Hm. I wonder if the story will be pre-game series or post-game series. If it's pre-game we likely wouldn't see Joker at all, so I don't know what's worse: No Joker at all, or someone other than Seth Green portraying Joker. I just hope if he is in the film he isn't pidgeonholed into the comedic relief with dopey comments role, and that the guy cast as him at least looks passable. *Sigh* Legendary better deliver!

As far as a release date, I can't find any general idea on that, but since it's still in the early stages of pre-production I would think with that, filming, and then post-production we're looking at a year and a half to two years.

Do some people not like it because real actors will never look/sound like the in-game characters and they probably wont have the same 'feel' (if you understand me) as the game?

Eiher way, I'm still going to watch it, you never know, it might be amazing Don't start to critisize it just yet people!

Three words: The Last Airbender. That movie was the straw that broke my camel's back when it comes to live-action movies being made from anime, animated shows, or videogames.

However, they said in the panel that it wouldn't involve the main storyline of the videogame saga, so I'm at least fine with that. Also, I don't really care about Seth Green not playing Joker in the movies since I feel very lukewarm about the whole thing, anyway.

When it comes out, I'll most likely see it.

I have learnt not to be disappointed with movies/games/game-movies. I simply lowered my expectations to a disgustingly low level and now everything pleases me Everything except Bethesda RPGs anyway.

Heard a lot of rumours saying the Mass Effect movie will have nowt to do with Shepard, could be bull, but i imagine the smartest thing they could do is take the universe and make an entire new cast/story. Less likely to wee(eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee) in the eyes of the fans that way.

EDI: I analyzed the trace elements in your vomit; it contains a small amount of the Krogan beverage Ryncol.
Shepard: Ryncol? Who's been ****ing with my private reserves!?!?
(Kasumi sits quietly in her room; reclining and doing the finger pyramid of evil contemplation)
(Shepard approaches the bridge; she's shocked to see Joker swivel around without his hat and wearing jeans and a "Blasto" t-shirt)
Shepard: Where's your hat and uniform?
Joker: YOU KNOW DAMN WELL!!!

Okay, okay, I'm done. I don't wanna get banned or poked in the eye by a mod.  I don't wanna get a Bioware siggy in our thread unless it's Casey Hudson basically telling us that he admires us as a fanbase so much that he'll reveal that Joker is definitely an LI in ME3! Cuz, y'know, that would just be awesome!
