And I'm all for feasting days! Bring 'em on!

Of course, I always seem to gain wait around this time of year... I just see it as winter padding! Lol
I'll lose it come summer.
Also, I'm liking this Holiday DLC thing we've got going on! Hmm, I don't know why, but for some reason I see Grunt hotly defending the turkey and refusing to let it become the centerpiece of the Normandy's Thanksgiving meal.
Grunt: So, your people celebrate success by engorging themselves one day out of the year?
Shepard: Pretty much, yeah.
Grunt: And each year, millions of these earth fowls are killed so that you may be gluttons?
Shepard: (rubs the back of his/her neck) Uhh, yeah.
Grunt: Sharp talons, sharp beak, a threatening expression, an intimidating build that makes it look stronger than it really is, and a natural battle cry that dumbfounds its opponets?
*pause*
Grunt: This earth fowl is a born warrior! I will not allow it to suffer this insult!
*Grunt grabs the turkey and runs into the cargo hold*
Shepard: Hey, wait a minute!
Also, one turkey per crewman? Isn't that a little... much? Well, on the bright side, they'll have enough turkey, turkey sandwiches, turkey salad, turkey gravy, turkey hash, Turkey a la King, and gallons of turkey soup to last them through the Reapocalypse! But in all honesty, I think four would be enough!

Hmm, never heard of turkey drummers. I have eaten dinosaur-shaped poultry, but it was chicken dinosaurs. I also wouldn't be surprised if there was an American variant of turkey drummers that are chicken. We Americans and our culinary uses of the chicken... exactly where is the nugget on a chicken?NamiraWilhelm wrote...

For every one you capture another two take its place! What can I say, I have fond memories of KOTOR.
-Thanksgiving is in November isn't it?

Ignoring the messed up timeline I can see something like the above having pride of place in his parents' home.

I dunno Omega, I think Grunt would enjoy hunting the turkey...they can be very difficult to catch!
Grunt: It was a good hunt, Shepard! I took that turkey down though it mocked my strength!
Shepard: I just wish there was more left of it for us to EAT, Grunt...
Haha. There should be some siggys on the OP, Tigus, and if you see one that isn't there ask one of us for a link. I think there are also some in the Snap, Crackle and Pop group.
Edit: Oh, lemme go find my favorite Joker fanart...I know what it is, just not where...

Poor joker would be snapped into small glassy shards by any Fem-shep in the game.
And yea, sorry guys, but I absolutely believe Joker is a commited straight man.
Now.... a full sensory interface with a ship's AI...... The Ultimate Piloting Experience??
Yea, THAT I could see.
Oh! Crap! now I got THAT picture in my head... Man, where is an icepick...

Then I feel guilty and run an extra mile. :\\
I have a feeling Joker would eat just as much - probably scarf all the meat and shove the rest in his pockets for later.
Shep: Joker...is that a turkey leg in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?
Joker: *smirks* What do you think?
Shep: Well...considering there's a growing stain on the front of your pants, I really hope it's the turkey leg.
Joker: Goddamnit! *pulls out turkey leg*
Shep: Thank God.
And yes, Thanksgiving is on November 26th. Americans gorge themselves. It's the ultimate holiday of Gluttony. lol

yeah. kudos for you all, for
defending your favourite future LI. I think it would actually be very
interesting to have Joker as a love interest, and specially for the
female Shepards makes absolute perfect sense , story wise. And I don't
know, but when I see Joker talking, I always feel like there's something
more than just friendship on his feeling towards Shepard. When it's a
female Shepard, it actually looks like he genuinely loves her on
thedialogue of the begining of ME2.

Welcome! Here, have a cookie:

Well...before the Cookie Monster gets it, anyways.

I'm so wearing my Joker hat to the Thanksgiving dinner table, just so I can take a picture and post it here subtitled, "Jokernerd Thanksgiving!"

Go get them in the OP if you want them, which by the way, is great! Not that I wrote it, it was our very own fabulous phantomdragoness who wrote it. I'm more of lazy typewriter coming in after the hard work is done, lol.
This was great, I can really see them eating turkey leftovers for a month or so. Until Gardner finally snaps and throws it all out. Or give the scraps to Grunt.
Ohh... for Joker-pic. Here's something Holiday-related. Couldn't find one with a turkey so you guys will just have to make due with a Christmas pic, lol.

But if you are a troll, or someone who feels too emotionally attached to your operating system don't bother. None of Joker's bones get crushed, and there is no inappropriate contact with an AI, which would make the story extremely boring for you.
I wish I celebrated a holiday somewhere between now and christmas. Oktober/November are just completely tedious.

@Koji - NOES! You can break Joker's bones! He will certainly die if he has sex! He has OSTEOGENESIS IMPERFECTA! Do you even know what does it mean?! He can't live like a normal person! You can't romance him, period!

- If you do not agree with a romance, that's fine. So long as you have a
good reason and are able to discuss it appropriately, we will be glad
to talk with you about it as well.
I do not agree with the romance because I am tired of every character being "fair game" . It's like every thing that has a hole, shepard wants to abuse it.
Let's not forget, Joker is our pilot, our friend, are trusted ally. Some characters need to remain just friends. This isn't the loveboat.
Finally, Joker romance is just as inplausible as Tali romances. Both of these people have weak ass bodies and shouldn't be engaging in sex.
I know I shouldn't reply.. but I couldn't help myself.
You are aware you've just compared an Alien with a completely different biological make up to a human with a condition? Humans with Osteogenisis Imperfecta have been getting married/having kids for a while. In modern times. You could apply your argument to Tali, sure.. but Joker? No. I really don't think you can, and I also think it's rather offensive trying to do so. I mean, you're basically saying that people with a condition cannot and should not engage in any sexual activity for fear of delictate bones, and the hight of irony is you clearly know nothing about this syndrome. It affects the more delicate bones, such as legs/arms. Not the pelvis, which is really quite strong in comparison.
So yeah.. You seem to always be quite negative about everything on these boards. Some things are understandable (the Thane thing, I agree. It added a great point of view to his romance/friendship, the fact that he was dying and there was no cure), others not so much. Joker really is one of the more plausible romances going and that's coming from someone who doesn't actually want to romance him (Sorry guys.. It'll be like banging Chris Griffon >_>). He's loyal, you've died for him and there seems to be huge indicators that there might possibly be chemistry there. If an alien that has skin contact could possibly die became romancable, I really wouldn't be surprised if Joker did (and I hope he does for you guys, I can understand the want. I really can. It's just the whole Family Guy.. it'll be too wrong for me >_>)

Sorry, you started the topic if I recall correctly, so I assumed you're well-informed.75% of Americans don't even know what Europe is, not to mention its location. No offense, of course. But if I would start to count how many times I was asked "What is Poland/European Union/Visegrád Group/Weimar Triangle anyway?" or "So, Europe fought in Second World War too?", I wouldn't end until Xmas.

OMG I refuse to believe 75% of Americans don't know what or where Europe is...though, it wouldn't surprise me. We get little to no education in history past the American Civil War, and an even smaller amount of education in basic geography. *Sigh* That's what you get when you let the government fund EVERYTHING. /rageagainsttheuneducatedrant
I love you, Vicki, I really do, you makes me has lots of laffs...
Anyway, anyone doing anything for Halloween? Dressing up as anything ME/Joker-related? I would be doing my female incarnation of Joker, but my uniform pants aren't going to be ready in time. XD Decided to be Starbuck from BSG instead.

Where are where are you acknowledging my main argument?
Hello. Hello. I know you fans are use to ignoring truth but implausibility is a brain bustingly good argument. Maybe one of you fine young ladies want to debunk it? Less you counciously engage in fictional romances that have no chance on God's beautifully blue Earth of happening.
Point one, Joker romance adds nothing to the already thin main plot. Kaidan and Liara added new layers to Shepards struggle. Joker romance would not only add nothing but detract greatly.
For example, "Isn't that Sheppard, saviour of Humanity, vanquisher of Reapers?"
"Oh yeah but she got screwed by her brittle boned pilot."
"ew"
Also, "indicators of interest"? What is LOOKING at sheppard an indicator of interest? Seriously, I've seen some stretching in my day but this has to be the worst. it's like you're looking for gold on the beach.

Why exactly is it implausable? So far, you've provided no argument except a biological one, which as pointed out by more than just myself, is not an argument at all.
Point is, it does add to Shepards struggle should that player wish to engage in it. Just because you yourself have no interest in the romance does not equal everyone will think the same.
The third bit is just pure offensive-ness, for which you have been reported for. You're acting like people with disorders are less than human and could not hope to achieve a good romance (both in game and real life).
