Oh god, even Joker's not safe from creepy face.

At least his creepy face is better than Shepard's rape face.

*shudders*

EDIT: ToP Joker. Ah, speaking of that face..

Yes but then the question would be, would you spend all day computing Pi?

I run for the hills at the sound of calculators and long division.

But for Jokermance...I would. I'd even simply walk into Mordor, and poke Sauron's eye with a 39 and a half foot pole.

Witty. and you can add the Vrolik's heart line to your credit too.
For
some reason this really makes me think more of T-shirt thought,
something like: "I computed Pi all day and all I got was this
this T-****. WHERE IS MA JOKERMANCE!?"

I love those t-shirts!

"I simply walked into Mordor, and all I got was this t-shirt!"
"Voldemort killed my parents, and all I got was this t-shirt!"
"TIM brought me back to life, and all I got was this t-shirt (along with several upgrades and a new body)!"

"So let me get this straight.
I walked into Mordor.
I defeated Voldemort.
I escaped Jareth's Labrynth.
I destroyed a Death Star, &
was Captain of the Enterprise...
but all I got was this lousy t-shirt?
Where is my Jokermance?!"

Curious, how did you all react when Joker waltzed in during ME2?
I knew he was gonna come in, but still, when I saw him I screamed, laughed like a maniac, had a gigglefest and then for the next half hour or so I started randomly giggling like a creeper every now and then.

I had the BIGGEST smile on my face. My heart was pounding from excitement (I REALLY get into my games...hahaha). Then, when they showed the Normandy I was like "HOLY...****..." haha. Actually, between seeing this thread and that moment in the game was the reason I became a supporter of Jokermance. When I thought about it, Joker was the prefect option for my Shepard. Joker really showed his loyalty for Shepard at that moment. He was the first member of Shepard's old crew to see him/her...alive anyways...haha

That's the first time I ever saw Joker. *Coughs* Yeah, I played ME2 before ME1... BUT, I thought he was the s***, and was totally bummed he wasn't one of the romance options. I was really disappointed he wasn't a romance option after I saw the end of the Suicide Mission.

So, here's my contribution to the Joker hats:

We should seriously start a group or something...if there isn't one already. XD

I wanted to play ME1 first, but my roommate (who introduced me to the game) didn't have it with him. I ended up loving ME2 so much I bought both of them for myself even though I didn't have an Xbox at the time.

Btw MissFish, where did you get the ME3 ticker in your siggy? I wants one!

That scene is fantastic, but it has so much more meaning if you've beaten the first game. If you haven't already, I'd suggest beating the first game and then playing the second one. :)
OH MAN. When Joker starts shooting that assault rifle at the end of the game, I was like "JOKER. SQUAD. NOW." Well...after his Vrolik's Syndrome is patched up a bit. I wouldn't want him snapping shin bones in the middle of a fight. Haha

I've done somewhere around 5...6...maybe 7 (I've lost count) complete, imported playthroughs now, and many more ME2 playthroughs where I just loaded up another ME2 game right after I finished it with an imported character. My first exposure to ME2 was a little more than a year ago when my roommate plopped a controller in my lap one Friday night and said, "Play this." Lol. I didn't even own my own Xbox at the time.

But yes, I did appreciate Joker's appearance in ME2 more once I got to know him in ME1. I was very impressed with his "can do" attitude when he drops the Mako on Ilos...he makes everyone else (especially Pressly) look like whiny teenagers. Lmao!

Cool, thanks MissFish! I just didn't know if you'd gotten it from anywhere in particular...

I played ME2 first also! Funny thing is I didn't even know anything was wrong with Joker until I got to the scene where I could play as him. Then I was like "why is he running like that?"

So I looked it up and found out about his Vroliks. That's how I first started really noticing him. Then I played ME1 and ME2 again and fell in love with him!

We should start a group! It'd be awesome. XP

I have a semi-legitimate reason for playing ME2 first: I don't have an Xbox, only a PS3. But after playing it I decided I had to play ME1, my laptop's crappy video card be damned. I refused to let it get in my way!

Same here. I was kinda disappointed that you couldn't really talk to him much in ME1 other than the "Why is your nickname Joker?" and "Huh, Vrolik's? What the hell's that?" conversations. But anyway, when Joker says, "I can do it." with such determination/seriousness and then flawlessly makes the drop afterward, I was sold. Joker became my main man in Mass Effect. :D

Ah girls. I wont even say it. We all know whats happening at the release date. I just want to say some kind words before my victory dance on March 6th. You guys manage to take the most improbable romance and champion it harder than most confirmed LI's. For that, you deserve some respect. Even if it's just for your willingness to deceive yourself.

You guys still deserve some recognition. I came at your fanbase hard in the past and you stood strong. You stood together, raised your wall of defiance and never backed down.

When I threw logic at you. You evaded
When I threw  good arguments at you. You evaded
When I threw sound reasoning at you. You evaded.

This fanbase was a worthy opponent and it's a bitter sweet moment to see it all come crumbling down. We all knew this was going to happen though, which makes the outcome even funnier. When march 6th comes and the inevitable Joker romance fallout begins. I will be honoured to flame every last one of you.

Until then. I salute you Joker fans. The true trolls of BSN!!!

I totally love the Joker-related reference, by the way.

And, on a more serious note, you speak the truth. B)

Like, seriously. Unless you work for Bioware, I suggest you calm yo ******.

And btw, don't try to out-logic me, compadre. You are on the loosing side already. Your points have no true intellectual merit, so unless you plan on taunting us to death like a French soldier from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, I must bid you good day sir!

Meh.

Back to the topic:

I also played ME2 first, but only got up to saving Garrus before I thought: "MAYBE I should get ME1..." I felt like I was missing out on so much stuff. And I was right! ...*sigh* I hate being right.

But y'all should have seen the look the salesman gave men when he asked if I played ME1 first.

Me: Nope! Starting with ME2.
Him: Image IPB
Me: ...That's bad, I take it.

Not as bad as you think really. ^_^ I started out with ME1 myself, but I really wanted a buddy of mine to get hooked to the series, but he only played like 10 min. of ME1 and was bored, (I know..he's really picky...). So I started him out on ME2---and he's still a hardcore fan to this day.  He later went back to play ME1 and loved it too. So I think it just depends on the person, ya?:)

You know, when I first played ME1, it was such a gorram chore. Maybe that's because I played ME2 first, but I have a feeling I might not have been as crazy about Mass Effect if I'd played the first game first. However, knowing that all of my "choices" were default renegade going through ME2 made me itching to "get it right" in ME1. Then I discovered all the other little perks of importing a ME1 Shep into ME2 and was totally delighted to no end. Too bad there was no Joker, though...:(
