes finger into Shepard's chest) but if you try to pull **** like this again I will kick your ass understand?

Shepard: Yes m'am.

When I read about this it made me loose a majority of my interest in the game. Maybe 60% or so.

Why did they even bother adding in those other characters just to take them away? If they had just left it with the original six, they wouldn't have this problem. Sure, we wouldn't have had these other characters, but then we wouldn't have known about them at all.

What was the problem with choosing your squadmates again?

Not saying that most have only played ME2, just that a much larger portion have played ME2 than have played ME1. All PS players are denied access to ME1 except through Genesis, and a number of PC/Xbox players will have got ME2 because it had a much bigger marketing drive/ received better reviews and awards. Just a logical conclusion. More people have played ME2 than 1.

So we can't say that Bioware's responding to the largest communities out there. They're only responding to the most vocal.

Essentially, most of the ME2 cast is only getting one mission, which I don't find a bad thing because of what I stated:

The relationship shouldn't be restricted to just being developed over missions, per say. There is still room for them to spend time with each other and develop more, maybe some specific dialogue because she's romanced. I really do believe she will still have a great role regardless of having one mission.

Also, there was a leak if you didn't already know and apparently Jack is doing something that either some of agree with or we don't find it working with her character. Just read back a few pages and you'll get caught up. A warning though, there might be some spoilers in there, in case you don't want to see anything, don't look back a few pages, lol.
