i don't really like bi characters in games, but if they bring it in i won't really be against it either, I'll just let my renegade be a both since he is a ****. he hates everything and cheats on everyone.

in my opinion Joker doesn't seem like the BI type i think of him as a straight shooter but those who want him with their male Shepard? I support them because hey they want what I want lol and when I play threw with my female shepard I am sure he won't even mention about being bi if he is and threw a male play threw he will be gay so it won't effect me one bit

Personally, I see Joker as the most logical choice for bisexual LI. Firstly, his sexuality was never clearly established, so it leaves a lot of space for interpretation. Secondly, in my opinion, s/s romance is going to be a new character (but I wouldn't mind if they made Tali or anyone else available for both genders as well). Lastly, as I said before, Joker is too awesome to be straight - c'mon, everyone wants to lay their hands on his hat, you can't deny it!
Just my two cents.

@Carilynn: Even if Joker does state that he is bi, it won't effect you if you play as a FemShep. His relationship to your FemShep is no less valid because he would love her just as much if she was a man. If anything wouldn't that just reaffirm his affection for her?

Because that would sort of tell me, "I love you for you, not for your vagina."

This might just be me, though.

EDIT: Adding, I want all characters in videogames to be bi.

Well =) I am all for Joker being bi. I will only romance him with my FemShep,(if it is possible to do so) but I know that there are many who wish for him to be gay.... so hey.... let's compromise. Then all of us can get to romance the awesome that is Joker.

btw =) finally weekend! I have the gamecomputer all revved up. Time to hit ME and see what my little FemShep is up to. Hope to hear some good Joker-dialouge...apparently I've forgotten quite a bit from his ME-stuff =)

a both is when the character goes both ways. Mainly a Bi. i get my words mixed up, i was tired when i wrote the early post lols

For some reason I thought you were talking about all the squadmates being both sexes.   I was like ROWR<3.

Jacob's is funny; you need to reject him 3 times before he leaves (no priiiize). Tali actually sounds understanding, but you can hear her voice cracking when she says "can't blame a girl for trying." Though I would never be cruel enough to try, I wonder what Joker's would look like.

Only if they're also all naked. And covered in oil. And running awfully close to each other. Or to the the changing rooms for a quick shag. And you have full camera control. That's not really what I said, though. I am saying I don't want him to be straight for femShep and gay for mShep. I want him to be bisexual. As in, even if he sleeps with FemShep, he might still eye Kaidan up. Because he will always swing both ways. Now, if he does, it still won't affect anyone's relationship to him.

I figure him for a fairly loyal LI, should he ever become one.

Rejecting Joker would be as cruel as rejecting Alistair... It's just impossible! None of us could it, anyway. And I think this relationship is perfect: he's a friend, he's loyal, funny, he came back (and didn't torment Shepard with "you're with Cerberus nao?!" thing). There is no other LI as matched and suitable for Shepard as Joker, period.

It was almost painful to read Omega Thorsk's post! I could never do that. It's pretty unfair to give hope to a LI and then reject them. If I wanted to end a romance, I'd do it much sooner. Having said that, I hope there will be ways to end a romance without sounding too rude or heartless.

Hmm... how will we then know what that dialouge looks llike        hmm...perhaps we will try to do some kind of virtual rock-paper-sissors competition, one of us will just have to bite the bullet and give it a go. And tell the rest of us all about it afterwards
