Moving on, *reads the comic; gasps* Shepard... in irons... on HIS/HER OWN SHIP!?!? And Anderson is the Commanding Officer!? Anderson... b-but how could you? HOW COULD YOU!?!?!?!?

IKR? When I first heard about it, some reason I got Anderson confused with Udina (that happens a lot, actually), but when I read the comic (which I had a surprisingly hard time reading, because I kept trying to read it from right to left, like manga) and I saw Anderson, I was like "WHAAAAAAAAAAA???????? ANDERSON WTH???? WHY?????????? *starts screaming profanities*"

Edit: Top again? Cool!

Hmmm... regarding the new Vega-comic. In the next to last pic you see Shepard sitting in chains in the Normandy. Is it still Joker who's flying the Normandy and how does he feel about Shepard sitting in the brig in chains. Great to get a little bit on Vega... but now I just want to know more.

I am going to defend Anderson here, I think maybe the council/alliance wanted shep brought in and Anderson volunteered to do it as he knows shep and thought someone else wouldnt be as inderstamding/ nice - while he would still have to follow procedures (hence the irons) he can also provide shep some level of protection from verbal or even physical abuse. Just my thoughts though.

Jupp... it's probably something like that =) I just want to know more. Hope they will let the old crew stay on the Normandy. Was just so surprised when I saw the handcuffs, didn't really think about that part until now. Hmm... I very much look forward to the beginning of the next game. And how the crew reacts to Shepard being detained. And do we still have our pilot?

I thought I saw the normandys wings folded in like in was in the hanger/cargo bar of a larger ship, kinda like it had been locked down and impounded by the alliance

Yeah...I don't think Shepard would be locked outside the ship...

We know that they will fix things on the Normandy, and that the ship comes swooping in to save Shepard when the trial goes awry. Hmmm.... I just really want to know if it's Joker who flies the ship or if the Alliance has issued their own pilot. He was grounded for some reason, I would really like to know what. Well, after it's apparent that Shepard was right I guess that the old reason for Joker being grounded a moot point. He's flying the Normandy as soon as my Shepard has anything to say about it.

But I hope that we will get something about the crewmembers reactions to the trial. I'm really curious about that. It might be brushed over simply to get the story started, and I wouldn't be too sad about it. But curious.. yes I am that.

We may get to talk to them about the trial after we are on the Normandy but I can't see any of them playing a part in the trial itself which is a shame, after all joker, chakwas, even garrus and tali will all be seen as cerberus and untrustworthy - well untill the reapers start smashing everything :-)

Yes, yes! This has to be the reason! I know Anderson; he has a plan! Escorting Shepard, recruiting Vega, the VS, etc all have to lead up to something! Why. March. No. Get. Here. Faster!?!?

I'm really wanting Shepard's trial to be like Tali's if you rally the crowd.

Joker: Shepard's done more for the Alliance, our colonies, and this entire galaxy than you a**holes ever have! If you're going to throw him/her in jail, you might as well do the same to me!
Chakwas: And me!
VS: Me, too!
(the aforementioned stand in addition to the entire Normandy crew and several other people)

*waits impatiently for March*

Aw who could ever blame Anderson, hes too awesome.

Why is March sooooo far away? They should be banned from confirming games til much closer the time. I dont care if it doesnt make sense, its less angst for us!

Guys, it's only 7 months. We can be strong.
But if Bioware decides not to have a Joker romance and make us wait this long for news about Joker, I'm going to flip.

Quick question:
Anyone know any thing that teaches people how to draw Quarians?

I can see it now: The Future

Grandchild: Grandpa, tell me about 2011.
Me: Why do you want to know about 2011?
Grandchild: I dunno.
Me: Well, in all honesty, not a lot happened. Other than finally tracking down bin Laden and a royal wedding in the UK, the first half was pretty much a disappointing repeat of 2010.
Grandchild: And what about the second half?
Me: I can't really tell you.
Grandchild: Why not?
Me: Well, in all honesty, I tuned myself out for most of it. I was basically working and going about my daily routine. It helped me to deal with waiting for something.
Grandchild: What were you waiting for?
Me: Well... Mass Effect 3.
Grandchild: What's Mass Effect 3?
Me: Posted Image How are you my grandchild!? *lifts sleeve* Didn't your Mom/Dad ever explain to you why I got this N7 tattoo?
Grandchild: They just said you were a huge nerd before you met grandma.
Me:  *points towards shelf* See that? It's an antique gaming console called an X-Box 360. It was made back when you used your hands to play videogames! Yeah, it may seem like a baby's toy now, but Mass Effect was one of the greatest video games ever made! *throws controller towards grandchild* And you are going to play it!
Grandchild: But I don't know how to work this old thing!
Me: *takes back controller* Watch and learn! *turns on ME1*

Dang, I never considered that, but now that I think about it, Anderson pulling all of this together really makes sense... How many more days until March 6th?

But yeah... any excuse to have a mission revolve around Joker is good

Aww.. i wish he had a lil retrieval quest in ME2 like Chakwas did.. in fact he should have been part of that booze up!

I'd probably shoot the new pilot in a panicked shock.

New Pilot: *swivles around*
Shepard: OH GOD *BANG BANG BANG*
New Pilot: X_x
Anderson: *facepalm*
Joker: *troll face*

My newest Shepard, Harley, would definitely shoot the new pilot in shock. She's jumpy (and thinks she's hilarious). Bel would blink once, and walk away - and mind you, she's the friendly one. Naomi would yank the guy out of the chair and rant and rave about how unqualified he is. Logan would twitch, and walk away without another word. Samantha would do her best to adapt to the situation. Janine...well...

Janine: ...*laughs* Okay. Joke's over. Get out of Joker's seat.
New Pilot: Uh...commander...I am the new pilot.
Janine: ...Okay, the joke's wearing thin.
New Pilot: I'm...not joking, commander.
Janine: *blinks; pulls out gun and aims it between his eyes* Get the **** out of Joker's chair, and off my ship.
New Pilot: B-but...but commander!
Janine: *shoots gun by his head*
New Pilot: D: *jumps out of seat and runs away*

They probably would have someone else pilot the Normandy since Joker is Shepard's friend, and the army may see that as a complication.

@ Omega: I can see this happening with me and my grandkids. They are going to ****ing play Mass Effect. As are my children! They are going to play Mass Effect, and read Harry Potter! *shakes fist*

Ahhhhhhhh! (sorry getting a wee bit over excited)
Love that fanart as well
Athena would most likely have something resembling a heart attack at seeing somebody else in Jokers chair 0_0

I'll probably be exactly like Hammy from Over the Hedge, I'm quite an exciteable person normally but Iwill just go over board in the lead up =P
Something I've always wondered, is where does Joker sleep? like in the crew quarters with everyone else? or one of those pod thingys. I can honestly not remember if this has been discussed before =S
Gahh we really need some Joker news, c'mon Bioware throw us a bone ^_^

I suppose I can elaborate. This would be John's reaction (my main):

(Shepard approaches the bridge; the chair swivels around, revealing Not-Joker).
Not-Joker: Commander?
Shepard: *double-takes* What the hell? Who are you!?
Not-Joker: Err, Flight Lieutenan-
Shepard: Enough! Where is my pilot?
Not-Joker: I am your pilot, sir.
Shepard: No. You're not. Where is Joker?
Not-Joker: Flight Lieutenant Jeff Moreau was relieved of duty when-
(Shepard storms away towards the CIC)
Ashley: Hey, Skipper. I was thinking about maybe starting with Tuchanka. I'm sure Wrex would-
Shepard: Sorry, Ash. The mission is going to have to wait. First things first.
Ashley: ?
Shepard: If I'm walking into this, I need the best of the best. I need a pilot that has flown me through to the ends of the galaxy and back... TWICE! (looks at Ash) We need to get Joker back!
Ashley: But, but what about Earth?
Shepard: (serious expression)
Ashley: Aye-aye, Skipper.

(Later)

Shepard: (entering the Normandy through the airlock with Joker) Good to have you back, Joker. The Normandy hasn't been the same without you.
Joker: How do you figure?
(Shepard points toward Joker's chair, Joker notices someone else in it and scowls; Not-Joker swivels around)
Shepard: Flight Lieutenant Not-Joker, thank you for getting us this far, but your services will no longer be required.
Not-Joker: Commander, you can't do that. Flight Lieutenant Moreau has been discharged. Only an offical Alliance-
(Shepard begins cracking his knuckles)
Shepard: You are in the man's chair...
(Joker nods)
Not-Joker: Where am I supposed to go, Commander?
Shepard: (shrugs) You can fly the Kodiak if you really want to. I don't think we even have a pilot for that one.

On another topic, we know the Alliance will be refurbishing the Normandy... do you think they'll remove Joker's real leather seat!? Cause, y'know, that would be lame for them to do... and if they even think about touching Kasumi's bar, so help me!

Edit: I agree with RhiPanda. We're almost at the 5-month mark and we've still yet to receive any official Joker info that isn't Q&A-related. The James Vega fans just now got a comic, now what about Joker? Honestly, Bioware, throw us a frickin' bone here! Lol

Eyy =) they better not touch the bar. It's still more than 5 months left!! I need that bar, my FemSheps need that bar. Which reminds me.... my latest FemShep has to recruit Kasumi soon =)

lol.... poor little second pilot =) he'll get the shuttle ship all to himself.

Aw poor little non-joker pilot wouldnt stand a chance! The alliance had better not steal jokers leather chair - or we may have to go on a joker loyalty mission to find it again :-)

Pardon me for jumping into the thread amidst a conversation, but I also wanted to voice my support for a Joker romance in ME3. Not sure if I can come up with anything else to add to the support list on the front page. But, hey, every 'vote', or opinion in this case, counts right?
