I love me Joker's green eyes...so brilliantly green and...gah! I just love them!!! I'm also nuts about guys with dark hair and either blue or green eyes...because it's such a rare combination.

That is one reason why I like Jacob though - you romance him, he lets you vent. As for me, Jacob is just my bro.

Aw, well thank you very much! I've been working on it for about a year now. (I remember that clearly, because I started writing it during finals week last fall because I really didn't want to study. Haha!) I'm always happy when I hear that I'm doing a good job. ^-^ With any luck, I'll have three chapters to upload shortly after I return home for the holidays.

My FemShep will definitely claim the Forever Alone trophy. It's funny that I played two BW games completely different...in ME and ME2 my character didn't romance anybody. However in DA, she bought every ho' in the bar! LOL.

No, you're definitely not alone. Yesterday my female cousin told me: "Did you know that Raphael Sbarge recorded the message for FemShep after Horizon?" "Yeah, why are you so thrilled? Are you a Kaidan fan?" "Yes, he's the only decent romance option for FemShep" "Wait, you don't like the other options?"  "No. Garrus is like a little brother for my Shepard. She couldn't romance him. Thane is too much drama for my taste. And Jacob... well, Jacob is Jacob."

Kaidan is currently the most popular male LI by far, but I suspect that if Joker were already a romance option, he would give him a run for his money.

Thats not what Bioware said  *COUGH*Garrus*COUGH* While Tali is the #1 female LI.
Though to be honest - if joker was an option from the start - He'd definitely wouldve been #1.

Hmm...maybe Joker's eye/mouth is a bit small? I mean, in comparison to Shepard. Anyone else think so or is that just me?

I guess I really didn't mean too dramaish. I was kind of talking about Thane and how his wife's dead, his son's in a bad place, and he's pretty sick. It just didn't seem right to get him in bed...

Actually, Joker's mouth is really bothering me, I just haven't figured out how to fix it yet. Haha. I'll try making his eye bigger too, it does look pretty small. (I've only drawn girls...kinda obvious XD )

I did ask for pointers, so I didn't take that the wrong way! I couldn't figure out what was wrong, so I needed help

EDIT: I'm currently reading Sky's fanfic, so far it's badass!

Indeed. Felt so bad for him though. Some life  Thane needs a hug.

@Sgtpepper: I actually agree with viggorrah. The eyes and mouth seem kinda off. Maybe widening his eyes a tad could work? Trial and error is ur friend [especially to artists]. But it IS coming out rather nicely I look forward to how it progresses!

As far as I know, that's not what BioWare has said, either. Garrus is more popular a character, yes, among the general fandom. I'll say it again: Garrus is a more popular character than Kaidan. Kaidan is the number one male LI interest, not the most popular male character, which is different.

And for loyalty-sake , stayed, well.....loyal. While another percentage "cheated", or what i call "moved on". The remaining just stayed single in me1, and romanced garrus in me2. Then others just actually liked kaiden for an option.

.....or did the "Forever alone" playthru for joker  I applaud at those shepards. Thats tough to do.

Well, I don't know this interview you're talking about, but if the concept artist said that, then I concede that I'm probably wrong (I'm not stubborn). I'm basing my statement upon what I do know, and upon the repetitive cyclic polls done here. These polls are very consistent in the results they return, although there's a chance that they're statistically biased.

And I agree with you about what could be the cause for a good amount of people to romance Kaidan: he was an option in ME1 while Garrus wasn't. So Kaidan has always had a numeric advantage.

I'm trying to figure out what's off about your drawing, and I don't find it. When you first post it, I saw something wrong, too. But now, the more I see it the more I like it. Yes, Joker's eyes and mouth are smaller than Shepards, but a guy's eyes and mouth are supposed to be smaller than a lady's, anyway. Try widening Joker's lower lip just slightly. Leave his upper lip untouched. And make his eye somewhat bigger (maybe as big as hers, if you feel that generous, but don't make it bigger than Shepard's). That's what I could recommend.

Wait what? I thought BW said Jacob was romanced more often than Kaidan was (due to ME2 being played far more than ME1 and only around half of ME2 games were imports)? (I got this from someone else though so it might not be true) Do you have a source for this Kaidan is the most romanced male LI thing?

Its a possibility on the polls being biased  Then again only rather a handful of the entire community vote in them and obviously not every ME fan is apart of BSN. Its would make sense if BW did keep tabs on what everyone is doing. Didnt they say they "observe" gamers playthrus? Like the same thing with who the players play as? [male and female]. I remember them mentioning a percentage somewhere in an article-obivously more played as maleshep]. I wouldnt b surprised if the picked up on romances - thus why i guess that statement was given by that concept artist. If only i could find the darn thing. But alas - it was so long ago this year.

Ah, and it saddens me when Femshep had such limited options to romance in me1. It was either romance the only guy, or be a lesbian. What kind of odds are those? Not that I have any problems with them, i actually adore Liara and Kaiden very much as characters! But I stayed single lol. Sadly the men that interested me were off limits [garrus & joker].

Anyone's guess as to when Bioware starting catching on to the demand of a jokermance? I know it wasnt with me1. Or if it was - the demand for him got greatly overshadowed by Garrus and Tali fans. Im guessing due to the bigger role Joker had in me2, the actual huge rise in demand started there.

BW hates to admit it, but Jacob was practically one of the worse received characters of me2.
I personally like Jacob. As a buddy or someone to "spill some drinks on the citadel" with. Other than that, nothing else :/ he can be a bit of a downer sometimes.
Based on what ive seen around the net, with help from statements from Bioware- its possible that this is where the romances stand:
Tali
Garrus
Kaiden
Liara
Ashley
Miranda
Thane
Jack
Jacob
[i know theres also Samara, Kelly, etc but im talking about the supposed "main" romances]. If joker was an option. He'd probably take the spot behind tali, or at least behind or before kaiden.

I was pretty upset when Kaidan was the only male LI in Mass Effect. I thought Joker was attractive (for a fictional character XD ) and I wanted to romance him because he was hilarious and seemed like someone I would actually date. (I was playing Shepard as if she were me) in Mass Effect 2, I saw more of Joker and I really wanted to romance him. Especially when he was the first one to come back. Bioware HAS to see this...I'm sure they know what they're doing. At the very least, I'd be okay with Joker and Shep improving their friendship, but I'd LOVE to see it go beyond that.

WOW. I just finished Sky's story. It was AMAZING. Finish it, Sky! I can't WAIT to read the rest of it!
