Sorrel's chapters tend to be nice and to the point, almost like episodes in a series. I love them that way. Mine are usually 6,000+ word behemoths and I try to release them two at a time...mostly because I ususally start writing ahead of myself a bit.

Sorrel, that is EPIC. I'd pay more for that than a lithograph.

Just saying that there are amazing stories with much longer chapters, almost 3,000 words is childs play to some writers.

I would know, I've write amazingly long stuff and short stuff, however my stories usually are original ideas so you won't see any of my writings on here or on FF so you won't be able to judge them.

Actually, I'd have to take the other side on that one. It's much harder to make your point and be epic in half the words. I tend to be a wordy person, so it comes out in my writing. XD Read her fic, there's no "child's play" there. Lol. You won't regret it, I promise, it's really good.

Well it depends, is the coupling about joker and fem!shepard? I ask since I am not a fan but not a hater of the pairing, I am neutral on it.

Well yes, I would agree that the info comes from a translation of the same info as before.

Giant bomb on ME3 gamescom

When comparing the info on this site to the first russian one, after a little help from google translator you see that the info is even in the same order. First that bit about Kelly returning if she's alive. Then they mention Joker and FemShep, in english they describe it as "a case of you have to play it to see it". After that there's info on the mako. The google translate version of the russian site is also a list of things. First Kelly, then Joker and FemShep. They don't know if it's a developed romance or more along of a Samara-deal. Then info on the mako.

Which makes sense, everyone listened to the same Q&A. I know nooothing about this since I wasn't at Gamescom so I have to read up on it like everyone else. Still, keeping all my fingers crossed   =)


@ Sorrel   Yay for mention of next chapter   =)    looking forward to it. Like the idea of a calender. Sounds like fun.

I must say I don't want a kind of Samara or Kelly romance with Joker - I hope it will be a full romance - it is frustrating to see that a character has feelings for you and you cannot proceed with the romance. But I hope Bioware sees that both the Samara and Kelly "romances" led to unhappy fans and will avoid it.

Legionthegeth, serious bro, no need to get all snarky.
My chapter is long by my standards! Typically my chapters are 2,000 - 3,000 words. I find that's usually enough to express what's going on and add a scene break, which is where I typically split the chapter off. (I find it also helps in expressing passage of time.) I read books and other fics too -- I know they can be long. But by my standards for my own work this is pretty huge! So, like... Here have something I drew a while ago that's my avatar on most things:

Ohh, I sincerely hope bioware doesn't give us another Kelly/Samara. Kelly is so vague it's frustrating. You have no idea what they did during "dinner" and after the SM, there's nothing to indicate that she does anything more than give you a sexy dance... and dry cuddle.

Samara is... well, goodness... obviously, she'll have a lot to think about (she hasn't had feelings for another in centuries), so I can understand Bioware saving her romance for the third game.

But Joker? No, Bioware. We've had two games to build the relationship; we've been patient. So pleez oh pl0x, don't "tease" us with a vague romance with him in the final game of the saga. Imho, you should go all-or-none with him (err, most preferably "all"). It would just be cruel, otherwise.

Honestly, if I had an MShep, I'd have him romance Samara, or even Tali. But as a woman I see Tali as a surrogate sister, and Samara as a mother figure to my FemShep; that's why I haven't done an M!Shep play-through yet. *mutters* Has nothing to do with the voice acting. Nope. */muttering* But I'll get around to it. My hard-ass Earthborn soldier will cry like a puppy when Samara turns him down. And in my opinion, Tali's and MShep's romance is similar to FemShep's and Garrus's. Something just fits with that pairing.

You know what other pairing makes perfect sense? Joker and Shepard.

I'm talking to you, BioWare. You know the reasons. You made them. You put the ideas in our heads. Now, please do your devoted fangirls and fanboys a favor and give us the cure for this Joker/Shepard virus. I believe the antidote file is between: "Fairy Godmother" and "Let's give the fans what they want because we love them".
