The problem is, when she imports the savegame from ME1 to ME2 it won't show any face codes. This is only if you rebuild your Shepard directly in ME2.
Ohh yeah, that's right... I forgot about that. So freakin' lame... and you know what else is annoying? You find a code to a face you really like, but want to use through ME1. So, what do I do? I sit through the 10-minute opening for ME2 (seriously, Bioware, you're awesome, but was that really necessary? What was ever wrong with an "enter your personal ID" screen when you start a new career?), I enter the code, and physically write down the number of times I slide on each individual slider, and I import all of this over to ME1. Yeah, I'm determined to have my Shepard! Lol!

wow thank you for liking her!! She is my little sweet heart. Was about
to post a new pic of her but managed to rein myself in, lol. It took me
days to get her the way I wanted to... I have seen the intro a few.... times now. It stops being quite as impressive sometime by nr 6
It will probably be the same thing trying to get her look ok again when
importing her into ME2. It has always been something when I bring them
over.
You did a very good job on her! Very much so. I would like to see more screenies!

Yeah, that's always been my problem with making my own Shepard. I'm such a perfectionist that I can't go through an entire game with the slightest thing off about my Shep's face (this happens more with males than it does with females). I create my Shepard, I'm somewhat satisfied by his appearance, I start the game, and then I see the side of his face and how he looks when talking to somebody...

Rinse and repeat for about 6-7 times. Then I end up just throwing the character out anyway and modifying one I find on masseffect2faces.com. I sincerely wish that Bioware could've made the turning of Shep's head on the character creation screen 360 degrees.
Both of the faces on the femsheps I've played through ME1-ME2 aren't mine, I took them both from me2faces (which were freely given and I take no credit for creating them, so I'm not a thief! Lol!). The only thing that didn't transfer on my Earthborn Paragade femshep was the scar that I added in ME1 (wishing Bioware wouldn't have removed the facial scars). My main colonist maleshep was from the celebrity lookalike contest from pre-historical ME1 times back when people uploaded slidebar numbers. He's apparently supposed to look like Harrison Ford (though he looks absolutely nothing like him, but makes a fantastic looking custom Shepard). The only thing I can take any credit for is customizing the eyes, removing the facial hair (and I think changing the eyebrows).

Edit: I made the experience that sometimes my FemShep that I really liked in ME1 looked strange in ME2 after the import, so maybe SilentK will rebuild her Shep in ME2 - the sliders in ME1 are a little different then the settings in ME2 but the main things like form of nose, mouth, eyebrows, eye and headform should be easy to recognize in ME2.
Yup, that's the story with the maleshep (not my main) I romanced Liara with. I used someone else's shep as a base and made several modifications to numerous areas of the face. Started the game, when I got to the well-lit Citadel mission, I realized his eyebrows were WAY too bushy and were the wrong color (brown and my Shepard's hair is black). Also, his eyes were too far up near his brow. At that point, I just said "screw it, I'll fix him in ME2" and played through with him. Did the same thing to his ME2 version, made the necessary adjustments, started him and halfway through the game, I noticed that his eyes were incredibly squinty (moreso than in ME1, so I KNEW it had to have been a transfer issue)! It looks terrible, especially when being compared to the more hi-res characters like Miranda and Jacob (the eyes were squintier than Jacob's and yes that is possible). At that point, I sighed and shook my weary head, vowing to repair him in ME3 (where I'm sure I'll find even more things wrong with him. Lol).
Crud, I am WAAAY off-topic, aren't I? Back to reasons why Joker should be an LI...
