I can live with not being Joker's love *sniff* (though my Shep's been saving himself for Joker), but I really hope that the suggestion that Joker might have a romance with someone else are wrong that that it's EDI. That would make him seem so pathetic. If Joker is to have a romance with someone, have it a real person aboard the ship. I thought about Chakwas as a possibility (mostly because I find her the second most appealing NPC for romance, after Joker), since they both stay on the ship all the time and his condition probably means they have plenty of opportunity to get to know one another. But she seems too old for him, though I guess it would be kind of refreshing and radical to have a younger man/older woman dynamic. But who else? Kelli?

Anyway, I don't know who Joker would romance on the ship...my Skylar would go cry in the loft for a few days and smash some Reapers up to let her frustration out. I think, though, eventually she'd resign and want him to be happy. But 'tis not something I want to think about! *Buries head in sand*

Not EDI, but that's my opinion.
I just think it's wrong that people say "Dude, he can't have sex with you, besides he already got EDI!"
It's just makes me think "Oh, what, just because he got a sickness doesn't mean he gets to be paired up with another human being? Dude, come on... People who can't have sex can still fall in love with people! Doesn't mean they have to resort to having a relationship with an AI and a USB-fleshlight...

Erm, don't hurt me, but I think Joker/Chakwas would be kind of cute. I mean, she pretty much states he helps to keep her going since he'll always have Vrolik's, therefore she'll always have a friend and a place on the Normandy.

BUT ONLY IF Shepard doesn't romance him! ONLY IF! Joker/Femshep is and will always be my first choice!

As for EDI, there are only so many variants of "no" I can use. My personal favorite is the Sten version.

And Gabby, I think she's already taken (even though she might not realize it yet).

I personally don't care for Chakwas/ Joker. I always got motherly vibes from Chakwas about him.

They have to be a little careful about it though so it doesn't become to much. No-one likes to be compared to another person in a relationship (especially ex:es imo). 
He can maybe bring it up 1-2 times before I'll start going nuts and start comparing him to other possible LI's (if possible in-game)~

Lemme rephrase: I think Joker/Chakwas would be kind of cute, but I don't see it actually happening. In my humble opinion, there can be only one woman for Joker and it's not a talking blue HUD... or the Normandy.

Also, I'm going to need brain bleach for that USB-fleshlight comment *shuts eyes, sticks tongue out and shakes head vigorously, screaming*

Well, I think it started out as a discussion on the ME2 thread debating who brought scale itch onto the Normandy. We decided Kelly was the most likely suspect, and I think we also talked about red sand addictions...then it ended up as "hey, you know who would make red sand brownies and distribute them to everyone? Kelly." And it went on, it was pretty funny. The ME version of magic brownies. Lol.

At any rate, I think Joker would have to eat WAY too many red sand brownies to even think about romancing EDI, amirite?

The thought of sad Joker makes me sad. He's meant for smiling only! Only a smile should be on his face! If he does puppy eyes like Fenris, oh my God, I'll loose to the Reapers SO HARD.

He might be a depressed drunk. Joker's usually all snarky and happy, but alcohol has this lovely tendency to drop barriers for us. When he's tipsy, he's fun. When he's drunk, he's in a corner being all depressed and you just want to go over and hug him. Normally, I'm very quiet and fairly shy. If/When I drink, I get hyper and I go around kissing all the cute guys - or I want to, but someone always ends up holding me back from making a fool of myself. Alcohol is not my friend by any means. <_<

I actually agree  Joker/chakwas would be cute but only if femshep/Joker isnt happening (ie i dont mind him and Dr on my garrus//kaidan/tali/mm etc playthroughs) But still femshep +Joker has to happen imo

I don't disagree about the motherly vibe, but sometimes that exists in real relationships, too.  As far as the doctor/patient thing...well, I don't think it's as ethically problematic as romancing officers under your direct command.

Well yes, Joker refers to EDI a little too often as mom for me to take it as anything romantic. Hmm... just started a new FemShep so I'll just write them down this time. As good a talker as Joker is he would be able to be a bit more suave than that if he was indeed interested in EDI in any way, shape or form. I will cry if there is no Joker for my FemShep but I'll fling myself of a cliff if there is Joker/EDI *shudders* Or scream from the rooftops.
