You are quite right. Which is why I am too scared to play with the Joker-FemShep first. What if there is no Joker-LI and she just tries to get his attention the entire game without succeding. It would be my first FemShep ever to get the ForeverAlone-achivement, three games single. Nope, I'm going to have to wait for one brave soul to play it before me and tell me how it is. Should I cry in my pillow, get it over with, perhaps see if Liara feels like mending a brokenhearted FemShep, or is it a go on the Joker-mance in which case she quickly moves up the playlist to a second place. I'm working my Joker femshep though right now, and i'm likeing her the most. I spent alot of time on charecter creation with her,and shes sort of become my favorite. I'd hate for her to have her heart broken....

I mean, it's unnatural how much I miss Charging. ). But anyway. If Joker's not romancable, well let's just say I would have gotten that Forever Alone trophy pretty damn quickly too. I'm kinda afraid to find out, so I'm importing Ryan first.

EDI/Joker: who in the thread was it that wrote something like "Joker, love the ship, just don't LOVE the ship". That about sums it up for me =) I guess that for me EDI is still a computer, a very loved computer, but not more than that. It all comes down to what the writers see in this since they decide. All in all, no matter what I will enjoy taking all my FemShep's through ME3, but I would be sad if there wasn't a possibility to romance Joker. If there wasn't a romance I would feel like as if a good opportunity for a really compelling romance was taken away, but I will still play and be happy to see Joker.

I can't really say what will happen with the FemShep that I am putting through ME and ME2 for Joker, if she comes to ME3 and he is with EDI. It all comes down to a few different things a) how well stocked is the mini-bar in Kasumi's room, did Gardner get enough ice-cream to drown two games worth of waiting for Joker. Poor little girl, lol.

Awww guys, thank you for your warm welcome. And dang, I knew I shouldn't have eaten breakfast: now I can't eat all the cookies!


And oh my, I can see an equation here:
 Kasumi's Liquor + Garnder's Ice Cream= a very lonely Shepard singing "Louder" by Charice .


But oh well, I guess I'll take the risk. If Joker's going to be with EDI in ME3, my Shepard will fill the AI Core room with Zaeed's explosives....


EDIT: I forgot to add, not only the AI Core room is gone, Shep's just going to let the Reapers eat  Earth alive...

Hey, mine too! Ryla's an Adept, but she likes her Mattock (I love that rifle). Oh yeah, huge change. Instead of close-quarters fighting, I'm stuck behind cover all the time firing Singularities and Warps all over the place. Which isn't bad, I'm just not used to it. At all. :|

We'll all be disappointed if he's not an LI, but I'm positive he'll have a bigger role in ME3. Like I said somewhere before, I doubt they would make Seth Green record 12 hours of dialogue if Joker was just listening to porn the entire game.

...that would be so horrible.

And I have only one Joker-gal now. I was originally going to have three, but in fear of the romance not working out, just the one: Annabel. She will get the Forever Alone achievement if there is not Joker romance, because I honestly can't see her with anyone else.

Well...aside from Zaeed, but even then she may not go for him. XD

I've always loved adept because you can spec them full on support, solider, or sniper. I have 4 adepts, but none of them feel the same. Warps also pretty amazing

Edited to add that my Joker love (or if all else fails Forever Alone) Shepard will be named Andromeda, I have started her playthrough but I had to stop myself because without knowing for sure that Joker is a love interest I have been tempted to romance her with Kaidan and I really don't want to, I'll just wait 4 months and see what happens lol.

I feel his gait would almost be EASILY adjustable with a walking cane from how he moves, and that could be pimp classy ... maybe hard to animate though? Anyway if he can go crawling through the ducts on his hands and knees and not break his wrist bones (or knee caps (as far as is mentioned) for those writing fics) then his spine should definitely be able to handle the weight of his upper body for him to stand straight; unless he just healed that way once.

... I really don't care if he moves around or not, I have a Shepherd set aside for his charming wit and one good bone. ;P

I will also take this time to mention that until I started reading fanfiction, it didn't even occur to me that Joker might even feel the slightest bit guilty about spacing Shepherd or that he might have anything to feel guilty about. Even my Renegade was glad to see Joker up and well. After having these ideas brought to my attention however I realize it could lead to excellent serious 'forgive me' conversations where I'm sure you could even have the option not to. I strongly feel Joker was disfavored to comic relief in ME2, rather than loyal friend, as he was in ME. I understand you were his boss and he was under pressure, but the fact that he shares stuff about his past with you in ME and is willing to pilot the stolen Normandy for you seem really significant. He saves the ship in ME2, but the sudden "I'm leaving and taking anyone of value with me" cutscene tainted the value of Joker's hard work, and the only conversation you ever have, even about your VS, is just so petty.

My main F!Shep romanced Garrus, and he is my favorite LI ME2, Kaidan might be my fav LI of the series after ME3, but both of them would be blown away by Joker if he were to be an LI. My main F!Shep Virmired Kaidan thinking that would somber Ashley and she could have angsty, emotional issues relating to killing off her flirty friend, but no. No picture on her desk and nothing gone on for ME1, and then on my second playthrough of ME2 with the character I "romanced" Samara, so this toon is ripe for realizing a real relationship (hopefully with the best damn pilot in the Alliance military (or whatever that exact reference is)).

Also, I'm working on a F!Shep/Joker fanfic, but I get so frustrated. I'm terrible at telling jokes and worry I don't portray his personality accurately enough; or else worry that my fluff / gutter work (are those words interchangeable? Am I using them in the correct way?) is too detailed for most audiences, and I don't like that.

Well, not another femShep at the very least, but yes you're right. I still have to do Murdoc's save. And yeah, he's as much of a dick jerk as he sounds.

If you're worried about it, I would say get yourself a beta. That's what I did, since I'm not sure I can write Joker correctly either, or any/all of the other characters other than Shepard.
