Concerning Miranda, I think I'd actually like her more if they put a decent outfit on her. As it is, she could just have *fanservice* tattooed on her butt boobs forehead in glow-in-the-dark ink, and it wouldn't be any more conspicuous. I usually dislike the Alpha female type who feels that she has something to prove, but I probably would have an easier time taking her seriously.

I'm going to be all silly and say "boobbutt instead of d*ckbutt". Not sure if everybody gets the meme I'm refering to :3

Anyway, just realized I don't have my scanner here *crai*
won't be able to scan my silly comic until saturday :c

Edit: Oh, noticed that this is a new page. Here's some old shoker art by me:

I think they decided to give Jack some hair, pulled into a ponytail. She keeps the part with the tattoos shaved, if I understand correctly. The devs thought she'd look more mature, and they wanted her to grow up a little bit after being on Shepard's team...so I guess it makes sense from that standpoint.

Question: do any of you guys think that Joker will ever shave his beard? Like...ever?

I don't mind Jack's shaved head: it bring out the rest of her face, which is gorgeous. That being said, it doesn't mean she'll look bad with hair.

Maybe on a dare?

Or if he ever got drunk (cf. Chakwas after the brandy sidequest), and someone decided to prank him.

It seems to be a fad here where I live (imo). People shave the side of their heads and keep the hair at the top of their head at longer/short but still longer than the shaved parts. I think that could work well with Jack as long as you can see her tatoo.

Myes, like if he got drunk and passed out and someone decides it would be fun to shave him while he's out.

:o If BioWare gets rid of Joker's beard I will be most upset! His beard is awesome. Chuck Norris yearns for Joker's beard! *shakes fist*

The only way I can see Joker losing his beard is what the above posters have said: everyone is drunk, and they shave it when Joker's out. And MAYBE he'll shave it on his wedding day...but my Shep would be against it.

And speaking of batarians, I FINALLY played Bringing Down the Sky. O. M. G. This DLC was awesome...considering I had my Colonist/Ruthless Shepard. >:D She has a major grudge against the batarians, and when she first sees them her lip just curls and she snarls: "Batarians."  Fit perfectly. I however hit the wrong trigger and Balak was sent off to the Alliance. <_< Oh well. He might come in handly later. I'll file that under "Mara's moments of clarification". She did pass anger management, after all. ...Kinda.:?

@PhantomGinger Ooh! That brings up a good topic ghat me and my friend were talking about. Should Shepard marry his/her LI at the end of ME3? I'm personally not too keen on the idea, but if it's optional, then I can deal with it. My friend personally thinks that it would ruin the game. Opinions?!

Marriage? Hmm...well, I wouldn't be opposed to an option I suppose. I'm a hopeless romantic, I would like for my Shep and her LI to be bound together in whatever way is socially acceptable for the species, or tolerated for the person. It'll probably depend on the LI or Shepard on what they want. I can't imagine Garrus going all out since turians are private people; or even Joker for that matter - though he'd want the day to be special because he just seems like such a sweetheart. Zaeed...lol...if he is an LI, I'll be pleasantly surprised - but marriage for him? There would be no ceremony, just a giant explosion in the background before hoisting Shepard on his shoulder and carrying her like a sack of grenades to his place in the middle of no where for a nice, long retirement.

I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of marriage, so long as it isn't extravagant - THAT would ruin the game. Though it would be funny to see Shepard in a dress/tux. But the presence of choice is always nice - whether for extravagance, minimalism, private, or none at all - I'm for it. :)

On the Joker beard thing, no. Joker must never shave it off, ever =D
aand I do kinda like the marriage thing but not at the same time, so undecided.

Probably, from what Ashley says in ME1 it seems like religion is considered somewhat unusual. And gay marriage is banned mostly due to religious views... imo

Eh...I don't really consider marriage and/or children to be necessary to validate a relationship, so I'm not holding out for a marriage at the end of ME3. If there's an option for people who want it, that's cool, but if there isn't, that's cool too. Besides, BW epilogues are notoriously vague on that topic, so I don't think they're suddenly gonna pull out a huge wedding ceremony.

Although I do think that Joker would be more of the marrying kind than, say, Garrus. Or Zaeed Posted Image

Also, I don't know what kind of protocol would apply to any of the interspecies couples. Asari bonding with other races is common, but what would a wedding between a human and a turian look like? Or between a human and a quarian?

I'm all for optional weddings in ME3. It's something I would totally want to do with Ashley Williams; sort of a military wedding (arch of sabers, Shepard in dress blues, Ashley in a wedding dress, etc). However, Ashley/Kaidan are really the only LIs I can see Maleshep/Femshep marrying. Maybe Jacob & Kelly and big freaking maybe to Miranda (in all honesty, she doesn't seem like the marrying type). My feelings are inconclusive when it comes to interspecies... given such diverse cultural differences between the two races, is marriage even relevant? Do Asari even get married? And turians... well, hmm... Tali, yeah maybe. *strokes non-existent beard* I dunno, whatever I imagine comes out so strange...

As for Joker's beard, I think he would look alright both ways. It would be weird seeing him without it, though.

My friend always calls Miranda 'Michel Jackson'. He says whenever she whispered in Shepard's ear he'd keep imagining the 'he-he' thing MJ always did. I think he's overreacting, but whatever. :P

Who thinks Jack needs a new hairstyle in ME3? I know someone who thinks she does (apparently he's not into girls with shaved heads), but I can't picture her with any of the other hairstyles. I love Jack, though. She's awesome, and sometimes reminds me of myself. ^_^

That is funny because my friend does the same since he first saw Miranda. I must say she looks stunning in the trailer and Yvonne Strahovsky who was the model for her is very beautiful - but in the game Miranda just looks a little strange. But my main problem is her Cerberus loyality and I don't buy why she left Cerberus at the end of ME2 (at least if you destroy the base - no idea what happens with her if you keep the base).

You know for Jack I recently started my first man shep - I have around 10 femsheps but I just wanted to give it a try and I find Jack fascinating. She would look better with more hair but she has a beautiful face, so even without hair I think she is beautiful and I think this hairstyle fits her. A member in this forum has an avatar with a Jack picture and where Jack has only in the middle of her head longer hair like a short ponytail with the sides still shaved. That looks great.

But back to Joker:

Marriage: my Shep with Joker or Kaidan surely but some kind of marriage with Garrus I could see too. With Thane not, because he was married before and I don't know if he would like to marry again (I hope he don't die in ME3 this would be very sad, I don't want anyone of my team to die but I suppose this is only wishful thinking). But they don't have to show the actual marriage - everyone has its own idea how it should look like so I would just like to have the option to talk with the LIs about this and so every gamer can decide if he wants to marry the LI or not.

Beard: I love Jokers beard and it is hard to imagine him without it. But I think he has a nice face and would look good even without beard. I think he would shave it if necessary, maybe if an alliance protocol would demand it but he would be unhappy about it. He said in ME1 that he spent around 7 weeks for his beard.

Sitcom/cartoons: I think he prefers cartoons and comedy shows

@Namira: I love your shirts ;) Bioware should totally include them in the store - you should send it to Casey and David

Thanks everyone for the great pictures and welcome to everyone new in this thread ;)

I dont think Joker would ever shave the beard but he he would still llok good if he did :-)

My femsheps for Kaidan, Joker and garrus would love to get married. My Tali shep is just happy to be with her and my M/M shep will be exstatic with just finding a good man! My shep thats with Liara is actually getting a bit creeped out by her so I dont know where that femshep is going yet but we will see :-)

INORITE :o

I imagine religion would be a little unusual to those who are spacefaring. To those humans who are groundside, maybe not so much? Maybe in that universe think it's unusual for people who spend time on stations surrounded by science and space to believe in a higher power. Also it's so far into the future, and science is making a big push, it's almost a religion in the game. But Turians believe in spirits, Krogans have their gods, and Asari have their goddess - so...I'm not sure. Maybe it's just the humans who have that: "hurr you believe in something" outlook there. Just could be due to Ashley's profession she gets those comments, who knows. Most of my Shepards believe in a higher power, the other few are just: "i dunnooooo..." about it.

With so many races living together, I wonder what would be considered a "wedding". No doubt the concept was introduced to the alien society when humans settled in.

Alien: What?
Human: Yeah, we exchange vows of promise, give rings and kiss.
Alien: In front of people?
Human: Yeah.
Alien: And this can take months of planning?
Human: Sometimes years.
Alien: For one day of standing in front of people you don't know, in hot clothes that will never be worn again, makie promises you may not be able to keep, and then you won't have a minute with your mate for the rest of the day, and for the next few months (maybe rest of your life) because of this ritual? Then you sign a contract, live together and if you seperate thousands of credits are spent to void the contract so you can go your seperate ways as if nothing ever happened?
Human: ...That's pretty much it.
Alien: All that for one day to say "I am going to shag this person for the rest of my life"?
Human: ...Uh-huh.
Alien: Hm.
*silence*
Alien: ...Was there cake in there somewhere, I don't remember.
Human: The cake feels like a lie, now.

I'd imagine marriage would be pretty odd to them. Waste of money, and a huge invasion of privacy. I'm actually very curious now as to what courting and "marriage" would be like in alien society. Asari seem to bond with their partner for life. There isn't much romance for Krogan becuase of the genophage - they're just breeding like rabbits without the result of little bunnies hopping around. Hanar share their "soul name". Turians...what the hell do Turians do? We know almost nothing about them!

As for a marriage with Joker: something aboard the Normandy, or on a random beach somewhere. It would have to be kept secret, and reserved only for close friends and family. Quick ceremony, nice dinner with everyone (real meat), then they fly off and do the nasty in their quarters.

Oh...so just because he has Vrolik's he can't love or have a real relationship? Real close minded. And one of our members on here has a husband with Vrolik's. Just thought you should know...

It's her I'm worried about finding this. Sorrel, too. I'm the nice one.
