@ Nam - We definitely need Joker t-shirts! I'd love to proudly support other characters, too. While I love Tali and Garrus, they seem to get all the merch. Lol.

Yeah, now that I think about it, I wasn't crazy over many of the character lithos. Tali's was nice, but the Legion and Thane ones were meh.

I'll have to be watching dA then, I neglect my dA too much. XD I still haven't figured out how to post my Shoker fic on there!

Yeah, Miri's was nice. Kind of sad I missed Tali's and Miri's, actually. Oh well, I'm not paying $300 + for them on ebay.

I'm a fan of both versions. In fact, I pre-ordered the X-Box version of the collectors edition, first.

As to your question, err... well, I would say that ME1 on the computer is better in terms of graphics (essentially, they're the same game).
As for ME2, I haven't seen much of a difference between the two. The PC version has slightly better textures than X-box, but that's about it. The only difference that's more obvious than the rest is during the SM when you watch that colonist/Kelly melt. She actually begins turning into black goo instead of just getting a bunch of black veins. That's really the only obvious difference I could find between the two platforms.
Though I will admit I like the control scheme on the X-Box version just a little bit better.

Anyway, it's just my opinion, no need to go spreading it around (I know how touchy console wars are on BSN).

@N7 Vey: I appreciate you coming back and explaining yourself (and being open-minded). If Joker and Femshep were to have relations, the worst that could most likely happen is Joker would be sore. Somebody made the point on an earlier page of this thread that Femshep would neeed to use the same amount of force to break Joker's... err... "manhood" to break his bones. So yeah, we believe that Femshep could most definitely be gentle.

I tend to only do romances for additional dialogue. If Joker gets romanced up it'll be nice to learn more about him... Though it's continually depressing 90% of character dialogue hides behind romances.

There really isn't enough character depth in Mass Effect overall, i think Bioware are flunking hard on that lately.. Would be nice to learn more about Joker anyway.. If nothing else, it'd be nice to hear Seth Green talk more.

I agree on this. 
When I played the game (as F!Shepard) I only felt somewhat connected to the character I was romancing and had a very hard time connecting other NPC's, especially with the females!

Atleast we get to see some sides of Joker without gender restrictions (so far) :3

Anyway, there’s my wall-of-text backstory. Tried to keep it as short as I could, but what can I say, I like writing and RP elements!

This may be a double necro but it looked like fun. I play on the Xbox so I don't have any awesome screenshots to show (also my potential Joker-mancer hasn't even spoken to Nihlus in the Comm room yet so I wouldnt have many screenshots anyway).

MacKenzie Shepard: Adept/Earthborn/War Hero and Paragon (mostly - she accepts that Renegade actions are occasionally necessary, Bring Down the Sky being a good example).
She has long blonde hair (it's in the topknot-type bun) and brown eyes, and a slight tan.

Running with gangs was more for survival than for enjoyment, which is why she enlisted as soon as she possibly could. The Alliance got her out of a life she really didn't want, so she's very dedicated to the Alliance, which is why she tried so hard to save Elysium. She doesn't really do relationships because she doesn't have time, and she doesn't date crew both because she values the rules and because it just seems like a bad idea. So she's left a pile of one-night-stands and flings in her wake. She's anti-politician (Udina and the Council) but not anti-alien. The way she sees it is that most humans sort of suck, so it stands to reason that most aliens sort of suck, but humans don't universally suck so neither do most aliens. Joker cracked her up at first, and she sees how humor is just a way for him to keep people at arm's length, so she sort of forces him to be her friend by coming up to the bridge to annoy him/talk to him in ME1. Then in ME2 when he shows up to drive her around the galaxy she's just so relieved to see someone she can trust. And they become bffs, and it sort of dawns on her that she's developing feelings for him. (fingers crossed at any rate).

It's just general decency to read the OP before making and argument, though, isn't it?  It would save a lot of time and temper if people started to do that...   It is nice when people stick around to explain themselves though - refreshing

Some people just don't get that their favourite character is not loved by everyone. 
Say, for example, Tali. 
Personally, I would never romance her, because I see her as more of a friend - that doesn't mean that I go round to the Tali forums and complain that she shouldn't be romanced. 
I understand that she has a fanbase that like her, and wanted her as an LI - the fact that she became an LI didn't change how I played the game or would have if she wasn't. 
I respect that some people want to romance her, but will never go for it myself. 
Is it so difficult to understand that?

EDIT: I kind of realised that it sounds like I'm lashing out at N7 Vey, there, but I really never intended that.

I voiced my opinion, and it seems like theres more trolls targetting me now than there are the Joker romance.  If people have corrected my actions once, there is no need to repeat that.

- Be careful how you phrase things. Simple "Joker's with EDI" or "Shepard will break Joker" seems like trolling. We don't want arguments spanning our beloved thread - we want happy fluffy bunnies. If you are concerened about Joker's health, or the jealosy of a computer, write it out appropriately and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

I apologized for my poor choice of words.  I didn't know what OI was, and I thought Vrolik's Syndrome was a fictional disease, solely in ME.  I now know otherwise, and will think twice before posting about a real disease that effects the lives of others.

- No insults. Insulting people is an immature and petty way of getting your "point" across. We'are all adults here, let's act like it.

This is starting to turn intro a flame war, lets avoid that.  There will always be opposing sides, and because I oppose this romance does not mean I need to be reminded countlessly about OI and the choice of romance.

- Bone up your knowledge of Vrolik Syndrome. Know that people with OI lead normal lives, and our discussions about Joker will get get on swimmingly.

As I said earlier, I thought Vrolik's Syndrome was a fictional disease and I was expected to locate it in the ME codex.

I always imagined Joker would be shy in a romantic relationship, or at least shy in the build up to one. With Shepard i imagine it would be less shy to begin with and more utter disbelief. What do you guys imagine Joker would feel if Shep started making his/her feelings known?

Ok I admit romancing your younger brother would be awkward. It's part of the reason I won't romance Tali. She's too much like a little sister. 

However, friends are usually the best people to romance. You already have things in common (because you're friends), you already have some idea of what the other person's likes/dislikes are (because you're friends), you've probably seen the other person at their best/worst.

Just my opinion.

I imagine Joker isn't very good with feelings, not being a people person and all. So I think that if Shep started putting the moves on him he'd have a minor freak out internally. Somewhere between utter confusion and "OMG what do I do?"

I agree - I think joker has secret feelings for femshep (with 2 saved for Joker ) and if she expressed an interest he would be like 'Is this for real?'

Why does it have to be so far away - as much as I am looking forward to other games (esp skyrim) nothing is getting me as excited as ME3

Seriously, hate threads for romances with any/every character come up all the time and get shut down in a heartbeat, why should negativity about the idea be here, too?

I guess I just get tired of it. This is my one little place on the Internet where I can kind of indulge in that and it seems like every time I come back to the thread there's somebody wanking on about how Joker's 'Just a Friend U Guise' or 'Lulz U Brek Him Boans' and it's just tiring.

I know    =)    hubby is really excited for Skyrim. There are fun things to do out there but nothing has me as happy as the prospect of playing ME3. Hmmm.... but I kind of like to wait for it a little bit. After this there will be no new game with my FemShep and I will miss her a ton when all of this is over.
