Hi again. Thank you for the warm welcome NamikaWilhelm, Victia, PhantomDragoness, and everyone else I might have missed. Been reading back a little. Is it really possible to make a distinction on plausible or reasonable, for Joker romance?
Because romance is romance. Doesn't need a time or a day or order or peace to hapend. Humans don't control feelings. Feelings control Humans. So who's to say that ''its a bad time for a new romance because the reapers are invading?'' - Truth be told, usually, in stressful and catastrophic situations, people tend to have their feelings more hightened up and confused, so it is more likely that new feelings towards someone evolves.
And , besides, when you fall in love, you don't do it rationally by your decision. Your heart decides for you and sometimes at the worse moments. So, a new love interest in ME3 is not just plausible, is believable, even with the reaper invasion, as long as we pay heed to common human nature. Actually, people tend to recognize as an epifany, the true feeling they have towards someone they never admited before, when they think they are at the final moments of their life.
As for Joker's condition, no point going back to it. Already to many people stated since the beginning of the tread that his health condition does not stop anyone from having a relation, or sexual relations. Sure, they need to be carefull , and do it gently, but no more than that. And it could actually serve as an educational experience in-game for the youth playing, regarding descrimination.
Anyway, thanks for the cookies. I wish i could have got more of them, but the monster hate most of them

If you think about the circumstances, I can think of a number of reasons why Joker might have suppressed any feelings he had for Shep to this point.  Shep is his commanding officer--that would be a pretty strong disincentive to express any interest in my view.  Secondly, given the nature of Joker's handicap, he might not see himself as having a chance and be guarding his heart against a painful rejection.  When you couple those two things with a personality that's not exactly touchy-feely to start with, I don't have a lot of trouble imagining Joker being powerfully attracted to Shep but unwilling to act on it.  The only tricky part is that something needs to change in their circumstances in ME3 to allow Joker to express his desire.

I voted for Joker, it is certainly the option that makes the most sense, and the one that fans would be the least opposed to I imagine.

@Tigus I agree, I still dont see a difference between romance in me3 and 1&2, if you use the argument that its not the right time for love then that hold up to the events in ME1/2 as well imo!

edit: I did not mean that to be as creepy as it sounded I meant it like the therapy way to make yourself not like cigarettes or something heh
