Concerning Mr. Verner, Omega has a good theory about him. Perhaps he shall tell us the next time he pops in.

I would love to! *pulls out guitar, sits on a nearby stool, and starts strumming a neutral tune*

Well, my theory is that Conrad certainly has a wife. Or at least had a wife. He's always talking about her and yet he seems to live on the Citadel in the first game, and in the second game he seems to think he's the Dread Pirate Shepard, galavanting around the galaxy righting wrongs and whatnot with a wife that supports him on Earth (supposedly). My theory is that his wife died a long time ago, traumatizing him greatly. After years of therapy, he adopts a type of hero syndrome, looking up to and desiring to emulate heroes like Shepard, while also living in the fantasy that his wife is still alive and supporting his actions.

So there. My sad yet somewhat interesting theory on Conrad and his wife.

Interesting theory. Personally, I still think that he's crazy and his wife is at home ready to kill either him or FemShep, but I doubt Bioware will confirm in ME3 whether or not your theory is true. Quite interesting, though.

Edit: Top of the page. Nice. :)

Hey guys, I'm not here to tell you how to behave on the internet, but remember that Casey's a person too - Golden Rule etc etc.

As a peace offering, I will tell you that there are some pretty awesome Joker moments in ME3 that I'm really excited for. Not confirming or denying Joker romance, but the writers know what they are doing.

I should go.

While reading this page I was contemplating making a Twitter account just to let Hudson now about us Jokermancers, but I'm pretty sure he knows of us and I don't wanna risk annoying him.

That said, as long as we're smart about this and don't tweet him every five minutes, we should be alright, it's just a bit of a fine line.

We have been on this forum for a while now, supporting Joker as an LI, and I'm certain that some people from Bioware would keep an eye on this and report suggestions and such to their superiors. It's the whole point of a forum, we players speak our minds, justify why things would be a great addition to a game, we're the consumers and we deserve just a bit of input no? Of course they'd need officials to read these threads from time to time for suggestions and to know what the current fanbase wants.

We keep doing what we're doing, avoid spoilers and leaks because they'll just be drafts anyway, stay optimistic and hope for the best.

Yeah exactly; so long as we're not obnoxious about it, we should be fine. It's not in anybody's best interest to ****** off Casey Hudson, especially when we're trying to convince him to give us something in ME3.

And yes, we don't like spoilers. They're eeeeevil. I'd like to consider myself an ME3 virgin, and I'd like to stay that way until I play the game.

Hey, you know what? We should see if we can get #Jokermance trending on Twitter one day. Not by spamming his feed, but by just talking about it in general.

If anyone needs some cheering up, and followed the development of Skyrim, just think to the situation with Werewolves, they were close to flat out denying it, and the big surprise was only ruined because of leaks/piracy. That certainly taught me a lesson, I was so sure they'd do it as DLC, because who doesn't want free money? Then again different company *points to day 1 dlc*, but anything is possible.

... Can we send some of the newbie cookies as an apology to Casey? ):

I suppose we could. Or something else. Wonder what he'd do if he got a bunch of apology tweets from Jokermancers?

I am surprised that one of the Bioware people posted here, I am glad to know we are at least acknowledged. I did spam Casey but it was only three tweets and only because I couldn't fit it all in (damn twitter and its 140 character limit)

He did sound peeved in his last tweet but I don't think he'd be the sort of person to go, oh they're annoying me too much, let's NOT put the Jokermance in just to ****** them off.

I only tweeted to him twice I think, and both times it was in response to someone else. I didn't even get around to tweeting my comic (which is now colored, by the way).

I don't think he is either, but still. Having him pissed at us isn't the best tactical move we can make.

I only tweeted him once, and I hope I came across as polite.

I vote we send him virtual cookies, or someone draw him a cookie! And it should say:

Please accept this virtual cookie from your fans. We really do appreciate what you do.

Sincerely,
Jokerites

I think most of us wanted to avoid that.

So yeah, I'm thinking some apology tweets with virtual cookies are definitely in order.

Hopefully he'll believe our sincerity, and not think we sent the apologies because we thought it threatened a possible Jokermance. *sigh* Oh well. Live and learn.

*drops head on desk*

*pops back up* Anyways! Have a Joker:

Oi, I really hope he doesn't think it's a ploy...it's not! We're honestly sorry. :crying:

*doesn't get up 'cause she's tired*

Oh this isn't directly related to Joker, but did you see the Normandy lithograph that comes in the Collector's Edition?

No, not officially.

Tweets were a good idea, gang...but geez, some of these got a bit  really crazy. I know that emotions are running high right now with us, especially those of us who have wanted this romance since the beginning - for years. I've got my own reservations and my own feelings, but I'll keep supporting with them in check. Glad to see y'all are trying to smooth things over.

I'll keep tweeting my support #Jokermance, rather than tweeting directly to anyone.

Edit: Fix'd

I come back from work to see that a dev posted in our thread, telling us to simmer down, and that Casey just might be upset at us!?!?

Wha- how many tweets were being sent, exactly!?

I thought this campaign was just going to be a friendly nudge... but now it seems to have struck a nerve! Casey did not sound happy in that tweet...

For what it's worth, Bioware, I'm so sorry about this. And if Casey is reading, know that you have people that support you in this thread! We don't want to add to the stress you're obviously feeling right now and it was never our intent to upset you! I would tell you via twitter... but I don't have one!

...well, on the bright side, we now know that Bioware is aware of us as a fanbase... *awkward Mordin clearing throat noise*
