I can deal with Miranda, since Ryan normally just ignores her and goes about his commander-y business. But Jacob? No. When he mentions their best interest involving an airlock when talking about Legion, I was thinking, "I'm going to throw you out the damn airlock. Why are even here? I don't remember asking for your opinion. *grumble grumble grumble*"SgtPepper667 wrote...

But anyway. Enough Jacob-bashing. Yes, Joker's response was just plain kickass. My first time playing ME2 I wanted to jump to his aid, but then he held his own and I just kinda sat there like, "........HA, he told you, Miranda!"

I was video-jumping on YouTube. Somehow I ended up there. I'm still not quite sure how. Not necessarily sure why Shepard and Joker would be dancing like that as opposed to a slow dance, but cut me some slack. It's 2 a.m. My brain's officially been off for 3 hours. It makes sense to me at the moment.
...
Here's a compilation of Joker/EDI moments in ME2.

Jacob does have this strange obsession with that airlock.....
Everyother word out of his mouth douring his romance had to do with getting spaced.
He kinda deserves it too. I need someone to go find Wheatly for me.....
and i think that we can all argree anyhing joker says is pure awesome. And Miranda needs to de for being mean to him.

And I always got uber protective of Joker when Miranda just storms in and blames him for everything. But then, Joker is the king of snark so he can take care of himself. XD
Also, I may not care much for Jacob as a romance, but he always somehow ends up being my Shepard's bro. I tried to kill him in my last PT, and I couldn't do it! I reloaded! NOTE: Seeker Swarms are EVIL. D:

question why would Jacob continually mention being spaced to someone who died by being spaced? just seems like a horrible thing to do.
Good point, sir!
I totally wanted the option to rip Miranda to shreds after she pulled her, "Everyone? You lost everyone and damn near lost the ship, too?" I know Sky was thinking about it. I also know Sky was probably worried sick about Joker the entire shuttle ride back to the ship.

This.
I know Annabel, who already has panic attacks, was being held down in the shuttle by Garrus because she wouldn't calm down.
Bel: Vakarian, let me up!
Garrus: Not until you calm down!
Bel: Joker may be hurt and my entire crew was just kidnapped! HOW CAN I CALM DOWN?!
Mordin: *sniffs* Mental breakdown natural when one's mate is in critical danger.
Bel: Joker is not my mate and YOU'RE NOT MAKING ME FEEL BETTER.
Miranda: Bloody hell, just give her a sedative!
Bel: Come near me with a needle and I'll throw all of you out the airlock!
Garrus: *looks at Miranda* You couldn't, oh I don't know...take out the hysteria when you worked on her?
Bel: HEY!
Miranda: *sighs* The Illusive Man wouldn't let me.
Garrus: But you gave her more cushion?
Miranda: ...I...
Bel: AHA! I knew it! I knew I went up a bra size and a pants size!
Zaeed: *smirks* Hell yeah.
Kasumi: Explains why Joker stares at her chest instead of her eyes...
Bel: ...*blush* He does?
Kasumi: Oh look, we're back at the Normandy!
Bel:
Garrus: Kasumi...I will kill you.
Kasumi: *smirks* Try it, tough guy.
Bel: *practically clawing at door*
Oh! I forgot the cookies for the newcomers! BAD PHANTOM.

Aw come on. I don't think we need go that far. Besides Joker gets a good comeback (albeit later on). Whose bright idea was it to take everyone in the shuttle, leaving the ship defenseless? And/or who went along with said bright idea?SgtPepper667 wrote...

Joker lets Shepard know that was a stupid idea (if you go talk to him afterward). I honestly do wonder about that, though. I still can't come up with a legitimate reason for taking every single squad member where ever they ended up going.CrutchCricket wrote...

I was joking, making fun of how Jacob's solution to anything hostile is to throw it out the airlock, haha.
@Phantom: My god...that cookie looks delicious! Thank you! ^^
EDIT: @viggorrah: Miranda said before you boarded that all squad members should go and Shep could decide who to take when they got there...still...it's pretty stupid if you ask me. I'd want to leave at least two or three behind...just in case...y'know...Collectors decided to board the ship.

Acutally now that you mention it being a personal mission, I remember that I had come up with an idea like that. Sort of; it's not necessarily Shepard's mission, but it is someone's who's close to him. Who, you ask? You'll have to wait until I start uploading it.CDRSkyShepard wrote...
Yeah, I never quite got why the entire squad of badasses had to go on that particular outing. Currently, I'm writing a flashback scene for my fanfiction about Shepard's perspective during that whole incident, and her concern for Joker as they're coming back. The biggest hangup I've had is trying to find a good reason why all of them had to go. Right now the idea I'm playing with is that it was a personal mission given to her by her father, kind of a search and rescue thing...

That part of the plot has always bugged me. I understand that the whole squad leaving the Normandy was convenient for the ship to be defenseless and no squaddie end up being kidnapped, but it was poorly writen IMO. What a coincidence! And we were never satisfactorily explained why that decision was made. I want to know what explanation you come up with, because I really need a good reason.

That one comment from Miranda caused me to kill her in every single playthrough.
I let her live once, got my achivment, and then reloaded a save to kill her.
You can't declare yourself my second-in-command AND be mean to Joker, and expect to live.
