Just had a flashback last night. Anybody remember the movie Unbreakable by M Night Shymalan? Samuel L jackson played a dude with Vroliks in it. And he was Bruce Willis's nemesis so that's pretty bad-****. That's a good rebuttal for the naysayers and those concerned with the intactness of Mr. Moreau's pelvis

I'm coming out of hiding! Well, I did in the ME2 Joker thread a couple days ago. Might as well make an entrance here, too... but I'm kinda afraid to read something I don't wanna know. Who am I kidding, I can't stay away where Joker is concerned. It's just too fun reading what everybody thinks of him.

@ Koji-san - Snakes on The Normandy? I've already heard the catch phrase for that one.

I don't have much else to say except I've been reading Joker/Shep fanfiction LIKE CRAZY. Excuse me, time for another dose...*snorts fanfic* <- Phantom high on Joker love.

And I agree with SilentK and Omega Torsk - we need more scenes exploring the Joker romance in how we think it would be. We could possibly post challenges, maybe? Like....write out Joker and Shepard's first argument. GO!

Doesn't Joker have Vrolik's syndrome only in the groinal-tibial area? Also, realize that the guy hobbled quickly through a ship, climbed through several emergency ducts (which involved ladders), and got literally blown onto his hindside when EDI accelerated the Normandy in order to kill off the boarding collectors. Not to mention the time he crash-landed into the Collector Base (he only commented that it felt like he broke his bones. But there he was, being awesome with his assault rifle during the escape). If Joker can go through all of that without shattering his oh-so-fragile bones, how will gently cuddling with Femshep render him dead by snu snu?

Also, I've checked, and nobody has posted this one, yet!

I would take you up on this, but I just got home from work and I'm pretty tired. Besides, I think I've done enough damage to this thread with my "Joker Rejection" fic. Lol

And I think so  too...I remember in ME1 Joker said it were is legs that have vrolik's. Something about being born with most of the bones in his legs broken, and he wouldn't have survived without the great strides of technology of their time period. And in ME2, EDI said he suffered stress fractures in his legs from his run-about in the Normandy. So, you're probably right. (And anyone would have suffered broken/fractured ribs from the crash on the Collector base, especially in Joker's general positioning. The armrests didn't help matters, I think. *beats on armrests that hurt Joker*)

Right! There won't be any death by snu snu. If he can handle a crashlanding he can handle a bit of cuddling     well, I think my FemShep wants to do more than just cuddle but you can always start out slow 


Trying to write a good scene for a fight between Joker and FemShep... I have a newfound respect for anyone who mangages to write fanfiction in any way, shape or form. This is difficut, I really think so. Lol, I might just post it later on, hoping that setting the bar sufficienlty low will inspire others to come forward. Omega Torsk, that little break-up scene was great! You can hurt us anytime you like

Okay, that hurt me just writing that! This is why I never reject an ME LI. It just feels wrong!

 I think I had the same reaction everyone else did. It just can't happen like that! 

They shouldn't make Joker rejectable. It should be hard enough to get things going in the first place that you can't reject him, you can only persistently pursue him or not start anything. Because breaking Joker's heart is like slaughtering a puppy. Sure, that stuff might happen in the world, but I would like very much to not ever have to think about it. Ever.

I'm so glad it's not just me who thought that! Now I have hope that it isn't just my wishful thinking.  

I wonder how many hours there were for the previous games... but this is a good sign regardless. I mean, Joker's a beloved character, so we should be seeing plenty of him because it's what the fan base wants. Who doesn't love Joker and who doesn't love Seth Green? That's two major points in favor of more content for him in ME3!

*gulp* I REALLY hope there's no heroic sacrifice crap. For him or Anderson. Honestly, I'm really scared about that.

*puts on her very serious face* You are fully right to do so! Section 68734 of article 42 clearly states that all pictorial depictions of gay male Mass Effect characters engaged in adult situations such as kissing, fondling, rolling around in the proverbial hay, showering together, etc. must contain at minimum one or more shirtless torsos. I'm sure we can all agree that these rules are fair...

I'm glad you asked. *grins* The fun in that is that one person being shirtless and the other being in the process of removing the second shirt implies that they are both getting naked in an attempt to do something about their future nakedness rather than just hanging out after some sort of naturally shirtless activity such as swimming.

Assuming you didn't mean this the way some folks are interpreting it, I had the same feeling. Meaning, the idea of Anders being bi or gay didn't bother me at all, but... Karl?! An old dude with the beard that ate Orlais and the hair that started a thousand grey brushfires? *shudder* Ew... Unfortunate Implications, there.

Maybe he was intended to not be very old, and Anders is supposed to be older than he looks, but in my head they look far enough apart in age difference that him being Anders' first sounded practically pedophilic. I mean, seriously.... ew. He looks 50 and Anders I thought was like at most 28.

But that doesn't mean they'd handle a bi Joker that way. Maybe he'd only discover it through Shepard. I mean, I just think Shepard/Joker is something Joker wouldn't see coming no matter what.
