I managed to save everyone on my first playthrough, no cheats. I did everyone's loyalty missions, and I was a busybody and talked to everyone, so I got all the upgrades I needed, and a bunch I didn't. Lol. My roommate said they were important, so that helped, too. I had to pick either Jack or Miranda, though, because I played ME2 cold turkey for my first PT. I didn't trust Miranda much anyway, so I didn't have her do anything important on the Suicide Mission. I just picked people that made sense to put in the positions, and it all worked out fine. I later did some research to see what combinations work and which don't, so I've never lost anyone.

According to Seth Green's twitter, he is. There's also pictures of him and Tricia Helfer recording lines. Sites like Legendary and imdb are notorious for having incomplete/wrong information, and jump to conclusions on things.

Same thing happened with PC Gamer when they misinterpereted Casey Hudson saying that none of the new characters would be LIs with "there will be no new LIs in ME3." I love how the internet is a wealth of information, both right and wrong. XD

Ah yes the movie - I have dissmissed that claim! seriously though - I am avoiding info and not going to watch it, IMHO there has never been a good computergame to movie adaptation!! But really who else could be Joker other that Seth Green?!?!?!

IMO, Seth is too small to play Joker in the movie, but I'm sure they'll get someone of the same build that has a similar voice. Casting people in Hollywood generally do really well, it's the directors and screenwriters you have to worry about. Case in point: New Star Trek movie, dead-on with the casting, horrible plot and story. (Speaking as someone who was a Trekkie in-utero...mom raised me on the stuff even while she was pregnant. Don't shoot me if you actually liked it, just saying...Romulan ships should NEVER look like the Narada.../rant. XD) My only worry with a Mass Effect movie is turning a 30+ hour game into a 2 hour movie...could get really hairy.

Aha! Lol, when Demonique posted the link I was freakin' out: "BUT IT SOUNDS JUST LIKE SETH GREEN HNNNGGGG STOP LYING." But it's the movie we're talking about. This youtube video sums up my feelings on the ME movie without me having to rant. XD It'll be weird to see another guy playing Joker though...another reason why I'll see the movie in the dollar theatre. <_< *sigh*

But I think they said the movie was focusing on the first game...

far I have Kaidan loyal, 2 Joker loyal, Garrus loyal, Tali loyal, m/m,
and Thane loyal - will be interesting to see how kaidan reacts - may

I know my room mate thinks I've lost it. I've made profiles for each of my Shepards - basic info, appearance, personality etc. so I can keep track better.

I'd like to hope Joker will be in it. I mean, where you see Shepard, Joker's there too right (granted on the Normandy but you get my point.)? I could be wrong; I don't know much about the movie, honestly. I was too busy doing the ME trivia during Comic-Con to really pay attention to the other panels.

No wait, the trivia competitions were during Gamescom. Damnit, got my cons mixed up.

I had no idea they were coming out with a movie at all. I don't know how much I will like it though. If they actually put all/some of the characters other then Shep in the movie...well it just won't be the same. I have gotten used to those voices. Hearing a different voice for the character would be so strange to me.

I'm with Victia on this. If the movie is going to be about the games, I do NOT want to see it! Do not! I'm already sick to death of hearing the "Uhhnng, Drew Karpyshyn made Udina the 'canon' (seriously, this word being used on BSN brings out my inner Inigo Montoya. People use that word on here all the time, I don't think it means what they think it means) Councilor for humanity in Retribution, so that means Anderson is invalid!" argument! GAAAH! What makes Mass Effect such a great saga is the scope of choices you are given and those choices mold the setting of the game (it still has a cemented plot, but you determine what happens all around it). A movie is going to taint this aspect because people are going to jump out of the woodwork saying: "Ohhh, the movie said it, that makes it canon! Shepard is a man, his first name is John, he was an Earthborn Sole Survivor, Udina became the Councilor at the end, Shepard was a Paragon, he saved the Council, he killed the Rachni Queen, blah, blah, BLAH, BLAH!" *brushy brushy brushy brushy*

The games are like interactive movies, themselves. They don't need an ACTUAL movie. However, I heard on the grapevine that the movie was actually going to be about the First Contact War. If that's the case, I fully support it. Just stay away from the video game saga... please.

Oh, and Joker is awesome.

Edit: *sigh* I'll probably end up watching it anyway because I'm a Mass Effect fanboy, but that will be the only reason! ...Ohh, come to think of it, I might be getting my N7 cap tomorrow!

Ugh why is the movie about Shepard? Why cant it be a totally different story in the ME universe? They'll never portray our fave characters how we think of them, its a risky game they're playing!

If they made a movie of Revelation I'd be all for it. Or anything Pre/nothing-to-do-with Shepard. I don't see how they could make a movie based on the game without some fans going ballistic. If I had a choice, I wouldn't want Hollywood to get anywhere near my favorite franchises. They already jacked up a few.

I'd actually be looking forward to the movie if it was based on the First Contact War or something unrelated to Shepard. Dreading it too but mostly excited and pouncing on any titbit of news.

There's no way to avoid a movie about Shepard making one version canon. Even if the origin and backstory were left ambiguous gender wouldn't be. Hollywood wouldn't be able to resist casting a kickass marine to promote the hell out of.

And as turns out neither can I, while typing this I'm also mentally casting my Shepards.

@DeadlyHaven - Oooh, I thought that too! I'm gonna have to lock Joker in a room away from everyone else, like far away from Miranda, that's for sure! Unless it's just me being like a control freak and thinking he likes the whole crew O_O
