see i don't hate Edi i understand what she is and what she is doing and to make her romancable by any means is like creepy. I just don't like edi/joker fans to have no logic in their explanation on why this should be - just that they like their banter and thats why they should be together.

i am glad that every one who played KOTOR spared the robot cause that is exactly what i did lol

I like EDI too, just the body thing will take some getting used to. She will always be that orb with the conveniently placed "mouth"...

Gee I return only yesterday with the promise of a spoiler free thread, spoilers being the very reason I've avoided BSN the past few months, but on my second day I get hit with one.
I should've seen it coming. I wonder why make EDI a squad member though (I've no idea if that's true or not, purely hypothetical) when we have Legion? I sure hope it's not an excuse to introduce another hot chick into the mix.

Sorry guys, I'm gonna bring down the hammer again. In light of recent events, I see no other alternative than to report anyone posting spoilers on this thread. Even when we have made it abundantly clear that this is a spoiler-free thread, we still have issues. <_<

Just so we're clear: We do not tolerate spoilers. At all. Anyone who posts a spoiler from now on will be regarded as a spoiler-spamming troll, and will be dealt with as such. This thread only discusses specific information confirmed by BioWare, not any material from leaked files. No one point in any of those files is officially confirmed, and are thus banned from this thread.

There are people that love being in here and discussing the relevant topic, but you all that have been posting spoilers have ruined it for them. This is not acceptable.

I propose a big, bold headed line to be put at the top of our OP, reading, "We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy regarding unconfirmed spoilers (i.e. information from the leaked beta .tlk files) and posts regarding their contents will be reported."

For those that can't be bothered to read the OP or the past few pages, and don't get the message that posting spoilers is not OK, post at your own risk. If you don't respect the wishes of the people that post in this thread, you will be reported. Plain and simple. Bottom line.

Likewise, to my fellow Jokerites on this thread: read posts with caution. I would also appreciate it if no one responds to anyone posting spoilers. That way, the spoilers will stay contained to the silly poster who decided not to read anything. Also, don't feed the trolls by discussing what they post. Kthanx.

I'd personally argue against this as well..

The only relationships an AI should ever truly pursue are those that are beneficial to the AI's goals. They cannot feel emotional in any way, shape, or form. Unless the technology arises that an AI could be imprinted with a personality. Even then it's completely unlikely because they lack any form of organic material to react correctly.

No AI romances should be available between Edi, Legion or anything that's AI. In my opinion >.< ! I'm not saying that can't play nice, but come on. They *have* *NO* *EMOTIONS!*

Edit: That's also without taking into account the fact that Legion is effectively a collective of differing opinions from an entire, galaxy consuming, core of intellectuals. Even *IF* they could feel emotions, which they can't, there's no way in hell Legion would be mentally stable enough to continue his existence, let alone start a romance with another AI.

Yep, that's exactly why we don't take anything seriously unless Casey or someone else credible at BioWare says we should.
